Yawn

I'm not sure why somebody would want to remind Adam of what was probably a difficult time.

Huh? If that sexy pic makes you yawn, I don't even know what to say. LOL

Anon 9 pm, why do you say it was a difficult time? Is there something I don't remember about that time? Thanks.

RosiePosie, that "prayer" was in response to the AMAs.

Not sure what do think of this "prayer" that followed the AMAs. Fact is that many people were turned off by Adam's performance, and I remember that even ardent fans from Idol were not interested in the new album anymore. Is it fair that there is a double standard? No, but life in general isn't. I agree that it must have been anything but an easy time for Adam. He's come a long way since then.

True, Adam's come a long way since the AMA's 2009. It's a shame that so many of the so called ardent fans from Idol haven't :(((

Idol introduced Adam to the world (at least that part of the world that saw Am Idol on TV) and that's why I became a fan.

The reason I'm still here as his loving fan is solely because of Adam, the VOICE and the uber talented, wonderfully diverse person that he is - and because of everything that has happened since Idol, AMA's included! Actually the AMA performance sealed my love for Adam, for soooo many reasons and I will be his fan as long as I'm capable of following his career.

Those people who were turned off by the AMA performance and who still have not recovered from it, have their own issues and will never 'get Adam' unless they themselves change and think differently.... and oh boy, are they missing a lot!

Looking forward to the next QAL performance, a few more days.... Yuhuu!

2:03 AM, that's judgmental to say those who were turned off by the AMA performance have issues and need to think differently. Just because some people are more conservative or don't like sexually charged performances does not mean they have issues or need to think differently.

It continues to amaze me that fans praise Adam's acceptance and tolerance yet are not tolerant themselves.

We don't all need to like the same thing but we should let others like or dislike things as simple as a musical performance without saying they have issues.

BTW . . did you see the AMA's this year . .some female singer had her "woo woo" in the guys face (he had a mask on) and he danced around with her like that.

Oh well At least people remember his performance....

Compared to others it was not all that bad...

I don't know how many of you have eidetic memories for imagery. But I do, and I would like to remind those who focus on Adam and "that AMA" that our feed on the West Coast repeatedly reminded TV viewers in so many words that a "very adult" performance would close the program and this announcement was repeated more than three times, accompanied by images of flashing lights, dark shadows of leashed dancers and the sound of whips cracking. Adults got the picture of what was coming and they got what was promised. Adam's quick-thinking "ninja roll" after he fell marked him as a seasoned, uber-talented performer and that was when I knew that no matter what, he would be what we call a "STAR" writ large.

The only thing I thought about, was, "I hope this does not hurt Adam's career. I felt so bad about what he went through after; they tried so hard to drag him through the mud. But, Adam persevered and never gave up hope. Always holding his head up high; even though he was probably unsure of what might happen, as he said later.

I believed in Adam and have never waivered. You just don't give up on someone you really believe in for one thing that you might consider a mistake. I guess some people do. But, if that is the case; Adam is probably better off without that kind of karma in his life anyway.

Let the perfect stand their ground!

@2:03 AM: I totally agree with you!! Thank you very much!!

Those people did everything under the sun on that show; and nobody cared. Mainly because their name was not Adam Lambert!

Well I'm one of Adam's fans who did not like the AMA performance. I thought it was too sexual. Especially for his first time out in such a highly visible show. I don't like overt sexual performances. But I am still a fan of Adam and I think 2:03 am is very wrong to say I have issues and need to change and think differently to get Adam.

I get Adam and love him but I still do not like performances like what he did on the AMAs. And I don't need to change.

Ha ha - not sure how it happened, but in case anyone was wondering if I had been living under a rock during "AMA-gate".... I thought I was leaving comments on the AT&T Live Proud performance pic just below this post. :)
