Whoa! That's quite a heavenly house...Yea, just like my story...Psychobert's morning ritual is, sing to the hills; the hills are alive with the sound of Adam's music. Hey Kindred, what do you say...my story which you like so much, has come to fruition. As my story goes...the 'villagers' will file up the mountain trail to visit him. lol!

There were a whole lot of comments re this topic when I was last here. ^O^

I'm not impressed. Except for the hills, looks like my backyard, even trees and plants. Take a hint, move to southern east coast of the country Adam.

@8:53PM Finally, somebody agreed with me about this house. This house isn't even close to "palace". Most of the rooms remind me the train or mobile home. This property has small swimming pool and nice view. But it definitely doesn't worth this money. Also, the acreage on the hills appraised less usually

That is a beautiful house. Looks very private. Nice saltwater swimming pool. Just a little out of my price range ;)

Psychobert's house on the mountain in my imagined scenario was a lot humbler, not so luxurious; almost cave-like with a winding mountain trail, more the Dracula type. lol! And Psychobert would sing to the villagers who loved him dearly when they trudged up the mountain trail. But this real one is far from cave-like. Oh but the cave-door could only be opened by a magic electro-magnetic dagger which he hangs on his side. lol! So it's quite modern in terms of sensors technology. lol! Okay from fiction to fact...hope Adam buys this house.

On the less appetising aspect...I am wary of snakes, centipedes, tarantulas, lizards that crawl into the house, also mosquitoes...unnerving to me. :)

I wouldn't knock back this house. If it's in prime real estate territory & ultra private, it's probably worth the $$$. However, it's what ADAM likes that matters, not what we like. He'll probably look at a number of properties & perhaps buy one that's not been made public knowledge.

Palace? They run for 50-60 million. That's a right price for that house in HW Hills.

I just heard LMD on abc new show Mixology promo. Sounded great.

LOL at the people who can't admit it's a nice house even if it's not their personal taste.

I think adam just laugh his ass off.dont think this the kind of house he looking for.He wont leak his dream house to public.just somebody wants to get free publicity using his name.

A lot of things are mostly hearsay; so we just play along with it, having some fun. lol! The only true ones are those that come directly from Adam. I only believe those fully and the rest just toss them to the wind with a bit of ajinomoto, hot chilli, curry-powder, lots of pepper to make people sneeze and generous pinches of salt, also oil fried batter that puffs up to conceal the not so palatable morsels. lol!

How did info leaked out beats me. When is adam entittled to his privacy?

Anonymous said...

11:28, this info may have been leaked when the listing agent tweeted Adam about his open house. But it is not uncommon for information about the houses celebrities look at or buy to be leaked to the media and internet. Look at any celebrity website or magazine.

It's a very nice house. Remember he is a bachelor, looks like he could have some parties, without bothering the neighbors. When I saw the pictures of it, it is very private. Adam is living in a 1 bed condo now, so I am sure he would love something bigger, and a lot more private. I would love it myself, but a bit too private for me, I enjoy my neighbors.

I wouldn't want to live there by myself, way too lonely. Would definitely want someone to share it with me. Loads of rooms, this house is built for more than one person.

Beautiful landscaping, a giant closet, granite counters, a pool and a view? I'll take it.

Anonymous said...

2.4 million for that

Now on closer look, I don't think Adam should buy this house. It's a bit too overpowered by trees all around; but perhaps it's not so when one is there. From a distance, it gives the feeling, the trees block off the sunlight and it might render the interior cold, damp and dark. Again, can't really tell from a photograph; has to be there to feel the surroundings. Also these trees seem old, may collapse in gusty winds. Perhaps, that's why it's advertised using Adam's picture to lure buyers. lol! Not belittling the property, as I've said, needs to be there; maybe the trees are quite far off as opposed to what I see as almost enveloping the house.

we know Adam looked at this house due to the agents tweet..
But that doesn't mean he's buying it, he;ll probably look at loads...maybe his mum can help him now she is a realtor (is that the right word in the US?)
Its a beautiful house, with a very private garden....I wouldn't say no to it....you could fit every one of my bedrooms in the closet!! And it certainly doesn't look dark and damp in the photos...
Don't know why the article calls it a panty-dropping palace though..why would Adam want a panty dropping place???

Anonymous said...

@3:09AM...'cause he likes panty-dropping scene? lol.

Anonymous said...

3:09, that's what they call all the houses on that site.

This is a lovely contemporary-casual style home that fits right in with the southern California landscape. Those saying it's not worth the money know very little about prime real estate prices in Los Angeles. Well located properties in L.A. are VERY expensive.

Yes Lam-my this was a surprise for me, a really big house when you are used to live in a much smaller place.
It must feel like walking in the air
going through rooms with a lot of space around:)))I can see him singing there already:)Kindred

Hey Kindred!
My telepathy Finn love call works again. Not bad that Adam is looking at this luxurious range of houses even if he's not buying this particular one. Thanks for answering my call...I am calling you..oo..uu. This is an old song...Indian Love Call. Perhaps Adam can call to the hills...someone might call back. lol! :)

Not a bad house, it is actually nice.
Went to the site and got a new info, leila lambert now a trained realtor, great news! Nice to know that she isn't the lazy sit at home celebrity mums that live off their kids.
With her knowledge, she def. Will help adam pick a SUITABLE house, except adam is stubborn...(he sure looks like he is) hahaha

When buying Hillside homes in LA one should consider to check for hill slide or land shift which it happens when there is a flood rain season. Also too much trees and vegetations can be fire hazard during our dry seasons. Like this year. My husband is a developer and he gives advise if houses on hills have potential of shift due to mud slide caused by our sometimes severe storm rain. The house is very nice and private.

Prefacing comments by saying I know this is completely none of my beeswax, but what does a single man with a schedule like his need to spend this kind of money on a house for? He could save a cool million if he wants to buy the same type house on Florida's gulf coast. Way more private and beautiful and he could start a trend. Being a frugal star would be something to look up to instead of reckless spending like there's no tomorrow. He flies everywhere anyway. A million dollars could buy a lot of plane tickets. Just a thought.

Hopefully wherever Adam decides to buy a house, it will be in an area where he can have privacy. I do not know anything about Hollywood Hills, but if Leila is in real estate, she will help Adam make a wise choice.

Anonymous said...

This i believe is a good decision! Buying a house (if you can afford it) is better than renting one.
I really hope he picks this or a better one.
On a different note, i dont envy adam (celebrities) nothing is private, it must be so annoying!

Anonymous said...

Adam, please buy the house and lemme give ya a nice house warming party (for two)!
I hope it is a quiet area as i am very loud...when the 'party' starts, if you know what i mean.
Give me a call

Anonymous said...

justpeachy, think about the commute times alone. If Adam continues to do some TV shows that is several hours traveling each way. That can be exahausting plus time is money to him. Also, all of his friends are in LA. I can you think of several more reasons why it is impractical or undesirable but I'll leave it at those two.

Here we go again

This place is only few minutes from where he is now. Close to Downtown, BH, and not too far from the beach. It's nice to be close to the city and yet live in a quiet private home. Buying a home is an investment and certainly better than paying rent. Home prices are rising here in LA. Specially in prime locations.

Exactly: perfect location.. Close to WeHo, Sunset Blvd, reasonable time to downtown LA, studios, Lots of celebs living in the Hollywood Hills, many homes with security gates, security cameras.

Heck, I'd be happy to live there too!! Well, obviously in a different house :)))

Anonymous said...

He will definitely be lonely all by himself.

Anonymous said...

@justpeachy - Hi there! I know what you mean about the expensive prices in Adam's area, but I suppose it's because the area is where he calls "home" and being a single guy, would like to be close by to friends and family so if they give him a call and want to go somewhere together, they're all close by.

When I got married, I moved a half hour away to a different city and thought that was traumatic. What a big baby, huh? :)

Anonymous said...

@12:21 - you can be all by yourself and not be lonely.

Anonymous said...

1:12 and in a crowd and lonely as hell.

The furnishings in this house are a nightmare. It would have shown better had it been "styled." Anyway... Leila's going to have a ball decorating it IF Adam buys it.
