Adam Lambert 24/7 News

A little less Freddie and more Lambert would be nice.
It seems to me that tying the pre 1991 band to these 2014 performances is not such a good idea. People new to Queen - a whole generation - might not be impressed.
I thought Brian said in an interview that that was then, this is now. No Freddie holograms and such, no nostalgia.
It's not the tribute band.

I get goosebumps whenever I watch this. I wouldn't mind more Adam either, but I think there's a strategy behind the Freddie footage. It's about the legacy to be honored. Anybody with an open mind should get enough of a taste of Adam to want to see him live.

They need to tie in early performances to bring in long time Queen fans. Why wouldn't young people be impressed? This is about way more than Adam.

Goosebumps, again and again and again and.....well you know what I mean.....

They couldn't possibly do a performance without including Freddie in some way. He WAS the core of Queen. Everyone expects it and deserves it. But giving Adam a platform to shine and do his stuff, too, is why many fans have re-discovered Queen or discovered them for the first time. There's room for a good balance of both these genius singers.

Including Freddie. This is not a tribute show. It is not Queen featuring Freddie Mercury. It's a Queen +Adam Lambert concert. I was and am a Freddie Freak but this isn't Freddie. He is long gone. This is tomorrow and a new band with another great frontman. Viva Queen+ Lambert, a band for today.
