Adam Lambert kissed a girl and he liked it!

Adam Lambert sparked quite the controversy when he kissed a man on stage at the American Music Awards last month, but it turns out that the “American Idol” runner up actually learned how to kiss from a girl.
Fox411 caught up with Lambert Friday Night at Z100’s Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden where he told us (and some adoring fans) all about how he wasn’t always into boys.
“When I was 14 yes, I had a girlfriend. She was 18 and her name was BJ and she was from Compton. Can you imagine this little red head kid and a big black girl? She taught me how to make out.”
But the “Idol” runner-up also had some words of wisdom for his fans.
“Everyone should get out of the mirror. That’s not what matters. We are programmed in society to be so hard on ourselves and our appearance.”
Still, that doesn’t mean that he is immune to being a victim of his own appearance. Backstage, he refused Wonka candy and opted for Five mint gum instead.
“I’m on such a diet now,” he told Fox411. “I want to stay in great shape so no candy for me.”
But it’s not the fear of packing on the pounds that keeps him up. Instead, he told us it’s “people not wanting to buy my music!”
And despite a tough year, Lambert’s has resigned himself to keeping to his 2010 New Year’s resolution, which will no doubt help him weather the storm of his AMA controversy.
“I want to continue to stay positive and make my music,” he said.

I AM DYING, THAT'S FUNNY! ROTF! WHO KNEW. IT WAS THE GIRL HE TWEETED ABOUT DURING ONE OF HIS TWITTER PARTYS WHILE HE WAS TOURE. THE GIRL HE SAID HE HAD HIS FIRST WITH, LMAO!... I haven't read past that that first quote, yet. That was a good one. I'm still LMAO. GO ADAM, WITH YOUR BAD SELF! Fierce Adam is indeed fierce.

Oh. My. Gawd. When he said that thing about how we are programmer by society to Be hard on ourselves and our appearance, I just about freaked out!!! I'm doing a paper on that EXACT topic - how the media negatively influences young peoples self image. I'm actually doing research on that topic right this second. It's very interesting how our media influences us to believe that the ideal beauty in America is (for girls) long legged, extremely skinny, and large breasted, and (for guys) lean, muscular and full head of hair. This influence pushes girls to anorexia and bulemia and cosmetic surgical procedures such as breast implants, and boys to steroid use and (not as often) eating disorders. The media wants us to feel self conscious so we will ever be working towards the ideal.
Anyway, that quote by Adam is basically the thesis of my paper!!! So amazingly ironic and awesome!!!!
A big black girl? That describes me completely! I feel special all of a sudden haha.
