Adam has a terrific print interview published today at Australia's news.com.au (this is the same exact interview that you would find in The Herald Sun scan within a tweet that Admin Fan posted in the post that follows this one, but of which we had no transcription, as well as on a few other Australian news sites today).  Link is below but, first, here are a few highlights of Adam's responses:

Regarding new album:
"I stumbled over this demo I’d created, called The Original High. I organised a meeting with Max Martin and Shellback...and they got excited about the song and some others I had.  ...  They said: ‘We could oversee your entire album, how would you like that?’ and that was obviously the answer to my prayers."

Regarding relationships:
"I haven’t been in a serious relationship for a while. If I found myself in a serious, legitimate relationship, I’m sure I’d want to share it with people."

Regarding the Q+AL tour:
"I always laugh when I see musicians say ‘Oh, I don’t read reviews’. I personally work very hard. I want to always do my best and beat my best.  I find reviews to be really educational. I want to find out how it went down. I want to see what people are saying and what they think of what I did. I was relieved and excited to see the response, the reviews were really positive."

Regarding musical coincidences with Madonna on TOH ("Ghost Town" & "Ghosttown" as well as the lyric 'rebel heart' in "Lucy"):
"It’s weird, I’d already recorded Lucy before I heard Madonna’s album was called Rebel Heart. There’s something strange in the air, these coincidences."
Note from Broddybounce: one additional lyrical coincidence that was not mentioned by the interviewer is contained in Madonna's Ghosttown:  "...in this mad, mad world."

Thanks so much for posting this GREAT interview! <333

The part about Adam's personal life is interesting ....

"I haven’t been in a serious relationship for a while. If I found myself in a serious, legitimate relationship, I’m sure I’d want to share it with people."

So, if Adam were in a serious relationship now or in the recent past, it seems he would mention it but the only relationship he is in at the moment, as he has said time and again, is that he's dating his album. Let that be the end of it, folks until we hear something to the contrary from Adam himself.

Adam and Madonna are living in a parallel universe

6.02. Agree 100%. But there are fans who start getting excited every time he's seen with certain people and will never believe Adam when he says he is NOT in love and is NOT in a relationship. Unfortunately there are only a few fans so emotionally in Adams love life they cannot let go.
I am hoping Adam does find someone soon so people will finally accept that when he said his last relationship had come to a natural conclusion and was over he was telling the truth.

I think it is very difficult to have any kind of a serious relationship if you are a celebrity esp. in the music industry. With all the promos Adam is doing now for the new album and touring whether with Queen or hopefully for TOH, it is almost impossible to be in a relationship that lasts. You often listen to celeb couples talking about not being apart more than two or three weeks at a time and making the effort to be together esp. if they have a family. Adam will find love and happiness one day. It may not be soon, but when he does, I am sure he will want to share it with everyone.

Adam is a very good friend with all his ex boyfriends. At first it was confusing and difficult to understand. I guess everyone already knows that there isn't any romance between Adam and his ex. If they sometimes spend the night together, so what? Boys will be boys.

When another finds a new boyfriend, they will not meet each other as often, maybe ever. That's for sure.

6:18 AM, sadly this part is too true: "so emotionally in Adams love life they cannot let go."

6:13 - Good one, he he!

6:02; 6:18; 6:37; 7:12 and 7:48
You all are just as hung up on Adam's personal relationship issues as "the people" or "the few fans" you are referring to, lol. The only thing you posted about, double lol.

Adam said that this album says what's in his heart - if that's the case, he must be very sad and confused.
Grim lyrics.

I'm 6:02AM and I'm certainly not hung up on Adam's personal relationship issues - you miss the point entirely. I posted that quote for Adam's benefit.

However, I'm fed up with people going on and on about his ex on this blog. I'm here for Adam's music, not his love life.

Did not miss anything. Wanted you and the others mentioned to see that here (as in so many other threads) you have the freedom, the perfect chance to post about his music, post about whatever else that was said in this interview , yet YOU (as the first poster) CHOSE to PICK UP, to post about the one issue you SAY you are NOT here for. Why do you let it bother you so much then? Post away as much as you want about his music! Gladly will read it. Ignore the comments about relationship issues if they are of no interest to you. Skip over the threads that you see about or are full of comments about relationship issues. Don't take part in those threads. Don't mention or write about the subject yourself. That's the only thing you can control in blogosphere, your own writings. Peace. ;)

11:52, you are so missing the point.

6:28, thank you. I so agree with you.

Only thing you or any fan can do for Adam's benefit is to buy his music plus merch, go to concerts and write favorably on published journals, mags, online publications. This is a fan site. You can't stop people from writing what they want to write about, not here or any other fan site (unless it's a severely modersted fan site that bans relationship issues altogether). Plus the whole entertainment media business thrives on relationship issues and rumors, past or present, fiction or facts, does not matter.
