No doubt adam can be a great actor if he is given an opportunity to show his talent.He is natural on screen and easy for the eye.my dream to see adam tackle classic musical movie such as les meserable/phantom of opera.he got charisma and perfect wearing 3 piece sut with top hat.

Oh my goodness...Adam gave the performance of his life...A***! He did so well because he's pretty much doing himself like he said, in his younger days. His acting is so natural as if he was just talking to Kurt. I like Santana at the end, perhaps she meant it for real because it came off as genuine, no acting required. lol! I like the floor twerk lol! Adam has given a new perspective to acting out a song; perhaps hopefully, people will now understand what Adam was doing at the AMA; like I've always maintained, acting out a song like what he is doing with MTN; and to be judged as just that. This video is going to hit the max.

Oh Starchild didn't just chuck the top-hat; he also chucked the mic at the end lol! Perhaps he also invented a new move called The Chuck! lol! I think Adam hit those high G++ again. lol! I saw Saturday Night Fever, many many moons ago; Adam should be in a movie of this genre...pop rock musical.

I've still to find a full performance of the whole episode on line, I have found a couple of links on MJs but they didn't work for me. I'll get there though.

I thought he was ooooo perfect! Not only were his vocals so amazing but I was extremely impressed with his acting...very natural, not awkward at all. He seemed totally comfortable with his role....and that smile of his in the scene with Kurt in the coffeeshop. I just melted. Adam is incredibly handsome to top it off...when they say "the whole package" Adam's got it 110%. I can't wait to see future episodes.

I said FYE fit the Starchild scene better than Marry The Night, in a previous comment. I think the Glee director did the right thing and perhaps Adam had a say in the song choice. MTN fits the scenario better since this episode has NY as the background story; I heard Adam sing the name NY in MTN. Not only that, MTN is less 'aggressive'. But FYE is still my favourite of the two.

The strange thing about Adam's saga in his quest for acceptance in the entertainment industry, is that he has always been great. We all knew that the first time we saw him on Idol. But then some people said that Idol was just a singing contest and not the real deal. It took being on Glee to make Adam's talent legit. Thank God Adam never gave up. He's had so many doors slammed in his face mostly by haters based on ignorance. Adam is here to stay. All naysayers better step aside.
It's your time in the spotlight Adam and your life will never be the same. You are right where you should be - the king of the world!

Adam was amazing on Glee..his voice.his acting his everything but I also have to admit I love seeing him in the heavy eyeliner and glam mode...

Hopefully all the new viewers to Glee last night will realize what his loyal fans have known from day one....what an amazingly talented and charismatic performer he is. He just stole the show with MTN. Can't wait to see him back on Glee again. Adam and the NYC storyline line are the only things that would keep me watching this show. The Lima high school glee club plot is boring and so repetitious. Will should become principal and Sue should just be forced to retire and end the show there. The NYC plot could become a new series, but we all know what happened with Smash trying to develop the Broadway musical last season. There is only a very limited audience for that kind of show(although I did watch it since I love Broadway musicals).

@5:49, I wasn't crazy about the show last night for the very reasons you pointed out. Adam's performance of Marry The Night was great, but the two story lines seemed disjointed. I agree, the NYC story should be a separate series with more camera time for each character. There are so many people in the cast now, that character development has come to a halt. If Adam and Demi are new members on the show, then they out to be allowed enough dialogue to develop their roles or why even bother.

Of course, I loved every second of it all. But what I love most is that viewers of Glee who don't follow Adam got to see two sides of him. They got to see a campy, over the top performance, done exquisitely I might add. But they also got to see the Adam who looks like a regular person and who can actually ACT. I loved that scene in the coffee shop with Kurt. Adam came across so natural and relaxed, not artificial or forced or amateurish. For those who doubted his ability to act, I think our fears are unfounded. I think he is getting lots of great press for both his singing and his acting. Let's hope it leads to new opportunites!!!

This must be a mistake; Darren Criss, one of the big stars of Glee complimenting Our Adam; remember, this never happens (as some have falsely claimed); only Adam does the ass kissing; according to a few crass people on this site, before his Glee appearance.

So to those uninformed and just wrong statements, by some; I ask, does this mean that Darren Criss is kissing Adam's ass; and Nancy Sinatra, and Johnny Wier, and so many other non-stop accolades that are flooding the media and twitter feeds since Adam's debut on Glee? It seems as though a lot of ass kissing is now coming Adam way by your criteria. seems as though Adam is not the only one. kissing ass", as some are always saying.

Saying this kind of unintelligent crap about Adam everytime this kind, intelligent man compliments someone. Well, it's an ignorant and insulting accusation and a big lie and just plain stupid; in my opinion, it really should stop!

In life; usually you reap what you sow; and Adam is reaping the fruits of all the kindness, hard work heartfelt accolades he has been bestowing on others. But that "saying", also includes making stupid remarks, everytime this grown man compliments someone.

Let Adam handle his personal life; and he and his management handle his professional life; they are all doing it quite well. We as fans should just enjoy the fruits of this talented and humble man's labor.

Last night, our dear man knocked it out of the ball park. Loved, it. Just can't stop watching it. Love him so much. Adam's talent is hard to describe in human terms.

Adam's performance was perfect as usual. However, I found watching the show painful. It was the first time I watched Glee and I am not sure I will watch again. I am very much a fan of Adam's and wish him well no matter what he does. I would like to see him come out with new songs and get back on stage for some concerts. Please don't bash me for having an opinion that is not the same as most others. I know Glee has won awards and is popular with many but felt the show was too juvenile for my taste. I will watch his performances but not the whole show.

What a talented guy our BB is. There's not enough adjectives anymore to adequately describe this gorgeous but humble man. Yes, he can act, he can sing ( like no other), he can DJ, he can speak articulately, he gives from his heart and he inspires other people with his acceptance and tolerance of others...plus he's he's got a razor sharp sense of humor and his good looks....Thud. I'm so grateful Adam is part of my life! Congratulations, Adam on a spectacular debut.

Please people, stop going on other sites and say you are only watching the terrible or ridiculous show because of Adam. There are a ton of Gleeks and Demi fans loving Adam right now. Please don't offend their show or idol and alienate potential new fans of Adam. You can compliment Adam without mentioning how much you don't like the show or that adam is the only good thing there.

why hasn't anyone pitched a variety show to Adam Lambert. He could change costumes, do comedy skits and sing with other entertainers. Seacrest could get onboard and produce. I mean this would be television gold. Lambert should give it thought in the future.

Glee wouldn't have been signed to two more seasons if there weren't people who like it. Why is it so hard for people to say they don't like something instead of saying it is terrible. That's like people saying Adam is terrible when plenty of us love him. Different tastes for different people.

Sonny and Cher was a ratings hit. It probably made a big impact on their record sales and career. I don't say that it could be done again, but I think Adam could pull it off. The reality singing shows are running their coarse. I think there should be something new and fresh. Have a singing show with comedy and great artists.

No, I think people are over variety shows. What I think would be interesting is a reality show. If Kesha can get one, I don't know why Adam couldn't. He's always working with famous people, going to celebrity events, etc. It's just a thought. No,I'm not trying to dictate what he should do with his career. Just thinking.

I find it so funny (and awful) that so many here bash the show (Glee); Most people commenting here regularly (myself incl.) are of "more mature age" and therefore agewise do not belong to Glee's main targeted audience... and therefore should not badmouth the show... It's not written for people of our age! So please just enjoy Adam and if you don't like the show, maybe keep it to yourself...

I am of "mature age" and I love "juvenile" Glee and I love Adam Lambert.. I just ignore the inconsistent storylines and am just interested in some of the Glee characters.... Kurt is my favorite and I was pleasantly surprised with the scene between Kurt and Starchild in the diner... still hoping that some bromance/rivalry relation will develop between the two... Just like Kurt and Rachel... Axel
