This is very exciting! Since he is sharing the hour with the 2nd billed artist, I assume he'll be getting about a half-hour, maybe a tad more. So, maybe, he'll get about 6 or 7 songs? 8..? Can't wait to see which songs he picks!

Just as a side note: look at the Spotify player on the Pride website's artist page (link above). Interesting what's most popular! And, oh boy, REALLY interesting, how high on the list is "Running" — ohhhh, the record company really screwed up there in not releasing that as a single. It obviously would have been HUGE! It is featured on YouTube ALL THE TIME as the soundtrack to many, many Japanese anime videos — still to this day! And it is definitely one of my favorite Adam tracks in his catalog — in my Top 5.

Been waiting for the Montreal Pride event and it's almost here! I do hope Adam gets a lot of performance time. We are ALL hungry for it! He's got so many great songs to share.

Thanks for the heads-up on Runnin' on the Pride site. I LOVE that song. It's one of his best and it never saw the light of day except to his fans, up until now, that is. Woulda been a huge hit! But it sounds like he's making money on that song anyway since it's being used so much.

Sue Smith said...

Thank you Lord I miss Adam so much! He can always help you out of the downs. I did very much love Running. It definitely should have been a single. However glad it continues to make some money for him.

Sunflower said...

Can't wait for this! Me too guys I love Running, amazing song. Thinking about the Rapper, I'm not a fan of Rap so I'll find this interesting.

Nanbert said...

Sunflower...I'm not a fan of rap, either. But I'll be in the "front row" for Adam! Finally, something to look forward to!

Patria said...

Gotta admit I have heard some rap that I actually like. I don't have facebook but am looking forward to new appearances of Adam. Never ever to much Adam.

Dee R Gee said...

Can't wait to see what he does!

Sunflower said...

Tonight my peeps! What songs will he sing? Adam is coming on after the Rappers performance so won't be on first thing.

Dee R Gee said...

Excited about tonight, of course!

But I also read that Adam has recorded a song to be performed at the Democratic National Convention! Probably "Runnin'" Hope to see a confirmation soon! There will be some great music at that convention!

Dee R Gee said...

Ok, I mis-read or mis-heard. Not the Democratic convention, but a Biden fundraiser. Still a good thing!

Patria said...

Please be right about the convention, Dee. I wonder if his tweet about trumpers and his gif giving them the finger is his way of making sure it's clear where he stands on politics.

Patria said...

Well, fudge, that was short lived.

broddybounce said...

Just added viewing window of the performance to the top of this post. Sorry for the delay — took a minute to find it.

broddybounce said...

Apologies, guys — the embed strangely wouldn't work on our site, hence the link. I never seem to "get" how Facebook works in terms of embed video, etc.

Is everyone watching (or watched)..? He's terrific — and nice fairly long concert!

Adam is incredible. It went by to fast. He clearly loves vocalizing (singing just doesn't seem like the right word). And he is soooo easy on the eyes.
Swoon!

Sue Smith said...

I finally brought it in on YT. He was fabulous and he looked great. Looked like he may have taped the Montreal performance when he did the JB
Fund raiser earlier on. Watched Adam twice.

Sue Smith said...

On the post under this one. I meant to write The word Charlie. I think Adam's mom has a dog name Charlie. It was a type mistake.

Dee R Gee said...

Wow! It was fantastic! Just like he was doing a big live show in front of a huge audience! Every song was perfect!

Angeladam said...

Loved his performance, "Running"is one of my all time favourites too, he really looks well, not going to get into any poltics on here, but I think he should stay away from it and just keep to what he does best.

Patria said...

Angleladam, you need to get your message to Adam directly, I'm sure he doesn't come here.

broddybounce said...

Patria — great sleuthing! I only looked on all the Adam fan pages I'm subscribed to on YouTube — didn't even occur to me that Montreal Pride would have posted it less than an hour after the concert occurred. Well, THANK YOU — and it is now posted!

Angeladam, while I always encourage discussion, viewpoints, etc. on this site and always appreciate your contributions, I just have to chime in here ... Adam has been espousing his political beliefs for the majority of his career — maybe not to the extent of, say, Barbra Streisand, but he does so whenever and wherever he feels he needs to express himself (granted, moreso during solo appearances, events and interviews vs. Q+AL shows).

So, with every modicum of respect to you, I'm just surprised that you, of all people, who have been a member of our family on this site for years, would all of a sudden now be having a problem with Adam stating his political views. ??? That's WHO Adam is and if he was one to stay silent on those views, as you suggest, he simply wouldn't be ADAM. :) Singing, performing, songwriting, acting, charity work and, yes, using his celebrity to state his political, moral, social and global viewpoints, which he is doing because he feels that will make things better for all Americans and for the world-at-large, ALL of that combined is what Adam does best.

Dee R Gee said...

Well said, broddy! I am a fan of Adam because of who he is as a whole person, not just who he is as a singer. His political beliefs are just one part of the whole. He's a citizen like everyone else and has a right to express his opinion. He is mature enough to know that there will be those who don't agree with him. But he certainly doesn't have to keep quiet about it. His fans can choose to skip or ignore some of his comments if they want to.

As for his performance, I love that he chose old and new songs. Makes me even hungrier for a solo tour!

Nanbert said...

Agreed, Broddybounce and Dee R Gee....Adam feels it is important for his LBGTQ community to be strongly represented politically...especially since they have lost ground during this administration, and stand to lose even more if this administration has another round. Frankly, I feel Adam's views are just as important as "Black Lives Matter"...and are cut of the SAME cloth.

Maybe it would be easier, and less dangerous for his career, to stand back and just watch...but that's not Adam. He feels strongly about this matter....AND I AGREE WITH HIM COMPLETELY! It's not necessary to be Queer...or Black...OR FEMALE...to understand how important this election is!

Oh my....these are such trying times! But saying and doing nothing accomplishes nothing! I admire Adam's courage

Also...Loved his performance for Montreal Pride! He just keeps getting better and better! SO proud to be his fan.

Angeladam said...

Broddybounce I'm really not going to get into a "spat" with you, my comment was my opinion only, which everyone has the right to, of course I respect Adam and his LBGTQ work, but lately especially on instagram, he seems to putting a bit too much in the way of "fingers up gif's" etc, which to me, perhaps he shouldn't (IMO !!)that's all I mean't !! ( by the way I happen to agree with his political belief's) and as you say I have been on here years, so I'm surprised you state "me of all people" suddenly have an issue with his beliefs, which of course I don't as I said before I just think as a celebrity, he should back off a bit with his comments and gestures, so find that comment from you a bit offensive tbh, I'm not surprised though because lately I find this site exclusively 'taken over by the same certain people, who have a problem with anyone who disagrees with their way of thinking, that's why so many of this 'family' have left, Jean Reynaud, Lam-My, etc who have all been insulted by the same few ladies.Anyway I'll say no more on the matter.

Angeladam said...

Patria snarky as ever aren't you LOL ! just what I expected from you though, and of course all of your 'little gang' all stick together as usual, all agreeing with each other, certainly entertaining, because as soon as one of you adds a comment the rest of the flock follow by totally agreeing.

Patria said...

Angeladam, you make it sound like a bad thing when people agree with one another. We do not agree all the time. I have no 'little gang'.

I want you to stop trolling for Trump. I have no idea why you are helping him destroy the constitution.

Dee R Gee said...

Adam is certainly not the only celeb to be vocal about his political beliefs. I admire famous people who speak out because they are vulnerable to a lot of heat from the public. But when they feel strongly about the issues, they speak up anyway. Takes guts.

Patria said...

@Dee R Gee
110%

Angeladam said...

Patria HOW you dare say why I am trolling for Trump and 'helping him destroy the constitution?? are you feeling ok to be so vicious ? WOW that's a really low swipe even for you !! and all because I 'happened' to give a passing opinion of Adam giving the "F YOU" sign and silly Gifs on his Instagram, saying IMO and IMO ONLY !!! I thought he should just leave it, of course I admire him speaking out on various issues as I've said in the past, but IMO the silliness of those gestures didn't do him any favours end of, also for your information, I absolutely hate Donald Trump and I'm in the UK !!
Here we go again though, as soon as I put a differing opinion on here I get bashed by the same old gang of four, your right it's not a bad thing to agree with each other, but having noticed if YOU or any of your little gang disagree with each other that's ok, however when I disagree, (Rosemary in the past, Jean, Lam-My and others) we get verbal abuse, no wonder most of the lovely 'family 'have now left this site and all because of the nastiness and bullying tactics of a few. I remember a while back when Jean Reynaud asked could politics be left off here, she was ridiculed with snarky comments between you and the others after she was given an apology (albeit in a very sarky and way) not very nice really, but there you go.

Dee R Gee said...

Shosh was asked a while ago if Adam would be doing any other shows. She just said that he'd be doing some "bits" here and there. So at least that's a good sign. We'll hear and/or see him around in the coming months. We have to take whatever we can get!

Nanbert said...

Well, these are terrible times...for all of us...and there's not much to look forward to for a long time. Small wonder that feelings run close to the surface. I don't know about the rest of you, but there is little distraction or pleasure in my life besides visiting this website and keeping up with music and news of Adam.

Yes, Adam feels pretty strongly about politics. Being Queer is not an easy path. Remember, there's little doubt that homophobia was the reason Adam lost American Idol...and nearly had his career ruined before he even got started. Unfortunately, politics is often the only way to make improvements...for the LBGTQ's, for Blacks, and for Women.

Adam has the choice between being strident or beseeching, and he has made his choice. I feel most of us are supportive of his point of view, although perhaps not always in complete agreement with his manner of expressing it.

However, As a member of the (much) older/est generation, I really HAVE to admit to often being "jarred" by the "middle finger" gesture, too, the "F" word, the "M-F"remark and similar ways/words of expression that are in such common use among the younger generations these days.

But it's Adam's life...and his generation... his community... and he has to advocate in whatever manner he feels most natural and effective....he's speaking to his peers...in their language! It's about HIS life, after all. And I back his right to do it his way!

In the meantime, I look forward to ANY and ALL performances, interviews, etc. by him.

Patria said...

Dee, I know I teased you about pushing Adam to work 24/7, but the truth is I think Adam thinks like you do. He's always on the look out to get more opportunities. It's his work ethic. He will figure out ways to keep himself 'out there'. Even when he takes a vacation, he shares it with us.

Nanbert said...

Right Patria....Adam treats us like family. And he feels the security of knowing we'll always "have his back".

Angeladam said...

Partia just wondering ??another person's comment about "most of us being supportive about Adam's point of view,(I totally agree)although not always in complete agreement with his manner of expressing it"(I totally agree) and the fact the same person really HAD to admit often being "jarred" by the middle finger too(I totally agree) funny how they weren't accused of "trolling for Trump and helping him destroy the constitution "! oops sorry forgot you have little 'gang' on here, you've just proved it's only certain people that get abuse on here LOL
what a pathetic nasty person you must be in real life !!!

Nanbert said...

Angeladam...how about just dropping this subject now? You are only "flogging a dead horse"! I deliberately gave you a bit of "understanding/support" to bring peace, and you throw it back in ALL our faces! A waste of my time...won't make that mistake again!

When you're looking for a fight, I'm sure there are lots of other like-minded people that will be happy to indulge you.

Adam has the right to pursue his life, career and politics as he sees fit. I FULLY SUPPORT AND ACCEPT HIM AS HE IS!! Thanks goodness he doesn't have your spitefulness and persecution complex!

Nanbert said...

Angeladam....left out a word above...."like-minded people"... ELSEWHERE...."that will be happy to indulge you".

Stop looking for "conspiracy theories" and "gangs" here where none exist! Just enjoy and support Adam and his music.

Angeladam said...

Nanbert I was certainly not looking for a fight ! AND I actually agreed with what you said,(see above) and realise you were being sort of supportive, I didn't throw anything back in your face , however my problem was with your 'friend' Patria and being is called out as 'trolling for Trump, and helping him to destroy the constitution" !! ( for goodness sake !) all because of my opinion ?? just with you saying similar, I wondered why how the same wasn't said to you ? ( which I am genuinely glad for you it wasn't ) however how would you have felt being called that ?? that's why she's obviously she's not a nice person is she ? perhaps I should have ignored the remark or laughed it off, but tbh I think it was a disgusting comment to make to anyone.
Of course there is the same 'gang' on here who delight in being sarky and enjoy bullying others that's why lots have left as you well know ! , I had no 'beef ' with you at all , however you just can't stop getting involved and changing to bring your usual snarky self can you ! I do support Adam and his music and accept him how he is, then you dictate I just drop it as flogging horse unbelievable !!

Nanbert said...

I've had my say. Time to change the subject.

Angeladam said...

Nanbert you always do don't you !! Just remember if such a disgusting comment hadn't been said to me by Patria, none of the following comments would have happened !! I ignored the first snarky comment from her,but I' damned if I'm going to call me what she did without replying I bet you certainly would have, had anyone said that to you ?? so yes time to change the subject but everyone should leave any political comments by you all off here as suggested in the past ! After all it is Adam Lambert 24/7 site !!

glitzylady said...

@Angeladam et al
Been awhile since I've been here but just wanted to say a couple of things.

First of all, lets all try to step back a moment and not join the craziness that is already out there in the world. We've been through so much this year and I would hope this can be a place to gather to discuss, Adam, Queen, etc..

I'm really happy to see that you are all still here, healthy and hopefully have avoided Covid19 and will continue to do so. Such a terrible and challenging time in so many ways. Covid19, the politics gone wild, the upcoming election in the US, the nastiness we see every day right now. The huge concerns, the worry, we have for our loved ones, friends, our country, the world. And of course our dear Adam. What a discouraging and frustrating time it must be for him, as it is for all of us. And of course he has his own concerns for the upcoming election. We all have our reasons, no matter what our own political views are..

I support Adam's right to speak his truth, to have his say regarding politics. He, just like the rest of us, has the right to free speech as an American citizen. I do have to say I felt a *little* concern for his "To all Trumpers" gif that he posted on Twitter. It raised a vast amount of negative and troll comments. And a vast amount of supportive comments. I wish in retrospect that it had been directed at the man himself but Adam said what he said. I have long-time friends who are supporters of Mr. T. and we manage to remain friends in spite of our disagreements regarding our current Pres. We agree to disagree. But anyway...... To be clear, I am personally hoping and praying we have a new administration come January 2020. And that we make it through this pandemic.

And @Angeladam I think what happened here that started this (unfortunate) downturn in the thread was your comment:

"...not going to get into any poltics on here, but I think he should stay away from it and just keep to what he does best."

It's something that we see directed at celebrities (actors, singers, etc.. etc..) more and more now, "just do what you do and be quiet about politics". Welp, in an ideal world, that would be fabulous, and in an ideal world they would be doing exactly that, doing what they love & do best i.e. in Adam's case singing, performing, touring, creating new music, etc., but things are pretty grim and scary right now, and everyone has the right to speak their thoughts, their concerns. As we do here. In reading your comments here I don't think you meant any harm or meant to create animosity with anyone. But it happened. As it does...

Hoping we can all discuss with respect for others. There's too much going on out there in the world right now to have it happening here. Adam is a wonderful, talented, generous, kind man who like the rest of us, sometimes needs to express his thoughts & feelings & opinions. Even if we might disagree or on occasion say "Wow!".. or "Oh my...".

Loved him in 2009 and love him now.

Peace!

Sue Smith said...

I second loved him in 2009 and love him
now and I always will love and respect Adam. He has every right to give his opinion. It just so happens I agree with him completely. If I did not I Would still respect his right to express it.
It is a very scary time in America and its effecting so many economically and every way it's certainly has hit my family. People loosing love ones and can not be there even with them. Racism and hate for human beings for just being who they were born to be is not exceptable at all either. If Adam's fans do not have his back who will except friends and family who are very out numbered. So his fans need to be there for him.
I do not want to argue with any person and I will not. I do not have that kind of strength right now. I just pray to God and will vote that Joe Biden gets in office. That is all I will say on the matter. There way to much hate out there we do not need any here now.

Nanbert said...

So-o-o, all that rumble was initiated by an EMOJI(!) Adam posted on Twitter? Really? Glad I don't "Tweet".

Angeladam said...
This comment has been removed by the author.
Angeladam said...

Nanbert the ones I referred to were on his Instagram stories during the last week or so, the Twitter one was just as silly (IMO) so leave it there now !!!!

Nanbert said...

I don't "Instagram" either. Happy about that, too. Emojis can be silly, stupid, offensive, vile, cute, childish, funny, etc....but are still only generic cartoons. I find them hard to take very seriously.
