I never got the impression that it was only going to be a guest spot from Ryan's first tweet.Still anxious to know all the other details tho.

this is not a reliable source of information

We don't know how reliable this source is, but I have always felt the way Ryan Murphys tweet was worded Adams role would be more than a guest spot. Heres hoping.

From Murphy's tweet, it sounded that Adam is part of the cast and he will do more than one episode. IMO once the viewers put Cory's passing behind, Adam will be a new sow's fav. And he will have more appearances on the show. Can't wait!

This source is just speculating off already existing info. They'd make great glamberts ;)

3.26 LOL so true, we are the worst.
OT Just saw Aviciis Wake me up video on one of our music channels it is No 1. Turned to another music channel and it was being played there to. Wouldn't it be great if Lay me down was their next single sounds like they are going to be big.

Just read that Keith Urban is definite as an Idol judge for next season. But that talks with Adam Lambert have stalled...possible scheduling conflicts. The first part is probably true. Who knows about the second part. There have been so many rumors for so long about Adam joining the Idol panel, but I am guessing that he won't be on it. It is great to read that his Glee character will be more than a guest spot. As with any of these stories, we will just have to wait to hear the actual truth from the producers of Idol or Ryan Seacrest and then from Ryan Murphy about Glee. Probably the next month or so will reveal all.

Adam went way back for his Thursday throwback.

Said on E news KU, be back Idol and JLO in talks still, no word on third I did not here anything about WI unless mentioned later just heard that part. Only mentioned two people. Adam better off in Glee, I think room to grow.

Yes, Ryan Murphy said Adam will be part of the Glee cast. That is very clear to me that if he fits in well, he becomes a pretty permanent actor on Glee. If you ask me, there seems to be lacking a striking star on the show; they're all very good but no one stands out. So my reasoning about Adam may/may not be an Idol judge due to his longer commitments on Glee, seems to be panning out and that's why as I've said the reason for Adam not picked as AI judge, won't be clear-cut this time round than before. Adam's Glee stint may be a watershed moment for him, in the sense Glee is a stronger and bouncier springboard to catapult Adam to wherever he can reach. I would have loved to have Adam on AI but it's better he concentrates on Glee; he's new there and doing AI and Glee may be distracting. I think it boils down to time scheduling. Oh not forgetting that huge potential Freddie proposition! could be a fairly likely reason; the big red cherry on the cream of a scrumptious pudding pie. lol!

@4:03 I agree that it would be a dream come true if Lay Me Down is a single and becomes a huge hit worldwide and played on U.S. radio.

Oh geez. Adam is not on AI because they wanted big stars. End of story.

Is KU a big star?

I never expected Adam to be on as judge after the previous producers were fired including Darnell.
It was the above names who thought of the idea of having the Idol alums be on the judging panel.
More so when Adam grabbed joining the cast of Glee, I knew then Idol will not happen.
How can Fox executives allow Adam on two shows every week, one after the other on same night????

10:38 so right you are. I am so happy for Glee.

You don't know that Keith is a very successful country artist? He has been in the business for twenty years, won 4 grammys, put out 9 albums and had many, many big hits.

2:06 I guess I just hadn't heard of him much before Idol last year. Maybe he was before my time. He did a good job on AI last year.

Lack of a striking star on Glee? LOL, try Lea Michelle and Chris Colfer.

Keith Urban's country music has a rock vibe to it and yep, he's a successful dude.

I am not too familiar with the Glee folks but I soon will be.

Before your time? Lol He is played on radio all the time right now. his last Grammy was in 2011.

Please allow me to just say up front that I am not one of those Adam fans that doesn't see the amazing talent out there in the music and pop culture world!! However, having given that disclaimer, I have to say that I think Glee has indeed been lacking in a male star (or actor, let's keep it simple :)) lacking in a male actor with some real "it" factor. Just my opinion of course, but I hold on to completely. I have watched Glee since beginning, I love it... but I still contend that it could use a series regular (or often used/seen actor anyway) male character with some real heat, "it", comedic aptitude but with a certain gravitas at the same time if that makes sense, true innate sensuality, and just general uber MAGNETIC quality that Adam Lambert possesses. Just my POV. :) Finger's crossed for more than just a few episode arc!!!

7:53I have not been into country and if he is Top 40 I still missed him.

@9:46
Never you mind. You haven't missed anything important or exceptional. :)

I like Keith as a person and I think he has such a swagger and is hot.
But I found him lame as a judge when he as the rest of the judges could not give a spot on critique on the night Amber sang off key.
The foul note was so obvious that Amber herself was crying even before she finished singing knowing she blew it.
But all judges followed what the producers wanted them to say, I lost respect for Keith as a fair judge with conviction (have no respect for other judges even before this).
