I read somewhere that Adam said he won't be wearing the 'awesome' red jacket in the Queen tour - if they do Dragon Attack. Drat!! I LOVED when he wore that jacket in his Queen performances! However, knowing Adam, he will be wearing some new AWESOME outfits for the new Queen tour, right?!

Caleb can sing okay, but he has no charisma, charm, sex appeal, beautiful voice, wit, style, etc.
I mean no disrespect, but he does not even come close to Adam IMO. I appreciate Jena and Jessica much more..................nancdruuu2

Jena should win AI. She was fabulous. Caleb is great and funny. He doesn't compare to Adam at all in voice, look, and stage but he is a great artist too in his own way. IMO Jena and Caleb should make it to the final.

I have to say both my hubby and I thought Caleb's last song on Idol tonight was fantastic.. ("Still of the Night" by Whitesnake).. He doesn't rock my world like Adam does, but he's very very talented and a true rocker.. And we like him a lot..

All that said, Adam Lambert is a very hard act to follow......

I'm not a major fan of rock music - just Queen (+ Adam!) and a few others.

I'm sorry but this year's Season of idol is meh. No one is exciting enough, they have no stage presence and almost no feelings, comatose.
I put the blame on Harry for his harsh judging early on kept saying most are out of tune, either singing all the way sharp, flat or off note.
Idol was left with is unexciting group, even with Jena and Caleb who are at least looks alive and not singing statues.
Some with great potential and powerhouses were eliminated in Hollywood week and this is what they came up with, almost no stage presence.
At least Jena tries and why she's become a standout out now because she seems to be alive unlike the rest.
Caleb is OK as a rocker but he sings the same way all the time just like PPhilipps sings the same way with any song all the time.
Caleb tried a slow rock with the big song I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing and he failed. For him, it always has to be a fast rock song before he rocks it.
And the judges and Seacrest tries to duplicate the camaraderie of the coaches on the The Voice but it's simply is a total complete failure.
There's no chemistry with the judges' personality.except between Keith and JLo. Add the awkward no rhythm no soul Seacrest trying so hard to stir a bromance with Keith & Harry. BIG FAIL!
I don't even understand how Julianne Hough can take Seacrest as a boyfriend. That guy simply has no rhythm in his body to make one dance step.
Sorry but Idol is a mess this year and with last year's mess of Lazaro and the worst Top 5 last year, Idol is now a footnote to The Voice.

Please, none of Idol contestants this year deserve to be on an Adam Lambert fan site (voicewise, performance skills, charisma & presence, lookwise), just a no no!

Lambert and Johnson could shake up the rock scene. Johnson is an in your face vocalist and the best to come out of Idol in many years. no comparing the two. They could bring rock back into the arena. Music needs that right now. tired of all the sappy production of pop. Let's rock and roll!!!!!

Adam came off of Idol (something that I'm eternally thankful for...), he mentored this year's Idol contestants, two of the top six finalists from this season mentioned that Adam himself during his own season was one of their "favorite Idol moments" ever, recently....

I agree, this is an Adam Lambert fansite, (Don't I know it!!! Been coming here forever to "gush" about and discuss Adam Lambert) but the occasional discussion of someone who has been within Adam's sphere of influence happens.

In the case of Caleb on Idol, I feel mentioning him here is relevant to a certain extent because he is the first one I've seen on the program (and I watch every year) since Adam who could do that particular type of rock music so well. That said, I do feel that Adam is perhaps a little more diverse in his abilities overall to sing a wide variety of genres well. But then again, I don't know that for a fact..Not a judgement against anyone, just what I've observed. I also know that I quite honestly don't have the time to follow another singer like I do Adam! And I have no interest in going to the Idol site to do my "gushing"... Which in the case of my own comment at 10:40 PM, I was merely saying I and my hubby liked Caleb's performance last night a lot. :)))

And by the way, since this IS a site dedicated to Adam, there is inevitably going to be some comparisons being made, of Adam to others. I do like a lot of other singers and performers, and I love music. I just choose to focus on Adam..

And remember, Adam gives kudos to other singers all the time... Seems that he wouldn't mind someone doing the same here. I'm personally not big into dissing other singers tho. So many very talented ones out there.

Since I watched this AML from AI, I forgot everything else he!he! No matter what the news are, my focus is only for my Rock God indeed!!:)

It's not a competition between Adam and Caleb. Adam has a career which is doing well and lots of good stuff coming. I wish him well he the only one out of this miserable season that I can see someone paying to go see. Some good singers but so lackluster.
His strong suit is rock and that's what he seems to sing best. Adam can knock any song out of the park. Has Brian M. Said its not all just about singing it performance, charisma and a lot more Adam still remains the best I ever seen on that show for all that and more. People buzzed about Adam from the minute he was on the show. Why are they just now talking about Caleb at the end yes he been consistent and probably win it we all know the right person does not always do that. He does not do it for me Adam the only musician I have ever cared about that never going to change. I wish him well I hope he wins it but if he does not he will still do fine I am sure if he works very hard at it. It a very hard business the music business he needs to run with it while the iron is hot work hard at it like Adam did. 140 GNT shows and never missed one not all glamour at all hard work. Many ups and downs wonderful fans and nasty people I sometimes think Adam is the toughest man I ever seen with all the BS people out there but he also has had much love. Next couple if years I believe are going to really up Adams already good career good things coming. Adam done as well through the rough times because he much more than a singer can do other things. Such as hosting VH1 Divas and much more. I wish Caleb well I glad he doing well again its no competition Adam way over Idol just goes back every once in a while. I had to go to Austin to get X-rays was not feeling well so did not watch it. Caleb is the only one I been able to stand to watch the whole season and one girl I glad he doing well hope he wins Adam not on the show its not a competition. But Adam the one for me. There is room for more than one rock star in this world he said nice things about Adam so I can only wish him a good career and I mean it . I can't help how I feel about Adam he the only one I dragged myself to see with my health I trying hard to recover to see my rock star Adam L.
