Boo! Maybe they feel the South East would not be reseptive.

I'm on my feet giving a standing ovation for these needed additional concerts.

I want to say a big THANK YOU to PRS for giving me a head's up on this early this morning (I completely spaced it, was totally not on my radar) ... and to PRS & Glitzylady for having the most pertinent information right at my fingertips. Of course I jumped online and hunted up the addt'l relevant information myself also, but the info that they furnished me immediately was priceless. Thanks ladies.

Snagged two tix to TD Garden, not great seats, but as PRS said to me, any seat to see Queen + Adam Lambert is a good seat!! Truer words were never spoken. (And the cost was very reasonable & manageable, so glass half full :)).

Good Luck to any and all trying for tix to the added shows.

Have a good week everone.

yay! way to go Toronto!! It's a big arena, hope they can fill it twice.
For me, double the slim chance of spotting Adam shopping : )
If Madison Square Gardens can do a second show, I'd try to go. Otherwise I'm more than pleased (insanely freaking out) with my one ticket.

@AG - If you ever visit comments sections here anymore... Girl, two shows in CT & One is Boston - I hope you're able to catch at least one of them. Fingers Crossed. Hope all is well neighbor :).

Lucky people on the east coast! I'm very happy for them and hope those who didn't have good luck first time round will now!

I'm not complaining here on the west coast ......got tix for 3 of the shows out here ( not the very best seats but good enough and I needed to stretch the budget as much as possible!) I cannot wait for July to get here:))))))

Good luck to all who are trying for tickets to the added venues.

Awesome!!! I would have loved another West Coast show, but I understand they go where the highest demand is. This is great news, and I am extremely happy for Brian, Roger, and Adam.

@MGF
Yay! That you got tickets!

And our mutual friend PRS is correct: Any seat is amazing when we're talking Queen plus Adam Lambert. I was in the rafters, far from the stage, at iHeart LV, and just BEING there, and hearing that iconic music live, with Adam's voice coming at me from all of those massive speakers, surrounding us with his incredible voice, was just simply the event of a lifetime.. I wasn't sure at that point in time if there would ever be another chance to see and hear them sing together live, so I was willing to take whatever I could get..

And now we have these concerts where we can hear a full show.. perhaps for the last time ever (for Queen to tour on a scale this big..), so yes, just being there, anywhere, in the venue, is more than good!!!

yes Mohegan Sun!!!!

Wish they had picked up a couple of cities not near the existing concerts. Some of us can't afford to travel to multiple shows. One concert within a couple hours of me would have been wonderful. Oh well :(

Anonymous said...

Perhaps some of the decisions for locale is due to the traveling. These new ones are clumped together. Not as tiring for Brian and Roger.

Your not gonna get 50 dates. Queenbert can't play everywhere. Shut up and stop complaining you whiny little babies.

@11:53 Your what? Your sweater?
It's you're (as in, you are) - makes your comment sound kind of dumb.

Anonymous said...

11:53, your rudeness is so tiring. If don't like people wishing they could see a concert then scroll.

Anonymous said...

Do not comment on 11:53 . . she will stay here 24/7 just to try to get us to answer or argue. . Let's just scroll and be happy we will get to see Q & A.

Tickets for the previously announced dates are on sale now.

Queen + Adam Lambert received glowing reviews for their performance together at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas last September, triggering a conversation between Adam, Roger and Brian to take the show on the road. Rolling Stone said, “Lambert astounded the audience on songs like ‘We Will Rock You’ and the closing ‘We Are The Champions’ and ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’. It was the most anticipated act of the night.” Billboard claimed, “…Queen effectively stole the show, with timeless songs that music fans of all genres can sing along to” and the Hollywood Reporter exclaimed, “Adam Lambert, Queen bring down the iHeart house. With the perfect mix of rock attitude mixed with style, theatricality, sex appeal and impressive vocal gymnastics, [Lambert] took the band’s music to new heights.”

The threesome first shared the stage during American Idol in May 2009 for a performance of “We Are The Champions”. They teamed up again in 2011 at the MTV European Music Awards in Belfast, Ireland for an electrifying eight-minute finale of “The Show Must Go On”, “We Will Rock You” and “We Are The Champions” and in the summer of 2012, Lambert performed a series of shows with Queen across Europe as well as dates in Russia, Ukraine and Poland. They also performed three sold-out gigs at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.

C'mon Lottery! Since the only way I could go to ANY of these locations would be to fly and I just got laid off for lack of work. *sigh* Oh well, I will still get to "see" them since all of you lovely people make sure to get fabulous vids posted asap. Thanks so much in advance ;)

Hey, MGF nice to "hear" from you. Yes, I'm still here and I did get tickets to Mohegan Sun on the 19th. I'm going with my grown up kids who are actually Queen fans but they do appreciate Adam and put up with my "obsession". We're all so excited! It's bringing back the Cohasset excitement! Like I could ever forget! I might try for Boston now!

Hope all is well with you, too.

HELLO AG

I am so glad I came back to the thread. I haven't opened up any other comments sections on this site, but thought I would quickly try back here. I don't know if you will do the same :), so who knows if you'll get this - but YAY Mohegan Sun on the 19th. I'll be there too, holding up the back wall with the other nosebleed seaters, LOL, but lots of financial considerations in my world and I must be practical! I am just so excited to be there inside the arena at all.

You SHOULD shoot for Boston & The TD Garden, if you haven't already as of reading this. It is 8:17am on Tues 3/25 right now and there ARE STILL decent seats available. I want SO BADLY to go grab one for myself, and put my kids (a tween & a teen who appreciate good music :)) up in the lousy seats I already have, but alas, heavy sigh, the seats I already have are more reasonable, I really need to just let it go :). But you should try to snag some for Boston if circumstances allow!

Anyway, Real Life calls, but nice to "hear" from you as well. Can you even believe we are getting some snow tomorrow?!! I love my New England, but I am sooo over this winter!! I hope the snow is a no show in my area.

Have a good day AG, Take Care,
MGF

Hi MGF! At work now but will answer on this thread tonight. I was just checking this thread also. My seats are probably next to yours near the ceiling in CT. (Ha)

So wish there was at least one concert in driving distance down here in fla? I'm sure queenbert would sell out in Tampa or Orlando. Get lots of videos please

MGF and AG I'm so glad you both get to see Adam & Queen. It's great when two good "friends" can share the same experience. I can't wait for the day to get here so I can see him as well. Adrenaline is rushing through my body at break neck speed. I keep telling myself to calm down, calm down...breathe in, breathe out...but when it comes to something so once in a lifetime, I just can't seem to be still.

Have fun you two.

Dooley

Hey there Dooley ;), what show are you seeing?

MGF

Anonymous said...

Hey MGF, how exciting are the times! Yes, I'm tired of the snow as well and I'm on the So. Shore so we will see how much we get here. I don't think the date for the Boston show will work with my schedule and the CT show just a few days before. The tickets are probably sold out by now anyway. Not sure what to do because of my children's schedules as well. Oh well, we'll see.

As the time gets closer to the 19th show maybe we can figure out a way to connect in CT. Can hardly wait! Take care.

Hi Dooley and thanks!
