This Sunday is gonna be a big one for Isaiah Firebrace — the musician will be representing Australia at Eurovision in Kiev, Ukraine, the biggest singing competition in the world! (No pressure, Isaiah. NBD.)
He
made it through the semi-finals despite a slight hiccup, and on Sunday
we can all cheer him on when the grand final airs on Sunday, May 14, on
SBS.
But first, here are some important things you should know about the guy who’s repping us.
6. He won ‘The X Factor’ in 2016
Isaiah won the 2016 series of The X Factor
Australia — which was also its last season, as Channel Seven says it
won’t be returning this year (unless another network brings it back to
life) — after being mentored by Adam Lambert. His winning single was
“It’s Gotta Be You.”

Hurray for Isaiah! Hope he wins! Adam must be proud of his protege.
ReplyDeleteI just mentioned Isaiah's move into the Finals on an earlier thread here.
Whatever happens at Eurovision, I feel that Isaiah can look forward to a successful career. I love his wonderfully deep expressive voice...and soulful brown eyes!
And imagine how he must appeal to teen-age girls! What exposure he is getting now.
When asked what he'll be doing after Eurovision, Isaiah has said he's doing a promotional tour of Europe.
