VIA PRESSPARTY:

The vocal powerhouse parted ways with RCA earlier this year due to "creative differences", with the label said to have been wanting the singer to work on an 80s covers record.

Hope his new label knows how to market him to the world as he should be. Airplay for him should be a given. Hoorray for album #3!!!

Those people just did not appreciate the treasure they had. Some may live to regret the small support of this talented man.

One exciting thing after another. Can't wait to find out about a new label.

OT: Exciting news. Adam's Glee video of "Merry The Night" has reached over "One Million Views" as of this PM; congratulations, Adam & congratulations fans.

Vocal powerhouse is so appropriate to describe Adam in a time when so many singers are auto-tuned or lip synching their way through a performance. MTN just proves what his loyal fans have know all along: that he is one amaaaaazing singer and has a mesmerizing stage presence. I would love to see Gaga and Adam perform this song together on an awards show in the future. I think it would blow the roof of the stage.

This tonsorial tornado Adam Lambert is:

Dignified
Imposing
Striking
Majestic
Stately
Noble
Magnificent
Splendid
Impressive
Regal

Just trying to come up with some adjectives that I haven't heard to describe our guy when he isn't goofy, cute and nerdy.

They call him a Vocal Powerhouse, I call him a Tonsorial Tornado.

@4:26 PM

I like that; "Tonsorial Tornado", I never heard that before. I think that you have just coined a phrase. If you did; everytime you hear it, you should feel very proud. I know that I will use it to praise our very rare Tonsorial Tornado. Thanks.

Very clever @4:26. Is that your original phrase? I like it.

JAK here......I'm hoping his new label will understand a little better that Adam doesn't fit neatly in one specific category or genre and that can be a good thing. I believe RCA recognized his talent but didn't know just where to place him. He's not a typical rock star, he's not a typical pop star, he's not a typical anything.

He's an original and has to define himself. If he can do it all, let him. Most serious music lovers can be adaptable .
We can be wrung out with emotion listening to WWTLF or TFM, OOL or Underneath, Nirvana or Soaked.
We can dance with joy at IIHY, Kickin In, etc. and we can rock to Sleepwalker, Music Again, Lay Me Down, etc.

I think he is being very careful in picking a label that he can have a meeting of the minds with.....someone willing to be innovative and take a chance of flying with Adam into his music future .
