A personal note (from @glitzylady): Joey Grey is a truly wonderful friend of Adam's, and I love their long term friendship. Joey is interesting, intelligent, thoughtful, kind, and I very much appreciate who he is. I follow him on Instagram, not because he is a friend of Adam's, although we were introduced to Joey through Adam, but because he is an interesting and complex individual in his own right.  He's had a rough year for various reasons and I wish him all the best.

Objectively, this was not a good year for me; I lost just about everything (except my hair—bless) however, if I’m trying to polish this turd on the day of my birth, I can say that at least now there’s plenty of room for new people, places, and things in the year ahead.
