I really love the songs "The Original High",Evil in the Night","Rumors","Lucy". I get that they are trying to sell pop radio,but some of the songs are a little too over the top on the gimmicks,but Adam's voice is what sells these songs.

Gosh, loved it; It seemed to end too songs, is that it at the end of Heavy Fire. Is this including the bonus songs? It was so good, I guess I wanted it to go forever!! is this the complete album???? Loved all I heard!!!!!

Love the dance music, good for you BB! And from what we've learned of Adam (from what he's put "out there" for years) he is a lover of dance music himself!! So, I'd venture to guess (and of course it would only be a guess) that it was hardly twisting his arm to go for the Pop audience sonically, while still honoring his own Pop aesthetic and love of the sound of this music!!! Go for it Adam, love the "now-ness" of this record!

I saw a tweet earlier that said something like - every other male pop singer singing falsetto today just step aside, just go sit down... or something like that... I TOTALLY AGREE. Jason Derulo's falsetto on his current single (although I like him and his music!) can not even begin to hold a candle to Adam's... and neither can the great Justin Timberlake's imho!! Not ragging on those artists (and they are wildly successful), just sayin'!.

Oh God, Adam is really bring it with the ORIGINAL HIGH. "Heavy Fire" has just blown my mind!!!!!!

Anyone else having problems streaming it? Mine keeps cutting in and out.

Oh my God, have mercy on me, I've just listened to Lucy, yes, that's my song, they are my men, I don't know yet who wrote this song, kudos to them, the song and the grandiose, explosive, magnifique duo, Adam and Brian have blown me away, have "murdered" me!I've listened to it once, I need dozens of listenings to get rid of my butterflies in my stomach. Tomorrow , I'll try to express all my emotion, frenzy, joy, satisfaction , all, literally, located in my stomach , in words.

The Original High "dances"among the same genres , as its predecessors already released, it also follows the same "rhythm"=formula , layers of harmonies, lyrical electronica, energetic/powerful electronica, , a massive, almost rockish chorus , the bridge(quite common, contrary to what I know about the role of a bridge). Adam's vocals can make it a hit as some anons before me have already mentioned , Adam's vocals that reach the skies.
Which of them is the best candidate to become a hit? In my opinion, Lucy, Ghost Town and The Original High.

OH MY! Impossible to pick a "favorite"! Adam's unique voice in these intriguing and intricate songs is thrilling. Nobody else could sing those songs like that. Could there be a "Queen" influence that I'm hearing? .... I've often admired how Queen keeps "changing things up" within each song, avoiding repetition and always keeping it "fresh" throughout. These songs in Adam's new album certainly do that.

Masterful singing and arrangements! Head and shoulders over anything on the 'POP' scene for a long, long time.

Does anyone have a link for UK streaming? I contacted Amazon and they emailed me to say that no streaming is available here before 15th.

Really, really great CD!!! All the first eight are among my favorites, songs of pure gold.

10:26 am, except it was done before the tour with Queen.

It is a different sound for Adam. Lots of electronics, synthesizers, a real dance sound. Usually I skip a song or two on FYE and Trespassing but I think I will be skipping at least half of TOH. All the sounds around his voice are just not my cup of tea. Disappointing.

It's ok if all is not your taste, half is not bad. Adam said there will be something for everybody on this album; so far so good for me. I have heard nothing but mostly praise, all over the internet.

I just can't stop listening; "THERE I SAID IT", getting "THE ORIGINAL HIGH" sound back in the sound of his music. Oh my Precious Jesus; this is so, so good. Unbelieveable, I was hoping I would love, and surprise, surprise; it has brought me into "THE LIGHT"! I wish they were all on YOUTUBE so that I could pick and choose and listen over and over again; while also giving Adam hits!!

I am so darn proud of Adam; he should be very pleased; and I hope that he can feel the love coming out of his GIANT LISTENING PARTY this morning. He has just the magic to turn this stale music industry on it head!! Especially, if this is given the proper exposure that it truly deserves! I sure will be doing my part!!

Happy days are here again in the music world. How can you not just love Adam's voice on this album. It takes you here, there and everywhere. The bummer is I need to get out of here. I keep listening over and over again. I did not expect it to be this earth shaking. People this is really, really good in my opinion. It really speaks to the heart. I just love this man! Heavy fire feels like led zeplin esque,bombastic chorus.I loves all song in TOH.Dont think i will skipp any track.Hopefully he will include sure fire winner,evil in the night and heavy fire in his tour.

@10:57 It was after the first Europe sad US Queen tours when he started working on TOH. He finished before the Eurpeon tour. He has said there was some Queen influence on the album.

He had the TOH on a demo before he went to Sweden, some time before he went to Sweden he met with Max Martin, and they decided that it would be a great fit for an album, and wanted to work with him.

All other tracks are fantastic and have fresh new sound. But since they sound fresh and new, I really don't know if radio listeners will embrace them right away.

Oh my Goodness, I have not heard Heavy Fire mentioned much except on this thread a little; but, that song just reaches down in my soul with Adam's voice. I just love it. Heck I love them all. I just marvel after hearing each one. If this album is not recognized for the treasure that it is; something is terribly wrong with the music industry as a whole. I just can't get enough. Will be glad when my CD's arrive; so I can control how many times I hear each one at a time!! Gonna wear this cd out; that is why I just ordered two more; to the others I have already ordered for gifting.

What awesome news to wake up to, congrats Adam, you have an album full of hits! Love every song on the album.I've been bouncing back and forth streaming the album, listening to Adam hosting on iheart radio and trying to keep up with all of the comments and still watch Ghost Town on you tube. Loving every minute of this.

Finally listened to the stream, except I had to use my little earbuds, because there was too much going on in the house. Wow! I must hear it again at full volume! I do love There I Said It. It is definitely a tear-evoking song. And Dr. Bri does shred it on Lucy. Gotta hear Rumors and few more times before I give my opinion. Couldn't hear the lyrics too well. This album is definitely what I've been calling Adam's "urban angst." Loneliness, searching for love and meaning. I think The Original High has good potential as a single. It's very rich lyrically, with lots to say about the whole theme of the album. I have to say that, so far, I think the ones that have been released so far are the best ones, IMO. If I were to pick a current favorite, it would Another Lonely Night. It's very radio friendly, and the lyrics are easy to sing along with, which is essential on the radio, IMO.

I never hear Ghost Town which pretty much indicates lack of interest in Adam on main stream radio. I don't get it. I will of course support him but I honestly do not see him getting the attention he deserves. He just is not part of the "in" crowd. And the reasons for that have nothing to do with the music he puts out. He is chasing something that may never be. And for those of us who have loved him since Idol, watching this over & over, & waiting & waiting for him to "hit it big" is exhausting & disappointing. I just don't see it changing to be honest.

Well there are about 4 songs that don't do much for me. But I love the others!

I have been requesting GT online with two different stations in Corpus Christi but have only heard GT once. I don't know what else to do. My coworkers and friends don't care for him. Not sure how to get radio play down here. :( guess I will just enjoy the album and stop stressing. Lol

I'm thrilled with Adam's new music! Just heard the streaming and it all sounded great to me! I think this is going to be Adam's big moment!

My favorite place to listen.

During the first couple of years here in this fandom there was some LIGHT talk about having a Worldwide Glambert Meeting on some tropical island, a concert by the Glam One and a huge celebration. Don't know if anybody here still remembers those times and talks, he he.

From TOH the song The Light brought these memories back to me... Would so love to dance/float to this song on some tropical island wearing a long breezy dress made of some colourful LIGHT material and have a fruity cool drink in my hand... Adam performing songs from all his records plus other hot favorites from his repertoire , meeting hundreds, thousands of other Glamberts, familiar tags etc., celebration to remember.... Lol! A girl can dream, right!?! :- )))

Too early to pick absolute favorites, need to listen more! However will tell you this, the combo Adam 's voice and Brian's guitar brought goosepumps all over my body... That guitar sound has been one of my original highs for decades... combined with Adam + his voice... What's not to love!

I too don't understand why Adam can not get radio play or the accolades he deserves. Sam Smith wins everything and gets played incessantly on the radio... Do not understand. If it's the gay thing Sam Smith is an out and rightfully proud gay man ? Just today on the radio I hear yet another new Sam Smith song new to the radio played three times in 4 hours

7:14 pm, calm down. It has nothing to do with being gay. Sam's success is no reflection on Adam. They can both be hugely successful, Adam just needs the right song to hit. Who knows if Sam will survive his sophomore album.

I am also on the "I don't understand" wagon where SS is concerned. I like Sam. Don't love him. His songs are too 'sappy' for me,but hey...he still gets lots of airtime. He is....like others...overplayed imo. Even I wouldn't want to hear Adam ad nauseam.

I too had issues getting the stream to play earlier today. Now once again I've failed twice, could be gb's overwhelming website, has been known to happen a few times. With all this intense promo, foreign promotion etc., we can't say WB has not put their irons in the fire with regard to Adam. I feel Adam has had total management and fan involvement to the hilt. While I did wonder about the advisability of releasing most of the clean version so close to the formal release dates, was scared it would peak too soon, but we have to trust Adam and his management. What we need for Adam to secure the pop success he desires are sales, anything less than the BB#1 spot upon release will not be favorable. The fandom has worked streaming, polls, mv' and anything else necessary to secure this for Adam.

I've had the same problem with not getting the stream and the green arrow to work....so, so frustrating. Then by some luck I was on Twitter and I kept trying each and every link listed and finally it worked! So I've just listened to my first stream and OMG OMG OMG OMG I love the whole CD....yes I do, I really do. Adam deserves huge congratulations for this amazing CD. My favs hard to pick but I gotta say "There I Said It" touched my heart and soul...it's Adam talking for sure.. His voice, lyrics, fantastic. Then The Original High....great beat, excellent lyrics, melody and Adam's vocal range YES!!! I'm not going to bore you with my track by track comment but "Lucy" with the combination of Adam's voice and Dr. Bri's guitar riffs OMG Crazy good...I miss them together so much....what magic. So many other great songs on this CD ..I LOVE IT. This should get a Grammy nod for sure <3333

I just listened to the eleven tracks of TOH on Amazon.com. I will commend Adam for exploring something different. There are many catchy beats and my favorite track is "Evil In The Night." Adam has the BEST male vocals in the business, but for me this album does NOT display his amazing vocals - like in the album Trespassing. I did pre-order the deluxe version of TOH, but vocally the album is disappointing. I give the album Trespassing an A plus. I will wait to get the deluxe version so I can hear the entire album of TOH to fully reflect. Still a fan , but I was hoping to hear clearly those AMAZING VOCALS !!!

Just want to add my 2 cents ... I simply LOVE this album ... never heard anything like it ... every song is fresh & innovative!! LUCY .. I hope ADAM gets to perform it on his SA tour with QUEEN ... 5:52 PM, you are wrong, it's not true that there isn't interest for Ghost Town on main stream radio. There is growing interest. The song is still climbing the charts. It is up to #23 on HAC and up to #34 on Top 40. It is also growing on Spotify. Give it some time, it's doing fine. Major promo coming soon too.

So lucky we got to hear early, but can't wait to get my CD so I can play each song several times in a row, to pick up on all the nuance. I think Adam's vocals are amazing and I hear some rock in several songs which I love! My favs upon first listen of all the songs are "Evil in the Night", "Lucy", "The Original High" and "The Light". I think the time has come for a new single in the US. Am not hearing "GT" in LA anymore. So many to choose from for a new single!

Plenty of gay performers have been accepted prior to and since Adam and things have changed a lot and quickly over the past 5 years in terms of general acceptance of the LGBT community.

Can you name another out gay singer, non-US, that has been accepted since Adam like Sam has been? No, because your thinking has no basis in reality. Sam had a super catchy song.

Also, if you think Sam is so well accepted, you aren't reading enough comment sections around the web.

I have a MacBook Pro Laptop with Safari.. (with the latest operating system OS X Yosemite), recently upgraded from my original OS from 5 years ago.. The album plays (streams) just fine on that.. It doesn't play on my iPhone 6 Plus however.. apparently the IOS 8.3 on my phone doesn't support the Amazon stream.. Just FYI...

glitzylady, maybe it would be good to post near the link above that it only plays on laptops and computers, not phones and tablets.

Sometiimes WHY you are NOT hearing anything can have the simplest of reasons without you noticing or thinking about it....

I was listening the stream for the first time, was down to 4th song...and then it went dead... Had multiple programs on etc. Started again many times, clicked on the green arrow, everything looked normal but got nothing. Then I thought to check the volume and bingo! The volume was down to ZERO --- and I swear I did not touch or do anything to the volume (which was fine and HIGH before the disrupted listening and/or some kind of a TILT of my computer...).. After that "discovery" and cranking up the volume I was able to fully enjoy this gift from ADAM!!! So if the page @Amazon looks alright, you've clicked the right arrow, but you're not getting anything, check the volume button!!! :)))))

I couldn't get the stream to work on my Android phone when I went to bed last night, so I went to sleep and tried it on the computer this morning and voila! I worked out to the album and it sounded awesome to me! Some were posting that they can't hear his vocals as much as they'd like to, but honestly the way it sounded on my computer Adam sounded fantastic. I can't wait to crank it up in my car! It's funny that all the songs seem so short -- maybe it's because your ear doesn't want them to stop?? I can't wait to get my CD and watch Adam on the Tonight Show, etc. This next week is going to be so EXCITING!! And I bet these songs will sound great in concert. ;)
