Well, I must say Adam did indeed gush over Sam. Sam is certainly sitting on the mountaintop right now. It would be nice if he and Adam did do something together. Is Sam doing other duets or collab recordings? He might not see the need right now. I wonder how is voice is feeling since he had to cancel a number of concerts. He performed at the IHR, right? So he must be ok.

BTW, I need some help! I got an email that the magazine now has more copies and I went to the order page link. But when I get to the page where it lists the price, the number of copies, etc., it says I can't continue without the "terms" agreed to. Where is that??? I looked all over for it? I want to order it before the copies run out again. How do I agree to the terms so I can continue? Any help? Thanks.

I remember seeing that and just assumed by continuing I had agreed. I was all set up to order then pulled the plug on mysel, deciding to support my local b&N bookstore. Bookstores keep disappearing.

This doesn't sound like a reliable story. Sounds like fan speculation based on wishes.

I didn't get the impression Adam was gushing over Sam,answering the questions being polite.I like Sam maybe him and Adam will run into each other in Rio.

Adam never mentioned that he wanted to collaborate with Smith. The interview stated it was a rumor. Most rumors like this don't have a speck of truth in them.

There'd be nothing wrong with a collab with Sam Smith. Sam is so popular now that it would be beneficial to Adam. Think outside the square.

It is not much more "accepted" to be gay in the UK than it is in the US.

First you said Sam Smith hasn't faced any challenges, now you say just while he was in school and like it was no big deal.

You have no idea what discrimination or name calling Sam Smith has or has not faced since leaving school.

Your acceptance of bullying and prejudice of gay people by youths as just a youth thing is ridiculous and disgusting.

Hate crimes by adults against gay people in England still make international news. Same sex marriage rights were enacted only recently. A Pew Report in 2013 showed 76% of the people in England were accepting of gay behavior.

It is just ludicrous to state being gay is accepted in the UK. Ludicrous to say Sam Smith hasn't faced any challenges. I don't even have words for your brushing off of any problems in his youth.

You do not speak for everyones experience being gay in the UK.

No one can know what Sam Smith went through when he was bullied. Only he knows that, and only he knows how often it happened. It's his business and his business only.

Adam thinks Sam is a great singer and loves his songs, and I have a feeling Adam would love to collaborate with him, if the opportunity were to present itself.

Adam never suggested that they collaborate. He was just being nice and congratulating him on his success. Adam does this with everyone he meets, and also to some he has not met.

It seems that bad times have come for me , to post a warning before posting personal comments, beware, these opinions are mine, I don't have any intention to change yours or the world!!! A spectre is haunting this blog, a spectre of condescension and unwillingness to accept that there are no right/wrong musical opinions/preferences and if we are making a minimal effort to exchange different opinions, to agree to disagree, without using offensive words, this blog will be a better place

Adam would be the perfect partner in a duet:superb voice, perfect knowledge to harmonize his voice with his partner's , remember the duets with the Chinese contestant- The Voice , the American contestant- The American Idol, and a surprising lack of an inflated ego, so characteristic to...so many pop singers.
