The quotes we post are but "teasers" for the article itself...

I absolutely LOVE this series of essays.. They are beautifully written and convey so much of what I think many of us fans feel but don't have the words or at least the ability to express them in the way she does...

And even more exciting, the author is a newly minted Adam Lambert fan... and a very long term Queen fan..

She's awesome!!!

I follow the QAL fans Facebook page she mentions in this particular blog and it's a wonderful place.. The main requirement is to be both a fan of Queen AND of Adam Lambert.. No hate for either allowed.. Nothing but love and respect for the men of Queen and Adam..

Is the QAL Facebook page called Queen + Adam Lambert?

It's called "QAL Fans United".. and is a "private" page in that one must be approved to be a participant.. All are welcome as long as the men of Queen AND Adam Lambert are respected. Those who don't comply with some basic rules of participation are dis-invited..

Sorry, she is not a new Adam fan. Not sure what her plan is to play the newly converted fan except to try to win over more Queen fans.

Please don't start that again.. thanks.. I personally don't care if she's an old or new Adam fan.. Her blogs are wonderful. She says she's a new fan and I believe her.. I have no reason to believe otherwise.. Why start another argument about it.. It's WHAT she writes and how she writes it that I care about..

Once again a reasonably stated opinion is being shut down. No arguement was being started. What happened to this place? It's like there is a very narrow lane you must stay in.

Glitzylady, if you don't care if she is old or new and only care what she writes why try to stop someone else from saying what they think?

Glitzylady's doing what every responsible admin/moderator should do... trying to preempt possible and further unnecessary hassle. Not shutting down anyone's valid opinions.

Why don't you @1:14 / @1:37 try and bring something interesting and positively informative to the table for once? Thank you in advance.

2:38 AM, I am 1:37 AM and I brought links here of the pics of Adam from being at the John Hughes musical tonight. I also brought links of Adam at Greystone Manor the night before. Is that interesting and positive enough for you?

Is it the full moon? Didn't this get discussed a day or two ago? Why can't people leave civil opinions? Somebody doesn't like something posted about Shosh either. Why do the comment police need to decide if it was appropriate enough or glamberty enough?

Let people state their opinion if it is straight forward and civil.

Well, guess we are passionate and the moon is full. Loving QAL and Adam is just a full time occupation. Thank heavens there are many of us with many opinions. Keep in mind, we ALL want Adam to be the greatest phenom! He's well on his way and we thank ANYONE who shares the vision. Happy Easter ALL!

Glitzylady, sorry but I do think your reaction might have been a bit premature. I didn't find that comment to be argumentative.

Well, how long did it take each one of us to start flailing about Adam once we've discovered him and his golden voice? For me, it was immediate and I've not been able to stop, nor do I want to ;))).

The writer of this blog said that she discovered Adam from the BBC New Year's Eve/New Year broadcast of QAL. Her writings began at that point. I see no reason to doubt that she's the new Adam fan that she says she is. If she were not, she sure showed super-human strength being able to suppress her flailing until now.

She writes beautifully and articulately with the unique insight of being a classically trained singer who understands & appreciates Adam's voice and performing skills plus being a long time Queen fan. I've enjoyed every single article and can't wait for more.

Adam just grabs you and takes hold and won't let go. I can't imagine not following the life and career of this incredible person. Each step in his journey is eye-opening, mind-expanding and full of the ups and downs we all have. I got on board on Day One on Idol and intend to stay on for the whole ride.

Love Bad Ass's blogs! She really gets to the depth of how we fans feel about Adam, Queen and QAL. It's like she reads my mind. It's more than the voice alone; it's more than the handsome face; it's that whole aura, personality, love and light.

We've posted other blogs from "My Badass Alter Ego" here on 24/7. I've read every one of the Queen + Adam Lambert-related blogs and have found them to be well written, knowledgable, and love perspective that she is able to give as a long time Queen fan, a more recent Adam Lambert fan, and as someone who has expertise in the field of music and is a singer herself.

The author was nice enough to post this comment (quoted below) in response to similar accusations that inferred that "she is not a new Adam Lambert fan", such as @Anon 1:14 AM posted here above. I also have had conversations with the author on a personal level on Facebook and it frustrates me to see these comments continuing to be posted here, to the effect that she is misrepresenting herself in order to somehow get people to read her blogs.. Utter nonsense, to be blunt. Hence my response to the comment. Sorry, but there are times when enough is enough..And I have to personally respond, not only as a long time reader (and fan) of this 24/7 blog, an Adam Lambert fan, a Queen fan......and as a blog administrator..

Glitzylady, yes, you do need to remember when you are a moderator and when you are a fan. I'm sure there are times when they conflict but you mustn't let the fan part intrude on the moderator part as difficult as it may be.

So what if some think she is genuine and some think she isn't. Let it go. Or do we all have to have the same beliefs here beyond the Adam is amazing part?

It seems like the little things are getting turned into big things here lately when that is not necessary.

We are about to get new music. Can't we stop the petty bickering and enjoy the run up to the release?

Geez people, give it a rest. Would you be willing to invest the incredible amount of time it must take to be an admin on this blog? If glitzylady offers her opinion in opposition to someone else's opinion --- that's just what it is. A different opinion! Please be grateful we have such an incredible place to come daily and get the most up to date info on our Adam. Thx. LL
