A live band is "always" going to be an important component of a concert performance. Avicii playing prerecorded music is, in fact, selling tickets (which still evades me, YMMV), but it can't beat the energy, improv and chemistry of a live band on stage with a fabulous lead singer. I've gone to see bands I didn't even really like, and once I saw them playing together live, was absolutely hooked. Adam has such a great group of folks around him, people he obviously likes and trusts, and I think that allows him to bring his best game to the stage. Rock on!
@5:38 PM I don't get it either. Maybe it's more of a party atmosphere and there is no obligation to be considerate to the dj. Maybe kind of like a bar with a juke box, like in the olden days while the earth was cooling. Has anyone here been to a dj concert? It also puts bands out of work when all the music is made with a keyboard in a recording studio. As for Adam, I want him to do what he wants to do. Like the song says "one life".
6:33, LOL, kind of like cars put horse and buggies out of business or copy machines put typists and mimeographs out of business. Video killed the radio star.
I don't think a singer and band will ever be replaced! The dj thing kind of reminds me of a woodstock vibe kinda thing. Lot's of screaming young people. You are playing records from all the talented people that you can bring together and getting rich doing it. Great gig if you can get it!!
I think the musical love affair of AML and TJR is an exciting one. It's blossomed over the past 5 years. Their interaction is cute. frisky and down right ferocious sometimes. The yin and the yang. I think more great musical moments will come from these two. Salt and Pepper;;))gotta have one but not without the other.
Rick is a tight drummer. He keeps up with the sexy vibe. Adam has a great chemistry with his band. They all feed off of the sexual energy. Raw sexual energy.
Just hoping Adam will be able to afforf a great band and Music Director for the next era. You just have to watch Shady with Nile and Chic and Adams own band.
In Montana while performing "Chokehold" it was painful to watch how Adam tried to bring them on course.
What ever your opinion about Adam's band, it's totally stupid and unjustified to compare them with Nile R & Chic or the Queen or any band that has been around for decades, have loads more of money & experience and have toured the globe several times! Get a grip, people and quit bashing Adam's band.

I Really like this collage!!! Great job.
If Adam made records like Avici, he would not need a band. Possibly a guitarist. This seems to be the way of the future.
such a happy glamily.
Great group!
Best group ever.
Miss Monte

My favorite is the top right picture. . . . Adamluv
What we all really wish is that Adam could have Queen for his backup band and sing his own music. Wouldn't that be a dream come true?
I miss Isaac! So positive, smiling and energetic guy. Always.
I loved all the drummers Adam has had; but, this drummer in my opinion really suits Adams sexy vibe. He is a great drummer!

@8:38 PM
??? For real? Ha? Isn't Adam a solo artist? Have I been misleaded? He is part of a duo? Like Pet Shop Boys?
I miss Isaac too. He needs to change the band members. Refresh please. They are lacking. He IS a SOLO act ppl.
Love the fact that they change places and are in different order in every pic!
To me that tells about good spirits, playfulness and camaraderie.
I respect the sound guy.

Adam deserves so much better.
