I'm over the whole Queen thing. Let's move on. Adam's 3rd album is everything.

I personally don't feel the need to be over the whole QAL thing, I feel all of Adam's endeavors can peacefully co-exist. Hillary Duff is staring in a new TV show, and will soon be releasing a new album (she actually spoke about producing it in Sweden and the Swedes having their finger on the pulse of pop music currently, interesting!) Anyway, exposure on multiple levels is a huge help towards good sales imo. Hillary Duff has been working since she was 12 and has a huge built in audience, but she's been away from the music scene a good while now, and I hardly think it is a coincidence that has chosen now, with the TV show soon airing, to launch her new music venture.

IMO, Adam doesn't need to focus on the QAL thing, but neither does he need to move on from it. I am not in the industry, but I find it hard to believe that QAL has been anything but helpful to Adam's career, and can continue to be so. Just my POV.

Thanks for the post. Byron is such a fanboy. :)

QAL is now a part of Adam's world. Even with his own career, he will always feel like part of that family. It's been going on for several years, and the Rio gig is in front of 600,000. If Queen is generous enough to promote Adam into addition world stages, I am all for it. Besides, the money can't be bad, and there may be an allowance for Adam to perform his own "stuff." Adam doesn't have to be a one-dimentional artist. I'd like to see him on Broadway and in the movies too!

@Byron Cooke
Yeah THAT! Perfect spot for Adam!
You are such a trooper in Adamland!!!

PS. Please, pay no attention to some posters here not having any manners!

PPS. No, I don't think Byron comes here...
Just fed up with the constantly present vibe spoilers in almost every thread!

Sounds like a great idea from Byron Cooke. Let it be known he put it out there and let it be done.

PERFECT SPOT for "HIS HAWTNESS", Adam Lambert. I will be forever grateful to QUEEN for promoting the awesome talent of Adam Lambert. I totally love QUEEN-I just spent a small fortune buying their PLATINUM COLLECTION for many friends. Adam will forever be linked to their fame and I am very grateful. Margarita Lady

I want to see Adam everywhere on my television, tablet, on the sidewalk, it all works for me.

I love Queen + Adam Lambert, period. I would be overjoyed if he stayed with them as long as Brian and Roger are able to bear the stress and toll that touring takes on the body. As Adam has said, he's able to handle more than one thing at a time, and he obviously loves touring with queen. And they obviously love touring with him. And how could he not bask in the adoration Queen fans now give him. He has quickly turned British audiences from skeptics to enthusiastic Glamberts. I'm ashamed to say that was one task I didn't know whether he would be able to accomplish, considering the nasty posts on the internet. I should never have doubted the unlimited power of Adam's talent, personality and inner and outer beauty. ic

Singers can have multi-faceted careers and still come back to their music. Justin Timberlake, for example, and other singers who have become actors. There is no reason why Adam can't attempt to branch out in any area of media that he wants to. Nobody should be pigeon-holed into one thing. Solo artist, Queen frontman, actor, entrepreneur, who knows what else. Adam is young. Life should be full of possibilities.

Amen, glam brother!! (Byron :D) .....

I think Adam can have his name there in that spot with Queen AND have his very own in the Hollywood WOF to boot. :))

I don't mind Adam doing the occasional Queen gig but I am a fan of his solo pop work. I'm not really into Queen or oldies. I am super excited for the new stuff and can't wait for Adam to tour with that!

Thanks for your post & for sharing. I am so hopeful for Adam's touring with the new stuff too!

VERY OFF-TOPIC: Scroll on by or the Admins can moderate me, whatever they think is best is cool ... but I want to take a minute and use the example of 4:41's post to give a shout out to that person here lately, especially today, who is claiming civility and straight-forwardness can not co-exist. 4:41 shared a very clear perspective. He/She did not use flowery language or give a disclaimer or use excessive language to "make nice", and 4:41 stated an opinion that perhaps would be contrary to how many on this particular Adam Lambert blog feel... but 4:41 still maintained a simple civility. To the person who has posted today with such concern about participants here having to be uber concerned with politeness and wording their posts a certain way, etc. - IMHO you are NOT a troll, and that's why I am giving you a shout out, and I have tried to see your perspective... but IMHO, nobody here is calling for delicate language, walking on eggshells, uber selective careful wording, etc... there is a notable and detectable difference between a snotty, pissy demeanor (done so for sport) and a straight forward tell it like you see it post/opinion. I have been reading this blog a very long time, and imho most here would have no problem with the latter. 4:41 just gave us a wonderful example of the latter. Some may not love 4:41's use of the term "oldies", but I think the spirit of his/her post came through clearly and fairly (and imho, even in a friendly way, not that friendliness, or even fairness, is required or even necessary, not at all, I just think it came through friendly-like). Idk you person out there on the threads today, just my POV. I think there have been pot stirrers here today, but I don't think you are a troll, just my vibe, so I addressed you, don't know if you're reading or you've picked up your pail and shovel and gone home... but I thought I'd just throw my POV out there. Have a good night fellow Adam Fan.

@5:47 PM

I get the feeling that you feel as though you have been misunderstood or picked on unnecessarily by something you may have posted recently, on perhaps another thread. You seem to want to explain your feelings by identifying with the poster you wrote about in your post!

If that is the case; you might want to pick up some pointers from their post. Sometimes people do misunderstand our motives; but, it is up to us to change that perception by the way in which we express ourselves!

If my words do pertain to you, and I am just guessing; and I mean no harm. Maybe you just have to find a civil way to agree to disagree!

I personally just love everything Adam, with or without someone else. I loved looking at everything from back to his youth on stage. I love the Glee performances and the Queen performances and the Idol performances and his solo performances; and everything in between.

I must say the Queen + Adam Lambert just took him to another level; his talents are boundless. Adam loves the challenges and meets them with such grace. He has picked up so many fans worldwide. He has truly become and international star. This will help him tremendously in his solo career.
I would say the experience is priceless!!

He will do what makes himself happy and content; and I will be along for that exciting ride, wherever it takes me!!

Hi 5:47 PM, I think I am one of the people who you are referring to. I think the opinions regarding how carefully comments need to be made have been made by more than one person.

It was nice to see you support a comment that was just straight forward. That is what I would like to see people be able to do.

What I haven't liked was people saying you should have said that differently or said it more gently or be sensitive to offending others. There seems to be some pressure to conform to certain opinions and how to express them lately.

I really feel like we should be able to write and read opinions like adults. We won't always agree but we don't need to take it personally when someone has a different opinion and we shouldn't need to so carefully word something so somebody won't be offended. This is a two way street. Picking up part of what 6:33 PM said, it's not just maybe change the way you express yourself but also maybe change the way you read things. Usually no offense was intended.

It would be nice to not see the minority opinion people get jumped all over by others.

Hopefully others will see the points trying to be made. Thank you for addressing the issue. <3

I thought we were supposed to be giving our opinions about what Bryon Cooke was suggesting. Personally , I don't think Adam has earned the right yet, to put his name on the rock hall of fame.
He might someday but he hasn't earned that yet.

Love Byron's comment but it is too early for that honor although thousands will disagree with me.

Re Queen: "oldies" they may be but they're arguably the best rock band in the world ever and Brian and Roger gave Adam an enormous and invaluable boost to his career by having him as their frontman. Brian and Roger are now in their 5th decade in the world of rock and that is an amazing accomplishment, and Adam has said it's an honor to perform with them.

5:47, 6:33, 6:56, All good points. Nobody should have to tiptoe around and be overly "nice" about every little thing in order not to offend anybody. But I think some people just haven't a clue about how to express a dissenting opinion without sounding snotty. BTW, 4:41's post is perfect example of how you CAN express a different opinion simply and clearly and still end the post on a positive note. The admins have to make judgment calls, but I think they have pretty good instincts.

There are many Adam sites where we can all go if we do not like the way a particular site is run. I don't see the point in trying to change the way a site is run, just find one you like better...
IMO this is a great site and if everyone would post under a name and not anon, we wouldn't have some of the issues we do. The Admin and Glitzy do a wonderful job IMO!

Magiclady, the problem is people lately complaining about how a post is made. No problems if they can learn to tolerate a variety of writing styles and opinions.

There are times I have a different view to others but I don't post it because I know the wrath of other Glamberts will be upon me.

4:21 AM, I am so sorry to hear that. I wish you could post it without fear of that. I understand why you assume it would. I hate that the bullying continues on a site that praises Adam's tolerance.
