DA Premiere: Adam Lambert – Ghost Town (Tritonal Remix)

Tritonal follow up a stellar 2014 and 2015′s “Ginsu” by shifting their focus from arena-ready originals to doctoring up a radio pop smash. Former American Idol star and singer/songwriter Adam Lambert’s brand new single “Ghost Town” is the latest production to receive the Tritonal treatment. Lambert’s expressive vocals are bookended by gritty electro saws and the sort of hectic yet melodic synthwork the duo have built their career on. The Texas two-some strip out any signs of Lambert’s easily accessible pop instrumentals, crafting an adrenaline-rush inducing big room electro banger targeted directly at well worn dancefloors not radio airwaves.

Went to the link & listened to it ... not bad ... a little raucous in the beginning but otherwise not too bad. Matter of fact ... good job!

I really like how the whistling sound is woven behind Adam's voice while he is singing, not separate from when he's singing. Kind of softens the whistling effect, IMO. I liked this remix, actually. I usually don't like them.

Has anyone heard Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea's 'Pretty Girls"? It's gotten as many views as 'Ghost Town' in less than a day and the song is actually terrible. I'm not joking it's really bad. Just proves you can make a crappy song but it'll get radio play easy depending on who sings it. 'Ghost Town' is amazing, it really is, so I just gotta pray people will hear it and agree. Come on, we're like the best fan base out there, we have this site for goodness sake, ya' know. We, his loyal army of devoted Glamberts will make sure, 'Ghost Town' gets proper media attention. I'm literally going to request this one hundred times to one radio station this week, that's my goal. That multiplied by like a hundred Glamberts here, um yes. Come on he can't do this alone let's get it out there we shall then take over the world with our Glambert power MMWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

Spamming radio stations makes Glamberts look desperate.

I agree @ Dee R Gee and Lambert Outlaw. The beginning is a bit manic but settles in nicely and I'm digging hearing his whistling blended in the background. I usually stay clear of remixes even from the artist but this really isn't too bad at all. It's a good workout remix.

Please don't spam radio stations, it is not in Adam's best interest. What if the person you annoyed with 100 calls turns out to be the person who has a chance to decide what to play.

6:17 PM, of course it has that many views, Britney is HUGE and Iggy has tons of fans as well.

You may not like the song but there is no reason to trash it. Just makes you look sad. I'm sure Britney fans are excited. BTW, Pretty Girls is getting good reviews. Sounds catchy to me. Has a Fancy vibe to it.

Your plan to call the radio station that much will only annoy them, not make them play Adam's new song. There are many ways you can support Adam with streaming, shazaming, buying the single, watching the vid, etc. Please be a good fan with what you chose to do.

We're up to 894K views on Ytube so keep up the good work Glamberts ... we can & will get it to 1 million ... Britney & Iggy are a combination package so naturally twice as many fans are viewing. ADAM only has us on this single so we're gonna have to work a 'lil bit harder for him.
He's worth it!!

Def don't spam radio stations! But I feel your pain 6:17pm, I am a huge Iffy fan, moderate Britney fan, and although the song is gonna be a monster hit, I don't care for it so much, don't love the message, don't love it sonically ... but live and let live, all we can do is promote GT intelligently and appropriately.

Love this remix, working out to it tonight!

IMO, we need to remember, like someone on this site said recently, that there being interest in remixing GT to begin with is a very good thing!

I personally like this Dave Winnel remix. :)
