Um, why do they have to take a negative slant? Why even say "love him, loathe him, or just don't get him"?? Jeez, you losers. Why not just extole his amazing music, and leave it at that??

^ I think they wrote that just so it rhymes or something. Also, I think as much as we don't like it, there are people who hate Adam :( I don't get the hate on Ohnotheydidnt. They used to like him but now whenever there's an Adam post there, it's filled with hate. I'm talking about the original ONTD, not the ONTD_AI.

Adam is --by his own admission--a polarizing personality. And it's true: you either adore him or really hate him. There's hardly anyone in the middle. Some of the hatred is ignorance. That's true about most things. People generally don't hate once they have information, but all they have in their mind is a image and probably a prejudice. Fortunately, there are enough of us lovers world wide that Adam will have a fantastic career. Hopefully along the way, some of the haters will be enlightened and join our ranks.

People started out hating ELVIS too .... and look how his career skyrocketed ... I have no doubt that the same will be true of ADAM once they get to realize his SUPER TALENT! Of course there will always be naysayers but every really BIG star has those as well. GO ADAM! You're fans will always be here for you!!

adam knows the score and no way it will affect his path to be a superstar. as he said that's what music is all about either you like it or don't.

It's a great thing that TV Guide choose to make a blurb about him ,and with a pic! That means that he is seen as interesting and relevant for a general audience.
It's not a bad thing that they "sell" Adam as controversial "love him or loathe him"-guy, because controversy is the thing that makes a regular person to watch a television show with relatively unknown music in it.

Remember: what adam is making is: ART!!!
and like with ANY art, you love it or don't. I don't like the word, HATE! I also agree, that ppl hate when they DON"T HAVE THE RIGHT INFIRMATION that = IGNORANCE!!!!
So, we LOVE Adam , and there are SOOO many of us, So, let's keep LOVING him cuz, HOW CAN YOU NOT??????

I agree with Anon 11:16! One of the things I love about Adam is that his very existence could be considered polarizing. He doesn’t just make nice, diplomatic statements indicating he likes to kiss boys he SHOWS you and then can sit down and articulate the merits of equality.

Yes, ADAM is polarizing.
Those who hate him are either bigots, prejudiced or as some said not informed.
Those who don't get him, well, they're just not blessed with sound judgment or need counseling.

One of the clues as to how successful an artist will be, is they usually have some strong haters as well as passionate fans who adore them. Adam will be great and he will have many converts over the next few years. All the little children love him. Just check out YouTube and watch some of the videos of children loving his songs.
