Katy added that only a few men can step foot in the glammed-up music roost, ruled by the women.“There’s only a few men who can get away with that: David Bowie, Prince and now Adam Lambert. There have been some moments recently, like at the American Music Awards, where a male-fronted band came and played, and it was a sleeper. Jeans and a T-shirt and a guitar – it just doesn’t work anymore,” she said. “Unless you’re Bob Dylan.”

She puts him with bowie an prince that's not bad at all. It's actually very good. Adam is bringing glam back and she talked about that. How the old school of t and jeans is not good enough. Well , I agree
She was making a point....and a good one.... in the context of the AMA's. As a personal friend of Adam, Katy was throwing a jab at all those who freaked out over his performance. Good for her! She's got my dollars.

What Katy said is true. Jeans and a t-shirt just doesn't cut it like Adam's glam surprises. He has so many different looks and changes them up so there's something for everybody.I like the less made up look cuz too much make-up sometimes detracts from his beautiful face,but he likes it,as some of his fans too. I love all of his wardrobe.Exciting to see what he'll wear next and he's always well-groomed. No dirty looking scraggly unshaven look.Heart is thumping just thinking about him.Sigh....
