wow I thought it was a fun video but didn't realize it was that popular. I am glad Demi and Adam are doing it on GLEE now.

Adam will love playing dress-up. :)

I don't think Demi or Adam will have to stretch their vocals on this one. I assume this is a tongue in cheek one.

Anonymous said...

I'll click on it when Adam is doing the singing.

This song reminds me a tiny bit of Queens "Radio Gaga", and Adam has the audience repeating after him silly sounds. The audience loved it, and quite willingly followed Adam along.

Anonymous said...

The song must already be done, if they are releasing it on Dec 3rd.
I would think that a younger audience would pick up on this, the sort of song you can give to a child or grand child, as well as adults loving it. Good party music for mixed age groups. I can just hear everyone joining in on "what the Fox says"
Funny , I could never in my wildest dreams imagine Adam writing a song like this, and yet it is over the top popular.

I hope Adam and Demi will be given the chance to shine equally.
Call me weird, but, I love this song; think how much I will love it with Adam's vocal's on it; what did the fox say?

Anne Marie said...

I think Riff, will love it, as well as his parents.

Well, Glee is sure striking while the iron is hot on this one. I'll bet the Glee version is get lots of views, too! And our Adam will be front and center, just where we want him! This is silly and crazy and cute, and Adam will put a little sexy spin on it. Can't wait to see in on Dec. 3.

on ep. 9, Adam and Kurt will be singing "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" by Darkness..oh my, does this mean that they are attracted to each other, or that just Adam may be attracted to Kurt??? name of ep. is "Frenemies"..

Anonymous said...

I so hope that ep. 9 will not signal the end of Adam's run on Glee..I NEED MORE ADAM - LIKE NOW!!!!

The song is hugely popular and hilarious. They were a surprise performance at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas in Sept. and it was funnier than hell. Not to be taken seriously ....and just enjoyed for what it is... The first time I heard it..I thought "What the...???" You just have to go with the flow..and enjoy :)) It's rather like "Gangnam Style"..you just can't help but secretly like it if you give it a chance...

Here's the vid from iHeart..you can see that people were really enjoying it (as was I..). Pretty sure that's what's going to be happening on Glee: people having a ball watching.. And I can hardly wait to see and hear Adam having fun with this one!

Always something to look forward to with Adam. Please keep the good news coming. Can't wait for this song. The cover is going to be fantastic; I can feel it.

Anonymous said...

I hope Adam is front and center with Demi on this.

Anonymous said...

I don't know what the fox would say; but, I say, bring Adam and Demi on!

Anonymous said...

I wonder if Adam's version will come off sexy; even if he does not try; I don't know.

Anonymous said...

Am I the only person on the planet that doesn't think there is anything special about that song? I get that it's a parody, but it's not even that funny.

Anonymous said...

Some of you seem to be missing what goes on in popular culture. The comedian brothers did the song with a top hit making production team as a joke for their tv show. They never intended for the song to go anywhere and are surprised that it went viral. It's not a song for children. The song has been on the Billboard charts for weeks now and is an international hit. Many people think it's fun. The brothers have been all over the place performing the song, on shows like Ellen and Fallon. There is nothing wrong with Glee doing a fun international hit song. It's bound to be something people want to see and Adam will be involved. I really don't get the negativity and condescension by people in this site regarding Adam doing this song. Loosen up and have some fun with "the young people."

Did anyone see that the fox,in the end,"said"something completely different than the boys in the entire song?Anyway,an adorable and silly song but very catchy(IMO).I am sure Adam will be wonderful!

Sour grapes said the fox (Aesop's fables).

Lea Michele tweeted this picture of herself, Adam, Chris Colfer, and Naya Rivera with their puppets..apparently they'll be using them on the show..Hearing it will be accompanying The Fox performance...

Adam's puppet is green.. which reminds me of Kermit's song "It's Not Easy Being Green" :)) An homage perhaps to "It's not always easy being Adam..."...

This is an international hoot.
Demi is fortunate to be singing with Adam. Still think of her as a Disney kid.

Is This a Joke? Has adam career become a joke...I'm done!

Anonymous said...

No - it means Adam is part of the "In Crowd" of celebrities.
It's a good thing. He will be seen as a person of various talents. Again, it's a good thing!.....JAK

Anonymous said...

Yea, people forget Glee is shown in different parts of the world.

glitzylady said...

@Anon 3:06 PM
Adams career is hardly a "joke"...He's appearing on Glee (you know, that popular worldwide TV show..), and they do a wide variety of past and present music, all hits. This is but one of many songs that the cast ...and Adam will do on the episodes he'll be on.

Not a joke at all, just fun... But if you think you're done, just because he's participating in this performance of this hugely popular and entertaining song, that's up to you.

***New music next year***...just sayin'... :)))

Glee airs in:

Glee has been syndicated for broadcast in many countries worldwide, including Australia [80] It also airs in Canada,[81] New Zealand,[82] Israel[83][84] and Fiji.[85] It is broadcast in South Africa, where Fox beams the episodes directly to the M-Net broadcast center in Johannesburg rather than delivering the tapes.[86] In addition, it airs in the United Kingdom,[87] where E4 broadcast the first two seasons, showing episodes months after they were first aired in the US. Sky1 broadcast the series starting with the third season, airing episodes two days after their US broadcast.[88] The series also airs in Italy—a week later than the US broadcast, and dubbed into Italian—and in Finland and Lithuania.[89] In Ireland, most episodes premiere twenty hours after their US broadcast, making it the European Premiere. Episodes in Ireland air on TV3 and its sister channel 3e.[90] Asian countries that broadcast Glee include Bangladesh,[91] the Philippines,[92] Taiwan,[93] India,[91] Malaysia,[94] Singapore[95][96] Indonesia and Japan. The show began airing in Brazil (for the first time in a non-cable network) on July 2, 2011, on the Rede Globo network.[97] Glee also airs in the Middle East and Persian Gulf

Trolling is so easy here. Look at all the quick and lengthy replies :)

Anonymous said...

Sometimes, it's not trolls, just the truth. I'm not the one that commented about Adam's career becoming a joke, but Glee certainly has become one. The high school segments are so poorly written that it's cringe worthy. The NYC story is not as bad. I used to like the show, but not anymore. I'm only watching the ones that feature Adam.

glitzylady said...

Just a thought: Adam is on Glee...for a few episodes as far as we know so far. Whether you like or watch Glee, I think it's a pretty AWESOME thing that Adam is on the show. Too bad some feel the need to diminish his accomplishment by slamming the show. Sorry, but that's my opinion. Everyone else is welcome to express yours... :/

glitzylady said...

Sorry, I was probably a little harsh but I really wish we could focus on the positive elements of Adam's association with Glee and on the high points of the show as well.

I watched it for up until last season or so and while I agree that the HS plot lines are pretty lame at times, and they always have been to be honest, there are still a lot of good points and lessons hidden within the body of the scripts. And the performances have always been the best part of the show anyway :)).

Hoping to see increasing NYC story lines as the show goes along, until it's conclusion at the end of next season.. In the meantime, I'm excited for Adam, and for us fans who enjoy seeing him on our TV's again.

I'm not sure Glee wouldn't have been better off had they let the graduates graduate and be off the show. They should have left the show to being only high school in Lima. Then the viewers would be able to accept new cast members and a normal progression of school life.

Anonymous said...

glitzylady, this is 4:06. I hate to say that about the show because I used to love it. But I don't mean to diminish Adam for being on it. I think it's good for him. He's getting good publicity. They have had a lot of big stars on it, and I thought he was great last week. I'll definitely watch the episodes he will be on.

Anonymous said...

I would guess that lots of up-and-coming singers would love to have a chance to be on Glee. It's broadcast worldwide and still has decent ratings in the millions. I would diminish the positive impact that this opportunity has had for Adam in the last few weeks. Like the show or not, it's great promotion. Adam is joining a list of big names who have guest-starrred on it. That's a good thing.

Every comment from people I heard love New York and want it all in New York. They say the high school part has just run its course. Heard criticism for the high school part but they really like New York. Heard quite a few comments saying they loved Adam and Demi.
They said the new people don't work I have no idea who there talking about. Do not know who new or old never watched before Adam.
It looks like they are all going to NY next year. But every comment really liked Adam.
It's not me what I read in several review comments. Sue

If you don't like the show anymore fine. If you think it's a joke that's your opinion.
Adam guess staring on it following a trail of big stars that also have done that.
That certainly by no means qualifies Adam's career as a joke no fan would have said that.
I certainly do believe that do be a troll remark.
Adam was wonderful on that show last week and it certainly gave his career a boost.
I was not crazy about the high school part but over all the show was good with great musical numbers. I enjoyed it. Adam was absolutely terrific and he gained new young fans that's a win win for Adam. Sue

This song is sh.... but Adam can't make any choices. This is producers' ideas. But they will sing many other songs including Madonna's song. Check the amazon.com Glee December 3rd release.

Anonymous said...

@4:06 My thoughts too.

Anonymous said...

Glee is priviledged to have Adam on the show and hey, I'm back watching because his there.

Songs an international crazed hit.

Anonymous said...

Glee is indeed shown all over the world so at least international fans get to see Adam in all his glory.

I don't car how many views this song has....its still a shit song!!!

@Anon 4:06 PM
I know what you were saying.. and have to agree for the most part. My family and I used to watch Glee every week, and sometimes the various character "stories" were a little "interesting", and occasionally a bit bizarre ie Glee Teacher Will Schuester's first wife's fake pregnancy storyline... which was a real head-scratcher, and eye-roller.. and just plain nuts. But the music has always been top notch. So it was fairly easy to just go with the flow :)) But there have also been some truly wonderful story lines as well. Sooo, I'll be watching this season to see where this all goes, and with Adam on board that Glee-style **Crazy Train**, even occasionally, I'm there for sure!!!

When are people going to take ownership of their opinions? You may not like The Fox, that doesn't make it a shit song. There are people who don't like Adam's songs. Would you rather they say Adam's songs are shit or that they don't like them personally? What is your favorite thing in the world? It sucks. Doesn't matter what it is, with your way of thinking I get to declare things as shit.

Hi glamberts! I watched adam on glee .Loved the way they included the adam's introduction part along with marry the night performance! I will watch glee,no matter which song he is going to sing.I am really happy that glee season 5 is being aired in many countries including mine:) Hope he is on glee for more episodes. That would be great exposure.......india glambert:)

I do take ownership of my opinions....and my opinion is that its a shit song.....
If you don't agree thats fine too, we're all entitled to our opinions.
And whilst I may not like people calling Adams songs shit, and certainly don't understand it (!!!) or agree, they are totally within their right to think it and say it....
I wouldn't particularly like them to go posting it all over an Adam fan site mind you, but I would also not go posting my views over this singers fansite or youtube either.

If something comes from Scandinavia it is always shit here, you should read from their cultural differencies. Example Norways culture is very interesting and land is beautiful, people are nice.... Come and travel here, summers are short, sometimes warm and winters are long and cold.

Anonymous said...

a shit song- but adam lambert can make this song nice-unique with adma lambert voice.

HK fan said...

@5.41am
I didn't even know they were from Scandinavia until you said...
and if you mean here as in the US...I wouldn't know as I'm not from there, I'm European....and its not true after all you gave us Alexander Skarsgard!!!!

Anonymous said...

I guess all the muppets with his owner will sing this wtf say.such a strange song to sing.

glitzylady said...

@Anon 5:41 AM
I'm not sure why you would make that kind of statement about people's attitudes "here" (do you mean here on this blog??? Or???). I don't know anyone here on this blog, or for that matter anywhere else who would be negative toward Scandanavians or their culture. Just curious to know why you would say that.. Heck, my hubby is Norwegian (we live in the US) and our dear Adam is part Norwegian too. :)) and I sooo agree with @HK Fan: thank you Scandanavia for Alexander Skarsgaard (True Blood)!!!

glitzylady said...

And I just want to add, I hope you feel welcome here.

Anonymous said...

Then say I think it's shit.

People here are so rude about their opinions. I wonder if they are this unpleasant in real life too.

Anonymous said...

@11:13, probably not in real life. Their friends and family wouldn't tolerate it. They come here so they can spew and vent anonymously.
Sometimes I don't like the rude manner in which people state their opinions on this site, but I do like the anonymous posting on here. I think it makes it easier to give honest opinions. But some folks don't even want to hear a respectful honest opinion if it differs from their own. I think that's definitive of a closed mind.

Anonymous said...

I've thought a lot about "The Fox" since I heard it on Iheart concert.
I think the song is ironic and funny. Adam has a great sense of humor and likes different/new songs so I think it will be great. I love Demi as well therefore looking forward to hearing what they do with this song. With those two, you can't go wrong.........nancdruuu2

Anonymous said...

Maybe they use these puppet figures (Green Adam etc) to film this song - Adam & Demi plus the rest just doing the voices...
