VOTING for ROGER!!! He and Brian have been so good to Adam and brought him fabulous exposure in various parts of the world via the QAL concerts, it's the least I can do. :-)))

Anonymous said...

But is Roger really the best drummer? Fact is he is good but not the best.

Voting for him just because he has been good to Adam is not right.

Anonymous said...

@12.17am
So who do you think is the best drummer?

I think Roger's the best drummer so I'm voting for him.

1:32 AM .... huh?? That is extremely rude and uncalled for.

It seems Adam will perform with Queen from time to time and may even record with them. Get used to it!!

12:49 am, Bonham is better than Roger and should win.

@12:17 AM & @1:32 AM

I Will VOTE for Roger as many times as we are allowed to, because that's my prerogative; and I feel that he is the best, of course, it is all subjective to one's taste!

There is someone who should go away; and it certainly isn't THE ICON BAND, "Queen"!

In my book, Roger even gets extra points for the kindness and opportunities that he has bestowed on our Adam. That, added to the fact that he is a great drummer, just takes him way over the top of his extraordinary drumming skills!

Anyone that would begrudge this man that honor, does not seem to have that much respect for Adam either! Also, sounds rather childish to me, you don't have to vote for him, your choice; but, why try to discourage others from doing so??

So glad that Adam will have the continued opportunity to collaborate with these Icon's who thinks that his voice is "One In A Billion", and that he is, "A Gift From God"! One might say the same for Brian and Roger!!

On my way to vote for Roger, for he certainly deserves THIS HONOR!

Come on Glamberts; we can do this for ROGER TAYLOR, lets Roll!!

@3:08 AM

If you feel that way, why don't you go to the Blog site that is supporting him if there is one?

This thread is in support of Roger Taylor; perhaps you got lost!

Bye now; go support the drummer of your choice. I'm going to vote for the one this tread is supporting, and that I feel is the best; that is Mr. Roger Taylor of Queen!

Freedom of choice is still alive and well, so hop to it, bye now!

3:30/3:43 AM, thanks for the laugh and the OTT reaction. I'm still giggling. Go on, reward Roger for liking Adam with an award for being best drummer ever if you want to.

Though maybe a thank you letter is in order too. Maybe we as Adam fans can send Roger, Brian and the rest of the Queen gang a virtual thank you card. Like the birthday cards fans do. Anybody know how to start one of those? I'll sign it.

Anonymous said...

GO ROGER!!! :-D

Anonymous said...

@3:53 AM
Your sarcasm is pointless.

Anonymous said...

I'd sign a card too.

Anonymous said...

Don't forget you can vote every hour !!!

Anonymous said...

Man the troll on here is answering herself big time.It would be funny if it wasn't so scary.

Anonymous said...

12:17 AM
Somehow I don't think you're the world's leading authority on drummers' expertise. lol

Anonymous said...

Voted for Roger; you can vote every hour! Roger is certainly the best in my opinion!

I am voting for Roger. I like his restraint, he doesn't overplay the singer or the rest of the band. He is not the flashiest drummer or one who solos in every set.
He can produce a bang up solo when the occasion calls for it.........he's really good.

Cute Pop.Candie video of Adam getting into wrong limo in Weho. Get links on Twitter.

Anonymous said...

Agreed @ 6:11 AM. We know it's one person.

I'm voting for Roger every chance I get.

Anonymous said...

Here is a fun video. Adam gets in wrong limo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yS9sfJe0t5g&feature=youtu.be

3:53 am & your multiple Selves,

Still giggling?? Your childish behavior is showing in more ways then one!!

Let me get this straight; you are going to set up a card for signatures, then You, Yourself and You are going to sign it? Good luck with that!!!

Brian May and Roger Taylor already know how Adam's fans feel about them, so no cards are necessary! Gratitude has been expressed by the fans in so many wonderful ways already, if you were truly a fan of Adam's; you would already know that!!

Suggestion: Instead of setting up a card on Adam's fan sight that only you will sign; why don't you just go vote for the drummer of your choice??

Don't even try and pretend you are someone else, or more than one person; yet again!!

Out to the real world; have fun!!

I can't believe what I just read.

Wooo Adam looking sooo fine in that pap video.

Go Glamberts, the support is coming on strong; and Roger so deserves it. Off to vote again. Remember, you can vote every hour!

8 05 am

Open up that mind and believe, or not believe; it's your right, for whatever you are talking about!

Off to vote for Roger Taylor of Queen; believe that!!

Dee R Gee said...

All these "best" polls are for fans voting for who they love, nothing more. "Bests" are always subjective. The Glamberts have made a real connection with Roger. I voted for him. Is Bonham a fantastic drummer, too? Of course he is! Vote your choice and enjoy.

Such a cute video of Adam and the "wrong" limo. Embarrassing, but he laughed it off. Could happen to anyone. Those limos looks pretty much the same. And boy! The paps were really out in force! Adam looked awfully damn cute, too. :)

@Dee R Gee,
'Ya know, your point about the polls is a good one... they are hardly for anything particularly significant and rather are for fan voting and PR and site hits and advertising, etc. So now that I think of it, the real giggle inducer here might be somebody getting upset over the voting on one of these polls in the first place!!! They are not particularly important, they are for fun (& hits), Ultimate Classic Rock knows that... everybody knows that.

yada said...

OMG. Those photos from 8:03AM....

Adam is simply gorgeous beyond belief!!!!

.... Fair warning to anyone who decides to look: He's wearing his shirt very low, leather pants, stunning smiles - HOT, HOT...!
In living color still snaps of what the video shows, but the video doesn't show as clearly what the photos show. They are gorgeous pictures of Adam. WOW...

That video was cute..... Adam kept his cool so well. Didn't even rush himself getting back into the right one... Just calmly walked over to it with that amazing smile of his on his face. Adorkable. :))))

yada said...

...and to speak of the topic of this thread:

I hope Roger Taylor receives the very best awards, accolades, poll wins, etc, as possible. He is very skilled and talented... Is a legendary contributor to music history in both drumming and songwriting; as well as live performance. And, the fact that he has embraced Adam and shown him the genuine respect that Adam truly deserves - even under fire - certainly adds to his overall credibility in my book.

... I would have voted for him even before QAL, though. :)

So much hate for somebody who has a different opinion. Just typical of this place. Now watch me get jumped on for daring to say that.

Anonymous said...

9:05 she thrives on the negative attention other wise she wouldn't be here every other thread.

Anonymous said...

I'll be brave and say I agree it is silly to vote for Brian or Roger just because they have been good to Adam.

Anonymous said...

Some of the people on this site are so damn bitchy, talk about double standards ticking someone off just because they have a different opinion is a sure sign of ignorance.

I voted for Roger simply because he has been so good to Adam, but I have to say I don't think Roger is a great drummer, he is very good but not one of the great's. Now if you want to go and jump all over me for giving my honest opinion then go for it, but this site should be for people who wish to express themselves freely without threats from bullies who seem to gain some sick pleasure by putting others down.

Anonymous said...

It's only free speech if you agree with the approved group think, otherwise you are called names and accused of multiposting and not supporting Adam. Double standards is right.

Anonymous said...

There is no "hate" for people who post of differing opinions here, imho ... rather I see that the strong feelings come out when people post with SNIDENESS. The backlash doesn't come so much for the opinion itself, but rather the way in which it was delivered and posted! And I think you know that!!! There's my opinion.

Anonymous said...

Yes, there are ways of expressing a different opinion without being snarky. If people don't want to vote for Roger or anyone else whom Glamberts are voting for, fine but it's unnecessary to try to make it unpleasant for others who are voting.

Anonymous said...

Differing opinions only allowed if you present it gently so as to not offend the others. Be careful to not be unpleasant. Do not express strong feelings like the others.

Anonymous said...

There should be no backlash either just because you didn't like how it was worded. Grow up.

I just saw Pan on another thread feeling she had to give a warning about this was just her opinion, not wanting to change anyone's mind. That should be so unnecessary for her to do. Congratulations to the bullies who think opinions different from theirs have to be delivered a certain way.

Anonymous said...

Cannot differing opinions just be that - differing opinions, preferably presented in a civil manner, owned by the poster and not out to hurt anybody?

Why is it that an opinion (when presented in a civil manner) is most often called "differing" or "negative" if it is not just "overly positive gushing"?

Or is it a must to present differing opinions in a negative tone?

Also cultural and language differences play a big role. "The American way" of small talk (in a written form) and being oh so positive and pleasant just does not come naturally or is not a part of the culture - does not mean it is not appreciated or that people are trying to be rude. Some write more bluntly, with less pleasantries... but that does not make them bullies or trolls.

just my thoughts, no biggie

@April 2, 2015 at 6:49 AM

I liked you post, thanks.

However, to @April 1 8:48 PM, here's me being straight forward and not concerning myself too terribly much with civility - your post is Bullsh*t in my humble OPINION. It is very simple to post a strong opinion without snark and snide, quite easy. I find the readers/participants here to be a smart lot, and they know the difference when someone is being strong minded, passionate, and sticking to their convictions/opinions - or when they are being an as*hole for sport! For example, I think April 1 12:17am at the top of this thread was fine... but some posts that ensued were written in such a snarky, snide manner that they, the author(s), lost their point, which is ultimately unfortunate imho.

@ April 2 at 1:53AM - of course opinions and posts don't have to be delivered in a "certain" way, but perhaps they can be delivered in a civil way. Straight forwardness and civility can co-exist. People don't have to be "flowery" in their language, and sometimes things are lost in translation in the absence of intonation, facial expressions etc, people shouldn't have to issue disclaimers before sharing their thoughts in their posts ... but snide snarky jerkiness is easier to detect than not imho, and can be avoided while still delivering a meaningful, strong post. I have not been civil here in my post, I swore for crying out loud... but despite finding your thoughts about Pan very compelling, your overall notion falls short for me, just my POV.

This thread is probably totally dead, but I felt compelled to post nonetheless.

Anonymous said...

So now all opinions are welcomed except the snarky snide ones. Why can't people deal with snarky and snide? It is still creating rules on how you are allowed to express your opinion here.

Anonymous said...

9:43
Have you tried being snarky and snide in all your communication with people (of all age groups, job interviews etc*) face to face? How's that working for you??!?!?

*snide and snarky maybe the internet way of "talking" among not-so-grown ups, but sooner or later real life teaches you a lesson in this "department", too! :)))

Anonymous said...

10:23 AM, no that is not how I write. I just find all the fan made "rules" about how to express yourself here getting more and more constrictive.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, being civil, even pleasant, is a real b*tch. So oppressive. So standing in the way of expressing myself on this blog. What a drag.

1:36PM, you missed the point, I don't care about snark. I think we should be able to express our opinions without someone saying you didn't say that in a nice enough way.
