Oh, I think homophobic people can admire Adam's voice and yet they still disapprove of him. They probably feel guilty. But people evolve and sometimes their better selves become aware that we really aren't here to judge each other.....JAK

As for my experience, I have found that homophobic people cannot and will not admire or listen to Adam's music. I have tried so many times with my own family and friends (believe me, they ARE homophobic Bible Belt Christians. It is a rarity for Bible Belt Christians to love and understand homosexual people. It is ingrained in them as a child that homosexuality IS A SIN! I used to be that way, but Adam changed me. I could never go back to my old hateful Christian ways of which I was taught as a young person. But, my case is very unusual. I want to believe in people and that goodness can overcome evil, but the "Duck Dynasty" crowd will probably hate to their dying days. Life can be so wonderful but so unfair. Religion can be a real scourge-many wars have been fought over it. Written by an enlightened Glambert that has totally changed her way of thought!
7:23, Adam does have a segment of fans who don't want to see or be reminded that he is gay. Almost worse to me because their bigotry is hidden.
People can change. But years of brain washing is hard to overcome. Be careful what you teach your children.
Anon 7:23 - SO glad you have become an "enlightened Glambert". There have been many times people have written how Adam has changed their views (for the good!) about gays. Welcome to our world of open-minded and loving 'real' fandom.
