Hello Margarita Lady.....sooo nice to hear from a breath of fresh brain er air. Yea good question, I also wondered about that...but I think there's a lot of behind the scenes reasons, one of which as always, boils down to how much I-Heart gleans from the performers and connections, for charity though. When Adam performed on I-Heart, it was Dr Brian's and Roger's weight and capacity that got Adam there. Adam is still relatively the new kid on the block. But QAL has shot up his hierarchy standing in the music business world a lot. I just heard the I-Heart version of WWTLF...Whoa! Shattering...superb sound.

LAM-MY-I wish we could at least have known if Adam or QUEEN + Adam might possibly have been asked to appear on IHEART and they turned it down. That would make me feel better, just that they might have been approached but said no.....On another note, Lam-my, I have read a lot of things lately about Singapore-that it is one of the best places in the world to live, that the health of the Singapore people is on a very high scale as compared to other countries of the world. Have you ever been to the top of the world to visit the SANDS SKYPARK SINGAPORE? Lovely lovely Singapore. Margarita Lady

Margarita Lady.....Unfortunately no...I used to travel to every nook and corner of Singapore; not now anymore, kind of home-based and 24/7-Adam based. lol! Could be my phlegm problem, but I'm still strong, not that I am unable to visit good ole Singapore but sort of not so inclined. Also, I've travelled and seen much in and out of Singapore, quite a lot; perhaps when my daughter comes home on vacation, I'll go see that Marina Sands everybody is telling me about. That's why I admire your fire...travelling all the way to Las Vegas and donning your best, just for Adam and Queen. I love this kind of fiery enthusiasm...so forward thinking instead of being so stuck in one's nitty-gritty concerns.
Marina Sands...SkyPark / Casino / Hotel / Conference etc. is the iconic architecture and work of world renown, Moshe Sadfie. Many companies bid to build the Singapore Marina Sands and the development/job was won my Las Vegas Sands...a joint venture between Singapore and Las Vegas Sands.

Adam would not have gone to vegas this time, first he has no new music, or album to push, and second Queen is not coming back right now after just finishing a tour, and also getting ready for the rest of the tour. Adam is way too busy to take time to prepare for a Vegas gig, he is working on his album.
The gif is like Adam is accepting the cheers and applause, and whistles, as his due. He is always very gracious.

Anne Marie.....Yea I think that may be the reason. Adam's schedule is packed to the brim. But Margarita L and I...you know, we demand a lot for Adam. lol!

The Iheart festival is different every year. Very few repeats. I think that is the reason Queen and Adam weren't there.

I never expected Adam to perform on IH this year. They do change up that line-up each time. Adam is on to new things.

About the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas:

According to Billboard "The main festival [at the MGM Grand Arena) "showcases some of the most well-established artists in the genre" while the Village showcases newer, rising acts.[7] In 2013, the magazine wrote that the festival had "quickly established itself as a home to a who's who of every major artist across virtually every format on radio."

Adam did not have a radio hit in the past year, he is not yet technically "a well-established artist in the genre" ie on radio. Perhaps next time around, with his new album, he might be invited to perform. I would LOVE that to happen for him!

As an example, when I was there (thankfully!!!) in 2013 to see Queen + Adam perform, virtually most, but not all, of the performers had hits on the radio that year and/or they had new albums to promote.. The MGM arena shows (6 hours of non stop music each) featured the really big acts. The Village, which was outdoors, much less expensive to get into ($30 per ticket, a true bargain..) had well known acts as well.. Including The Band Perry, Miley Cyrus (who interestingly also performed in the MGM Grand Arena the second night.), Avril Levine, The Wanted (a boy band from the UK), etc.. etc.. They all also had major radio hits in their genres from the past year.

The MGM Grand Arena featured MAJOR radio stars such as Katy Perry, Fun, Keith Urban, Thirty Secons to Mars, etc... etc.., and that year they also featured "classic" acts such as Queen (with Adam Lambert), Paul McCartney, and Sir Elton John.. Paul and Sir Elton also had new music and tours to promote... Interestingly Queen didn't have new music to promote at that point, they were just apparently a highly desirable Classic act.. And reportedly the highlight of the night... And the beginning of this years tour!!!

The Music festival is for all intents and purposes a HUGE promo venue/opportunity for music and radio and the artists they feature at each year's show.. The majority of the tickets to the two nights in the Arena are (so I've heard) handed out to radio and music biz people, many more to radio stations for give aways, and only a small percentage to the general public..which instantly sold out when they went on sale. Most of us had to purchase tickets on reseller sites if we wanted to go.. They were expensive, and sometimes ridiculously over priced but considering that each night was six hours of non-stop music, generally worth it.. The Village daytime shows were great too..

The bottom line is, Adam was not dissed or ignored by not being included this year (2014).. He just wasn't in the running this year... Hopefully in the future he WILL be!!!

This happens to be my fav "look" on Adam... From head to toe.... Eventhough I've actually preferred his clean shaven look in general. This and last years' iHeart concert.
All of Adam's looks are undeniably handsome.... But this one (and iHeart) is simply breathtaking and sexy, sexy (did I mention sexy?) to the bone. :)

Whew! Can't decide which I like better in this look....the eyes or those lips.....THUD.

Okay, now that I've started breathing again, I'll take the whole package please :))))
