I hate them!

That arm one is way too dark. What is he thinking.

I don't like them either .... overkill .... but to each his/her own.

He's thinking he likes them.. And I believe that's what matters.. His body, his ink..

I think they're fine... And interesting..

But I DO need to personally (& closely...) inspect them.. just to make sure!!!

That chest tattoo is awesome but I don't like that arm tattoo. :( Still prefer his 'clean and clear' arms rather than covered with tattoos. But Adam is happy with it, that's all that matters.

Not more tats just like Adam. I want to get a snake on my forearm. I only have one tattoo that the same as Adam's and that's the Eye Of Horus. I have 12 other tattoos. Love getting ink done. It's addicting. Just wish I had the money. It gets expensive. <3 :)

Adam keeps talking about a post gay world but then he goes and gets another giant gay symbol tattoo on the other arm. How can he expect people to move on from his sexuality if he keeps broadcasting it?

I'm not personally into body art but I've seen some beautiful and amazing artwork out there. I must say that Adam's tats did look amazing in his photo shoots - somehow they complement the whole picture by adding pizzaz to rock star persona. JMHO ;))

And truthfully, I'm not fond of the new inked arm sleeve but, as glitzy says, 'his body, his ink'. Adam will always do what Adam wants to do .....

So both arms have sleeve tats? I wonder when he got the other sleeve done, we haven't seen his arms for a while, have we? It said a small one added to the bottom of his sleeve tatt. What was that, couldn't make it out in the picture. He is not as busy as we thought he was, those take a while.

Hmm, no, if you must know; I held the camera. I was so nervous. I asked him did he want one of the boyfriends that some nosey fans are always chatting about. He said he does not have one right now, as he says in every interview when asked, says he is dating his album at the moment; just does not have time for anyone at the moment. But, I felt so lucky, knowing that he could have asked anyone; and he asked little old me, imagine that! How that answers your question satisfactorily!

I read the words wrong, I guess he got the sleeve and the OH on his chest. The Original High must be more personal than we thought. Wonder if he is going to add his other two albums?

I hate them both, but it is his body, his life and his money. I wonder how comfortable he will be when he is traveling this next few days and going on to Europe. I thought they left your arms a bit sore, and you must take care not to get infections.

I have started to accept his body art a while ago - is there any other option anyway? - but what worries me a bit is the addiction factor. When will he stop? I hope he'll keep his neck and face free from tats.

It's not homophobic to recognize a gay symbol and wonder why Adam got it if he doesn't want being gay to be a focus in the media. Homophobic is thrown around too lightly here. I don't think you have truly experienced or seen it if you use it so indiscriminately. Think about it before you use it. Find a way to express yourself before using serious words nonchalantly.

It was just in an earlier thread that gay should be an afterthought. It is hard for that to happen when Adam has the symbols so prominently tattooed. It is natural the media will ask about it and there we are back at Adam is gay. I am so tired of hearing that in interviews and articles. His music should come first. So I guess I am homophobic now too? So ridiculous.

I don't like sleeve tattoos and both of Adam's arms are now heavily covered.

Looks like he will have to add a lot more to the half sleeve, his upper arm looks naked.

It is probably just a simple reason why he does this, he hates his freckles and so he covers them. Freckles are not rock and roll.

Adam's first tattoo was his Eye of Horus.. The second one was the Infinity Symbol.. (as I recall anyway..).. OOFTA came later...

We can add more to the freckled list. Ginger Spice (Geri Haliwell), Florence of Florence and the Machine, Macklemore, Bonnie Raitt, Reba McEntire.

When he says something is not rock and roll, he means it is not cool. He has gone to great lengths to cover his red hair, eyebrows, eyelashes and facial hair. He actually said his coloring was not rock and roll.

Adam isn't a bright red head. He is strawberry blond at best. He just got done saying it was his natural hair color (and beard color) right before he went caramellow.

Also, that arm tattoo is too dark. Too much tiny detail.

The OOFTA tattoo that he and Sauli both have, was his fourth tattoo.

I hope he stops now & won't touch his face or cover his chest. The right arm sleeve was well done and wish he would have stopped there. The right arm is very dark and too busy, but it's always Adam's choice and I hope he won't regret or get bored with them. For some it's addicting. I hope if Adam gets film work the tatts won't limit his possibilities. If he wasn't so good looking I wouldn't care, but for me it's like defacing a beautiful work of art.

I've seen footage of people with full body tattoos. I wonder if Adam will go down that path. :-(((((

Adam had those temporary tattoos on his neck and face so I think it is only a matter of time.

I like your sense of humor , I really do, but I think, like other anons, that Adam isn't thinking of the album, the original high must be a significant experience of his from younger years. If I were young, in my 20s, early 30s, I'd surely have a...cute, little raven tattooed on my shoulder. I've been fascinated by crows since I was a child, when the personal thread is ready LOL, I'll tell you my adventure with the crow. Older, I've become interested in the symbolism of these intelligent, sly, with almost human-like bad habits, crows, ravens.
Adam is an artist, artists , nowadays , transmit messages using all kinds of forms, including tattooing, I'm different, I've just passed through an interesting experience, I've read more about the masonic symbol, the triangle, a symbol taken over by the gay community, too or simply, I'm trendy.

Putting ink on his skin does not change his voice or his talent and he has the right to do what ever he wants with his own body. I've followed Adam since his Idol days...and am a huge fan. But this last tat has done me in. Sorry Adam, its ugly. I know its YOUR body but i don't have to agree with your choice. It has been discussed here before what an inverted triangle means to the gay community. Please google it if you missed that. It is insulting to Adam to deny what it means. That sounds like a very good decision for you, I applaud your decisiveness, truly I do, I am being completely sincere. You are probably being quite self aware in your assessment of your inability to "get it", very courageous of you to look the truth in the face and act decisively. I would venture to get there are more who should follow your example, which I don't say in any mean-spirited way... I am simply suggesting, jmo, that if Adam's career and presence on the music scene isn't making you happy anymore, move on and find someone or something that does. Real Life is hard, we should have "extra curricular" things, so to speak, that makes us happy, not angsty. I obviously don't know you, but I bet you did have a good ride, good for you for opening your mind enough to enjoy what joy Adam can bring people. I guess perhaps the generation gap does prevent you from opening it enough to understand what the ink might mean to Adam, and how he might think it's artful, how he might think it's enhancing his body and not ruining it or a "shame"; even if you didn't agree with it or appreciate it, which I totally understand, your statements were quite strong and it appears that you can not even fathom how ADAM might see it, which I personally might categorize as the shame here, but just my POV. I sincerely think it's so great how you took a look at your own feelings, have decided on what might be best for you, and have shared your thoughts. I applaud your introspection! 6:00, Adam's tats have nothing to do with his singing voice. Too bad you want to leave the fandom because of something that has nothing to do with his talent. His voice is the primary reason I'm here. Of course, it's your choice. Tats are part of music culture. Their meanings are personal to him. I'll stick around and enjoy the music, tats or no tats.

Ok.....i am "6;00" and i am NOT a troll. Seriously, i always sign my name, unlike many others on this site, but i was afraid if i did this time i'd get bombarded with hate notes! LOL!! I had a very sleepless night thinking about how ...in MY eyes....Adam is altering his BEAUTIFUL body. I am in my 50's and i have many friends who got tats in their youth and now they regret them. They're no longer fresh and bright and some of them they hide in embarrassment from getting them when they were drunk or high.
However.....it's none of my business. Adam doesn't know me from squat and he should do what he wants. It is a huge fad right now...whenever i go to the beach the kids are covered with them.
I just hope that down the road they don't regret them when they have lost their meaning, have started to fade and sag.....
But like i said, its none of my business! And "6:49".......you're right! I probably spoke out in the heat of the moment, and after i calm down a bit i'll go back to following Adam. He's one of a kind and i pray for BIG things for him......tats or no tats!!

Donna don't worry. I wrote one time that I liked Adam's hair black and I got some seriously rude remarks back form "fans" including Adam's publicist. This is what drives fans away NOT Adam. All you have to do is read the comments on the cover song of" Ghost Town" on Billboard to be truly ashamed and embarrassed for the vicious remarks . I have spent a bu--load of money following Adam's career and realize that most of the shock and awe is for publicity. Tats are TOTALLY a artfad /nothing more and to those that find them meaningful and beautiful YOU go there and respect the people on the other side that find them a dirty looking blob. Adam is addictive,but the music sometimes isn't. "Ghost Town " is a good song and I just think after performing with Queen that you could HEAR that people prefer songs that they can sing along to.' FYE' and 'Trespassing'

Love Adam's voice and wanted to perhaps see him later in his life in movies or Broadway, but forget that now with this last gigantic dark tattoo on his arm. Loved the other non-intrusive tats, but hate that last one. My own opinion, of course. Why do men in their 20s and 30s think that their skin will stay the same forever? Can't wait for TOH album, but not to seeing Adam's tats :):).

Actually it is not very much like Grayjoey's tatt. I have just compared them. Joey has a rather nice looking owl on his arm. But the one on his chest is quite different to Adam's. BTW, Adam said he doesn.t have any boyfriends, and is not dating , except for his album. If Joey is anything at all he is just another hook up for Adam. Adam did say he mingles a lot. He does apparently want to make sure that people who understand symbols, know that he is gay. It will go over really well at the LGBT gatherings.

Adam tends to hang around a lot with some of his friends, who either do not have jobs, or are between gigs. He has been seen a whole lot with Terrance, who is one of his inner circle friends, but Terrance definitely works, but often has time off between gigs. Have no idea what Joey does for a living, I know he likes to take photos, I think that is more of a hobby. Someone said he works in a bowling alley, don't know if that is true, or how they found out, but he seems to have a lot of free time. Most of Adams other friends, are not as available because they do work.
Most of Adams friends don't have a lot of money, and Adam said he likes to treat his friends to meals and evenings out, or at his home.

The inverted triangle was used by the Nazis during WW2 on gays but they were pink. That might be why the gays use it.

Just an observance on my part ... no pros or cons ... but anybody else ever notice the tat 'sleeve' on Roger Taylor from Queen? He doesn't wear short sleeves so you'll have to look for it ... also watch some of the videos on VH1 & FUSE ... a lot of females have a bunch of tats too. For that matter ... all I have to do is sit in the car outside of a supermarket to see the same thing! It's just a trend like a lot of other things & when it's over ... someone will probably come up with a way to 'expunge' them ... JMO

Yes, i've noticed Rogers...but you're right, it IS hard to see. I actually like tattoo's....some are just better than others. And you're right, sooner or later someone will come up with a way to "expunge" them!

I rarely comment anymore , but thought I'd jump in on this. For me it's all Adam being Adam I don't worry or judge I just enjoy the amazing adventure this beautiful man has taken me on. Adam seems happy with things and life right now and that makes me happy.

Everyone has their own vision, as to what is "artistic" and what is not. Adam is his own person and tats are what he views as expressing himself. The phrase "The Original High" apparently means a lot to him and Adam has said in interviews, about Chasing The Original High, those first experiences, in life on a number of different levels. It doesn't matter to me what he does with his body, I'm just a fan of his music, and while I won't do the same, I respect his right to express himself, in whatever manner Adam sees fit. It's not anything that harms or hurts anyone and Adam is not seeking our approval. The only thing that does bother me is that so many celebs seek attention, even when they are not current with a product in their given profession. I hope Adam finds someone or something in his life, so that he's not "chasing".

I think a future original high, might be Adam getting his first Grammy.

Wow, most of you are very immature... It's his body. Not yours. No one said you have to look at the body art. Why do you care so much about it? You should care about his music... And him. Not what tattoos he chooses to get. Its different, like him. Personally, I love the tattoo. It's unique and well done.
