Been reading this blog for many months now and have seen your comments before. Aside from your slight lapse in today's comment, your English is spot on. I visited Portugal and found it quite beautiful and the people so friendly, but am afraid I couldn't even say "hello" in Portuguese. How is it that you are so fluent in English? Love and Light first of all, thanks for the compliments, and secondly, in Portugal we have English in public school since the fourth grade. But most portuguese struggle a bit with English, except in my case, I really like the language so I do my best to learn it. We also have French but that's a language I'm not very fond of.. :-D
Also you asked for the word in portuguese that means "hello" in english, so here it is: Olá.
Plus Portugal receives more Brits than any country in Europe but most British people haven't got the tendency to learn Portuguese, I guess because it's one of the hardest languages to learn, too many words for a small phrase not to mention the intonation in the words...
