I guess this is great news for all of them, but all I ever really wished for Adam was that he be able to make a living doing what he loves....singing.

That wish has come true. The amount of $$$$$$$$$ is of no interest to me........JAK

This money thing is getting way more mileage than it deserves.

Please give the hits to the Yahoo vid in the link in the tweet rather than to the fan copy on youtube.

It is important to always give the hits to the original source so they see that stories involving Adam get more attention.

I am so happy for Adam. The best is yet to come.

I think it's great this story is getting so much mileage. More people will see Adam tied at third. Keeps Adam in the public eye.

It is great that Adam is the highest earning non-winner.

Is this a race?

6:25, it is. You better get going.

6:22, Good point about Adam being the only non-winner in the top five.

What amount of cash is a guarantee for a happy life?

Chris Daughtry who came 5th in this poll wasn't a winner - he came 4th in his Idol year.

Chris Daughtry seems like a nice guy; I remember him on Idol. Congratulation to our singing BB. listening to Red House right now.

It's good to know Adam has been doing well, and for those who see the article and remember Adam but don't know he's still out there, working... it's nice to refresh people's memories. And to let them know he's successful.

Money isn't everything, but I'm certainly VERY happy for Adam that he's able to pay his bills...and feel secure financially. Any more than that is a (really NICE!!) bonus..

Glitzylady: I absolutely agree with you that even though Adam seems to be doing well financially, most people don't know what he has been doing careerwise. I have several friends who just recently said something to me about "that guy you liked on Idol" and what is he doing. After I clued them in, I sent them several videos of Adam's recent events/appearances and mentioned Glee. Let's hope that 2014 will be the year where most people will remember his name and his new music.

U go Adam!!!

6:22, agreed, it is good for people to see him tied for third behind Kelly and Carrie.

Adam would probably prefer that his income is not out there for everyone to know, but this news puts to rest any doubts about whether Adam is still a relevant artist and has a viable career. While his fans cannot place a price on Adam's worth (it's priceless), quantifying and ranking the dollar value of a celebrity is newsworthy practice of Forbes magazine. From the standpoint of American Idol, which claims the cachet of the only reality singing competition show to produce legitimate stars, this aspect has a compelling publicity value.

I never got the impression that Daughtry was a nice guy on Idol....my best Idol moment ever was watching his face when his name was announced to be eliminated.....
Sorry for any daughtry fans out there....but he always came across as so up himself...Him and jennifer Hudson.
