GUY Sebastian has fuelled rumours about town that The X Factor is headed for the chopping block.
“I think the speculation is probably fairly accurate, it was a disappointing year,” said the inaugural Australian Idol winner from Tamworth, where he was attended the Toyota Star Maker grand finale yesterday afternoon.

2016’s season of The X Factor went through a major revamp with Iggy Azalea, Adam Lambert and Mel B replacing Dannii Minogue, James Blunt and Chris Isaak as judges alongside Sebastian.

The season was marred by Sebastian’s feud with fellow judge Iggy Azalea, who he branded a “bit of a weirdo”. Lambert and the Fancy singer also didn’t get along, with the sometimes Queen frontman calling the rapper from Mullumbimby a diva.

Maybe the show was on its last legs, but I think Adam benefited from being on it. He got to show his amazing personality, not to mention his voice.

I'm sorry for Guy if it's true. But honestly I'm overwhelmed by the political situation in the USA and can barely think of anything else.
I agree DRG, that Adam benefitted and it was a lot of fun to follow. I sure would like to know what Isaiah is doing here in the USA now. My daughter thinks I'm a crazy Glambert but I really need to be especially now.

I don't think those numbers so terrible co suderibg the chopped the show to pieces not allowing the audience to really connect with all involved. Guy has been
One big downer every time he talks about the show. Yes he did not get along with Iggy but he also was part of that on air fued.. Js

Typical of this newspaper getting it wrong, this time misquoting Guy Sebastian. There was an article in an Australian newspaper yesterday where Guy did the interview in which he said nothing about Adam & Iggy not getting along. Adam & Iggy both said via the media that they got along well.

It does seem that The X Factor AU will be axed which is a great shame because Adam said he loved being part of it & would do it again if he were asked.

@lollypop, Isaiah is in the US for the "G'Day USA" program. I posted about it on another thread. I don't know what Isaiah's schedule will be like but I hope he & Adam will be able to make contact.

fluttsp, I went to the "G'Day USA" link but couldn't find anything that would explain what's happening in relation to Isaiah being in LA. I will just have to wait for Isaiah to share more with us. Much as I adore Isaiah, I'm really interested in the photo ops that will include Adam. Good or bad, I admit to being selfish that way.
Thanks for link, it was educating.

@lollipop, I don't know exactly what the program/schedule is for "G'Day Australia" except it's an event that's held every year. I assume/presume Isaiah will be singing, at least I hope so. It's a long way to bring him if he doesn't sing. Hopefully he & Adam will be in contact whilst he's in LA. I'll post any further info I hear.

P.S. Isaiah now has more than 13 million streams on Spotify for his single "It's Gotta Be You".
