Not sure if this is TRUE but apparently this is an email exchange between two SONY employees and one leaked the news that Adam is mentoring for American Idol next week? But be skeptical though because this may not be true. If it is true, then this will be fun!

As for the idol thing, I remember Adam himself saying that it'd be sttrange for him to mentor on American Idol since he himself is the new kid on the block. BUT that would be cool if it happened!

The new season is completely flat. Adam mentoring would bring it to an all time high! He can mentor from a singing perspective, as well as stage presence AND performance. And all that from a rising star who has been through the exact same experience himself. The ratings will skyrocket!!!!! If this happens then the powers-that-be are genius! Time to get out the VCR!

Adam is a once in a life-time find in AI which is impossible to repeat. I am still watching the show but the excitement is gone. Can't help but comparing the contestants to Adam and they all paled. I can't wait to watch Adam on AI again which may relief my Adam withdrawal for a while.
Two nights of Adam is not enough but I'll take it. I will be counting the days until next Tuesday. Adam, you are awesome!
Adam set the bar so high last season with his talent, style and stage presence that it will never be reached by any of the contestants on this season's shows. Their performances are flat, unexciting; they lack that WOW factor. Maybe he can help with some insight as a former contestant who has been through the same experience and is now on the verge of super stardom. Can't wait to see him perform !!!
WOW!!! I am so excited & happy for Adam, he just confirmed. This is a fanstastic news for us as a fans. I was hoping this might happen. Adam will be an incredible mentor, he will help them from singing, performing, stage & lights setting to making their song more original & personal. I can't wait for next Tuesday & Wednesday. AI management make a smart decision, the rating for sure will be skyrocket!! This year it' so borrr..ing.

Yeah Lambrit I saw FYE at no7 yesterday on 4Music too. V exciting! I can just tell he's gonna do well here. People are already saying "Who's this guy? Love that song. He is hot etc!" And great about AI. Lets hope he can get Siobhan back on top form .
