Love the song, video confusing, camera angles constantly shifting, I would have liked to see more of the lighting effect of the location and cast.
In any case it should have been more econmical of a video shoot, which is always cool.

I won't go into all the likeable things about this video - but let me say one thing that I LOVE - I love how Adam and his team made what might have been a calculated "business decision", or maybe just shit luck, in that there are so many things that fans want to see/discover/figure out etc., and so we keep playing it and playing it and playing it :). I mean, we hard core fans would play it a lot anyway, but I think even the more casual fans, and maybe even non-fans, will play it alot to try to see Kesha, Terrance etc... Brilliant :)! Again, don't know if it was intentional or not, but great move, lol. I think I just saw a comment on VH1 that it already has 48,000 views or something, I was rushing, not sure if I got that right, or the commenter got it right... but that would be cool.

Absolutely love this song and the video. Adam Lambert is one stylish, edgy, charismatic, and talented performer. He is a dynamic artist both musically and visually. This song is just so infectious...just makes you want to move, to get up and dance. Listen to the lyrics and the message it sends. Love is the answer for all of us no matter who we are or what we have.

The video is working again, although I've managed to watch it several times in other places. I absolutely love it, Adam looks so hot, love the look into the camera at the end, and his eyes when he opens them on the slower bit. Just wish it didn't change pics so quickly, my knackered old eyes can't keep up fast enough to see everyone. Although it doesn't help that I can't take my eyes of Adam.
tO Adamfix, the large creature that pops up is a Chinese Lion costume from the famous Chinese Lion dances. We see them mostly around Chinese New Year where everywhere you go you see big troupes of Lion dancers and drummers out on the streets.

WWFM is not released in the UK in July not sure of date...so we have No idea when If I Had You is set for release...
i don't understand why Adams singles are released so much later in the UK..so i don,t think it will help to request IIHY on the Radio until we have had the release of WWFM
we seem to be months behind the rest of Europe and USA....
I still say this wonderful single is going to be a HUGE HIT INTERNATIONALLY and also in the USA.. its just so catchy and a real get up and go song,it will be hard to resist.

About the video.. I think it's great, sexy, fun and it's going to be a major HIT video on MTV and such..so much light and colour, I love it!!!
But I have to say, there's so much going on, that I think some people might not like it at all and others might find it too confusing.. Thus the theme is there, simple and easy to figure out..LOVE ^_^

I don't know if this comment is already here, but be sure to watch the video on VH1 (161,000+ views and MTV (80+ views). If you only watch it here, it doesn't help Adam. The song is already in top 20 on VH1. Go vote and be sure to view the video several times on both sites.

**Now I'm not trying to be snarky, I'm really not, but I would suspect that "LLWD" is #2 because yesterday the only way someone could play IIHY was in the American Idols playlist in the only way that VH1 offered it, and LLWD came right after IIHY, so if you didn't "catch" IIHY right at the end and replay it, the next video came on and it was LLWD. This is all fine, wonderful, glad to support Adam's friend... but for anyone who is interested - you can now play IIHY a different way on VH1 - where if you aren't paying strict attention to IIHY (like running it in a seperate window and working on something else at the same time) and it finishes and goes on to the next video - that video will at least be an Adam Lambert video. To each his own, but this is what I have done today, here is the link:

to play IIHY on VH1... and this way, if you don't "catch" IIHY right when it ends, and it goes into another video, at least that video is an ADAM LAMBERT video!!

The VH1 home/main page lists Today's Top 5 Music Videos... and I'm thinking that #2 is the beneficiary of a very fortunate order of videos in terms of how we could access, the only way we could access, IIHY originally, and for most of the day, yesterday for the premiere. I know that I, for one, ran the #2 video many times because I got distracted (AL does that :)) and didn't hit replay fast enough on IIHY. And this is all good, glad for AL's friend, I'm sure AL would be glad to help... not trying to be snarky - but I would just as soon run another Lambert video if I don't quite catch the end of IIHY before I hit replay.

(also, if I double post this FYI comment, sorry, I thought I just posted it, but didn't see it, but not sure lol)

My mom was a research librarian, so I appreciate some good, solid research. :)

As to my comment where I questioned whether or not this video would do well in the states - my back up for that was "my gut", which I try to always go with. It's just my opinion.

I find it a bit sad that the further Adam pushes the envelope, the more some people in the US (read: the people controlling what we hear/radio dj's, the US media, etc) seem to freak because it pushes them out of their comfort zone. They think if they can't handle it, and it's kind of "weird", the rest of us can't handle it either. I just think there are a lot of uptight Americans, and this video might be too much for the general public. Adam - please prove me wrong, because I love it, personally! Get down, with your bad-ass, fantasy, glittery, sexy self! The sites you listed all have positive write ups, so I really, really hope this is a big hit for Adam, 'cause I love my boy!!

BTW - did you read all the funny speculation in many of the articles, and from comments people left, about the "Chinese Dragon" in the video? It's been refered to as a Kroft puppet, a giant stuffy, a whacked out teddy bear and some crazy monster from "Where the Wild Things Are". Ha, ha, ha! Laughed so hard reading all that!
