X Factor may have found an international superstar in Saara Aalto who has signed an epic five-album deal with Sony Music. The Finnish singer has wasted no time launching her music career having already worked with Cheap Thrills hitmaker Sia while US star Adam Lambert is rushing to work with the newcomer.

Sia is not the only musician keen to get in the recording studio with Aalto as Adam Lambert proved to be a fan after duetting with the singer during the X Factor finale. Discussing their new friendship, Aalto revealed: "Adam and I have been tweeting and sending some Instagram messages to each other. He used to have a Finnish boyfriend so he has a connection and can even speak some Finnish things. We immediately connected and hopefully in the future we can work together – he said it would be really nice to do something together so let's see."

This is a perfect example of how Aalto and her team need to control and use discretion as to what they disseminate during her post X Factor period. Doubt that work on album 4 includes Adam "rushing" to her.

Probably media hype.

Maybe they figure out if Adam has some time to come to Finland in the spring and do a duet with her in her show in April. They said there could be some "surprises". Who knows... Adam seems to take some breaks during his creative process. And if he has some new song /single ready then, he could sing that too at Saara's concert at Hartwall Areena. But this is just my speculation.

And Saara says: "Hopefully in the future we can do some work together." She does not say "in the NEAR future" os smth like that, so Adam does not have to "rush" to her just now , lol.

Adam will focus on his solo work, I think. It's not surprising that Saara is hinting that she'd love to work with him. But I wonder if that will happen. He may have been making a polite response to that issue. If the combo is a beneficial to him as it would be to her, I guess I'm ok with it. Guess I'm just focused on Adam's A4 and (hopefully) and A4 Tour more than anything. I'd love to see an Adam/Robbie Williams collab/duet of some kind. Also something else with Nile Rodgers. Nile seems to really like working with Adam.

It might also be a misunderstanding between different cultures. Finns often take "small talk" and politeness too seriously and believe too easily what foreign people say and think they mean what they say when they just want to be polite. But I guess Saara will learn the truths about the "big world's " business ways.

Wow!! Why so much dissention about this?? I think it would be wonderful for ADAM & Saara to collaborate on a song ... maybe even for his 4th album!! I don't think any disrespect was meant by this article ... maybe just went overboard on the hype for a duet ... media seems to do that at lot ... as we all know ... and ADAM just may be thinking in those terms although not out loud as yet. ADAM will let us know if/when the time comes! As for me ... I'm all for it!!

I'm still waiting for Adam to collaborate with Xtina, Gaga, Pink, etc. I loved his duet with Leona Lewis.

JMO - at this point in Adam's career, he needs to duet with bigger names that are known in the US. To the list above I would add Ariana Grande and Rihanna. A duet with Saara would join the ranks of duets with Tove-lo and Laleh - only known by Adam fans by association, and having little or no impact in growing his fanbase in the US or contributing to a big hit. Saara is virtually unknown in the US, not sure that she would obtain superstar status amongst the numerous strong female vocalists we already have. Her voice is not unique.

I hope that both Glamberts' and Adam's own wishes come true in 2017! If he likes to do duets w a little less known artists, it's his business. He likes to sing and perform. I hope that he gets to sing with big names too, if that makes him more known in his own country. Saara might not obtain superstar status in US but she has just started to build her career in Europe. Only time will tell what happens to her. Her voice might not be unique but there are other things that are needed to get the superstar status. What if she gets some big hit all over the world? Has Adam superstar status in US already or does he need some big names to duet with to get there? I think he needs big hit(s) that make him big also in US.

I wish everyone who celebrates Merry Christmas! And to both Adam and Saara a very successful year 2017 with their coming albums and concerts!

(Sorry, this was a bit too much about Saara; I know this is Adam's forum.)
