This Radio DJ knows a thing or three about music, and this is what he says about Adam Lambert and four other artists that he feels deserve MUCH more radio play and music sales, based on their talent: imagine that!!! And he and his  station DO play Adam's music!! Thanks Chad and 94.9 FM...

What are you talking about, we have bought all his music. It's the radio who wont play his music.
If he would only have got out some singles in 2013, he could have been on radio, TV and gone on a lengthy tour, with his best of music and some covers. Where was the 100 venues for Trespassing, he didn't do it. His own choice.

Mr. Taylor isn't talking about us fans... He's just as befuddled and frustrated as the rest of us. He is a VERY big fan of Adam's and his station is one of the ones that DOES play Adam's music... Smart man, smart radio station....

It was most likely NOT Adam's choice not to do a big tour supporting his Trespassing album. If you'll recall, Adam had singles out in 2012, and even early 2013, but to minimal to practically non-existant radio play.. Not his choice either... I think you are confused...

What this DJ is saying, is basically WTF??? Why isn't this artist, Adam Lambert, being played on the radio... and why wasn't his music heard?? Why isn't he selling millions of albums??

He's a fan, and he is trying to reach his radio audience and let them know Adam is talented and deserves to be heard...

I appreciate his efforts...

I believe this dj is on a good mission to get "the general public" notice and buy/listen to Adam and the others he mentioned.
He is NOT talking about us, Glamberts and other devotees, who already are onboard. There just aren't enough of us...yet.

@glitzylady
Hey, when I started writing my post yours was not there yet, he he... I'm a slow writer! :)

Happens to me all the time...I'm not the world's fastest typist either!!

Adam could have financed a Trespassing tour like he did the GNT.

Anonymous said...

Thanks Mr. Taylor . .since you know great music and I am already a Glambert . . . I will listen to the other four . . thanks again.

If it wasn't for Queen, Adam would have let another year go by without a big tour. He has only just started working on new music, when he went to Sweden. He keeps himself in pocket change by doing little things here and there, but he hasn't really worked hard on any one thing in 2013. That year is gone now, so I hope he will do more this year, than a June and July concert. Queen seems to be doing all the work in getting it together.

Amen Chad!
We have been wondering this since 2008!!

Anonymous said...

The big bosses are the problem behind it that's all!!!

Adam will prevail as always as long as the loyal fans are here to support him indeed and we will until to our last breath!!!:)

I send the radio station feedback on Adams music and believe me it was all positive. Never will say a bad word about Adam.

DJ CHAD TAYLOR is absolutely spot on! I couldn't agree with you more and as a DJ you have the moral authority to raise the biggest question of all time as to radio play. It has been mind boggling how deserving songs in TRESPASSING weren't given a chance to be played at all.

Thank you so much for acknowledging one of the magnificent talents of this generation that AI has introduced to the world. The Glambert community in 30 plus countries must be elated with this recognition. I am floored with his honesty in doing this because i know in my heart that there are millions out there who have been asking exactly the same questions.

Thank you for sustaining the renewed interest in Adam because he certainly deserves all the attention that he is getting now as the concert with Queen is anticipated.

I may sound like a broken record but i don't care a bit. I love TRESPASSING. And i'm comforted by the fact that there are so many musicians, composers, producers and artists in the music industry who believe in it as well.

Adam's artistry and musicality shall prevail no matter what! And i will be here for the long haul. Continue the great job Adam and history will be kind to you.

Love thru Adam,
Bing

I'm not familiar with some of the others, but I can definitely say that Haley Reinhart is very talented and worth your time.. My hubby was quite smitten with Haley (and Pia Toscano) on Idol season 10 (and went to the Idol tour that year to see them :) , We both really like her album that Mr. Taylor mentioned in his discussion of Haley in the article..

Click on the link in the article and it will take you to iTunes to listen.. or here's the link:

Sorry all, this time I can't just ignore... And I know all about trolls and other shit stirrers... and I know this is of no use...

@2:47
What the fuck is eating you?!?
Why are you such a dick?!!?
What was it that made you this way?!?
Don't you feel any shame while writing this shit about Adam? You really should.

And if you're a troll, a sociopath, uncapable of any normal human feelings, why the fuck are you here?!? On a fan site of a man who radiates nothing but love & acceptance!!!

Again, sorry all Adam loving fans here, my cup runneth over tonight...

I remember Adam doing an interview in NY during fashion week (Sauli was with him.) It was just before TP the album came out. Adam was asked about it and he was SO excited about its release. He talked about hopefully touring on that album. He had incredibly high hopes. The rest is history, as we know. Chad Taylor knows that Adam is very worthy of good radio play. Why he has not gotten it is the mystery of the decade. His songs are great and many of them are hit quality. Foreign markets seem to get him just fine. The U.S. radio PTB just don't. We all have high hopes for A3. He's gaining some big cred this year with Queen, Glee and LMD, so let's hope it pays off.

2:47, Apparently, you know a lot about what singers can and can't do just because they want to. 2:31 thinks he can just go out and finance a big tour on his own. I don't think Adam is stupid, naïve or lazy. He takes opportunities and go with them.

As for the Queen tour, I'm Adam is a integral part of it and contributes to those parts that apply to his. Brian and Roger have done big world tours for years. They know what needs to be done and they have people who can get it done. I'm sure Adam is in the loop. He's there to do his part of the production. Negativity is a waste of time.

Troll is a fan of talent shows and uber fan of a boy band from one of these shows. She argues nonsense a lot on a different blog site. Best to ignore her.

Adam Lambert is hard at work on a new album of new material that will hopefully be released sometime soon but today we learn that his former record label is moving forward with the release of a Best Of compilation of Adam‘s hits as a way to squeeze more money out of their former artist.

BTW tons of media coverage about this legacy compilation CD. All reflecting the same sentiment as this article.

Anonymous said...

Lol it's like it's a surprise that a record label wants to make money. They aren't doing anything wrong, and it doesn't hurt adam in the slightest.

Anonymous said...

Doesn't matter. The album is more exposure for Adam, it's all good. Hopefully more people will listen to Adam , and will start to follow his new work. No room for negative comments. It's never wise to burn bridges. Peace Out

Totally OT:
Fox is going to produce a version of Grease, set to air next year.
Do you think Adam has a chance. Speculation to play Keneckie, possibly Adam or Taylor Lantner. But Adam has the voice, Taylor the looks.

Anonymous said...

I think they have to drop down the prices on "Tresspassing" on Amazon and ITunes. Yesterday on Amazon it was $11.49 today back to $13.99. The price GaGa's "Artpop" always was $6.99. And Sony is so stupid they sell the new album for $12.75. In our time everybody like sales and discounts.

Anonymous said...

Adam is miles ahead of that net in looks and talent. Adam has done grease before. He should audition.

Anonymous said...

Meant Taylor lautner.

Anonymous said...

This radio DJ gets it, just like most of us here. With no label support and no radio play it's hard to finance a tour. (How people can be too dense to do the math is beyond me). Not sure how much $$ Adam made with Glamnation, but he once said he did it for the fans. Back then, however, he had great momentum going right after Idol plus he had major success with his hit single WWFM. I believe that TP will eventually get the recognition it deserves as things are looking really good this year. I'm very optimistic and the best is yet to come!

Anonymous said...

Adam is too old for most of the roles.

Anonymous said...

Adam did a production of Grease when he started college. Not sure what. Part he played.

Anonymous said...

Travolta didn't look very young when he did it.

glitzylady said...

The cast members ranged in age from early twenties to mid thirties.. John Travolta was24, Olivia Newton John was 29...Stockard Channing was 34, all playing high school students...

Happens a lot in movies and TV..

As for Adam being in some aspect of the production: All interesting speculation at this point, that's for sure!!

Anonymous said...

I don't see any good rolls for Adam in Grease.

Anonymous said...

5:45, Adam self financed the GNT with little radio play and no label backing.

glitzylady said...

Oh, for heaven's sake. Adam didn't do a major tour, for reasons known to him. It is what it is......

His business..

Anonymous said...

@6:20
Why didn't RCA or Sony finance him/How do you have that kind of info? That's why you have a label, because they do finance you. He may be going indie with his next tour, if he does not have a label. He didn't do it just for his fans, it's business, he needed to work, and that is what he does to make a living.

Anonymous said...

6:20PM Are you sure? This tour cost millions, somebody must pay agents to reserve the venues, for leasd or rent these venues, pay for flights, hotels, transportation. Adam never been rich enough to afford this kind of expenses. However, who knows, may be you are Adam's financial assistant and member of agents' team.

Off topic to some...on topic to many:

I had so much to do today it was almost overwhelming, so I decided to listen to my favorite singer - Adam Lambert while I worked. I should have put all my cd's on, but nooooooo, I had to go to YouTube and click on American Idol Season 8 all Adam Lambert. Now here it is over two hours later and I got nothing done. The time was not wasted though because I was shown again why I love this man and his voice. I got goosebumps just as I did when I watched him 5 years ago...even shed a few tears. So I guess tomorrow I am gonna be very busy catching up on what I didn't accomplish today. Oh well, you only live once. YOLO

Anonymous said...

Some people get unreasonably upset when you post a comment they don't like.....

Anonymous said...

I think people get upset 6.20 when you post something that totally not true. Adam was fresh off idol from GNT no way in hell did he have the money then to finance GNT that's just absurd. He made six million according to Forbes on that tour. I am pretty sure RCA backed it. It sold over two million world wide and five million singles. Adams WWFM did get radio play here IIHY did also not as long WWFM heard all the time and still here once in awhile. Trespassing was a great album and did not get much radio play and deserved it. Tour cost a lot of money and I sure the Queen tour has backing. Adam a hard worker always has been any one says different is just full of shit period! Things are going well for Adam now and I believe the Queen tour will help him a lot.
Good things coming there not a thing any NN or fan of others can do about it.

Anonymous said...

One little item, people tend to forget, about transportation, is that Queen has their own jet. Terrific for convenience at least.
Adam flew in it when he went to Ireland. Adam was like a little kid, he said it was the coolest thing ever, to be flying in Queens jet.

@3:28 PM #2

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Very well said; was scrolling down to respond to this male or female's ridculous post! Not necessary now; could not have said it better than you! I feel better now! Thanks!!!

@5:35 PM

Adam has the voice and the drop dead gorgeous looks. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I'd behold Adam's handsome looks over anyone's; any day!

even if you were being defensive that doesn't gives you the right to be so filthy like that , i'm sure you're now proud of your ugly comment but actually you beside that troll is what drove people away from here , yuck .. wash your mouth before you talk please .
love you Adam , but some called fans gives me a hard time focusing on your beautiful journey <3

Anonymous said...

The looks I was talking about was that people said that Taylor Lautner looked the part of Kineckie, but Adam had the voice. I think with the right make up they could make him look the part. Wasn't talking about Adam's looks. Only talking about the part to play in Grease. If he takes that beard off he will definitely look young enough. But might be Adam cannot do it anyway, could coincide with his album tour. The Sound of Music was a huge hit, that NBC put on a few months ago.

Adam is obviously perfect...cant understand people

Adam is perfectly perfect!

FYI:
- Clearly stated and apologized to regular lovin Adam fans in the beginning and in the end of my post!
- Was NOT addressing YOU, unless you are @2:47
- Was NOT being defensive, was purposefully being rude, was attacking @2:47 and his/her kind - wanted them to know how it feels to read their constant negative, insinuative and Adam belittling posts here every day...
- and NO, I'm not proud of my post, actually I feel awful, being rude is not me or why I'm here for, have been here almost from the beginning and I'm missing the times when this site was a friendly, lovin and FUN place!
That's all!

Once again, all regular Adam lovin posters, I apologize for the rude language, not my usual mode.

@3:28 #2 I applaud everything you said in your post to 2:47 and thank you for apologizing for the language. I have been tempted to answer some posts in the way you did. It's time now for you to put this post behind you, lift your shoulders and go back to being yourself. :)

PS I wish @Urethra Franklin would jump in once in a while. She could put these ignorant people in their place using a few choice words, not be chastized for it and not feel one bit of guilt.

Anonymous said...

I think Adam would be good as the gym teacher in Grease fair amount of face time but I don't know if he did any singing. I have to get out my Grease DVD and watch it.

Anonymous said...

I did not feel what 2:47 said deserved the filthy outburst by
3:28 #2. Is her vocabulary so limited that vulgarity is the only way to express disagreement? No excuse for that.

Anonymous said...

Adam played Doody in the Grease stage play he was in.
He has missed the boat on a current production. No leading singing role would be feasible at his present age. A completely new role would have to be added.

Thank you for your kind words and understanding what I was getting at and where I was coming from. Take care, fellow fan!

And I share your wish of having Urethra_Franklin here once in while! :) Hear this, Ureeeee?!?!

@4:37AM
That's your opinion, I posted mine @3:28. Hope you read my other post @6:21, it explains what I was trying to do, using the kind of language that's very common on web sites with snarky & hateful posts.

Don't know who you were addressing with your post commenting on my comment like I was not here... "Is her vocabulary so limited..." Please don't mock my or anyone else's vocabulary here, there might be people from various countries here, no need to scare them all away... I believe there is an unwritten code here, a gentleman's/woman's agreement, not to nitpick peoples' language and/or grammar shortcomings... You just broke that agreement, no excuse for that. Have a nice IHeart evening!
