Adam Lambert vs. Lady Gaga: Battle of the glam

Adam Lambert and Lady Gaga both have reputations as over-the-top, eccentric performers. While versed in their own unique styles, both artists have a talent for shocking fans with their exciting concerts. And while Adam typically claims "glam" as his signature style, Lady Gaga certainly gives him a run for his money. This weekend, the two artists will have a chance to battle it out in an important competition.
Adam and Lady Gaga are two of the nominees in the category for UR Fave International Video at the 2010 Much Music Video Awards (MMVAs). Adam's "Whataya Want From Me" video will be competing against Lady Gaga's "Telephone" video.
The Canadian awards show takes place on Sunday night and both artists have a strong chance of winning. But the competition will be fierce this weekend. Ke$ha, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift are all up for the same award.
Can Adam beat out the ladies for the Fave International Video Award tomorrow night?

So fantastic he was nominated period! What an amazing rise to the top (his favorite you know) in such a short time. Just wait until NEXT year....! You never know tho...miracles do happen...
Personally, I feel he's already a winner on so many levels. For someone just starting to get established in the music industry and to be already asked to perform at the MMVAs, not to mention be nominated for two international awards, that in itself is a major accomplishment. That being said, I'm with others in thinking along the lines of Gaga for a win even though Adam is just as deserving. I'll be happy either way and very excited to see him perform and enjoy himself. Win/win situation in my books!

GaGa is Shock. Adam is Glam. I don't find Adam eccentric, I find him stunning. Nothing else to say but I hope he wins.

Interesting quote, "while Adam typically claims "glam" is his signature style...." Adam was doing Glam in LA before anyone even knew Gaga existed. I agree that Adam probably won't win (although it IS Canada, not US). Just so Miley "yes, all 17 year old girls dance half-naked with stripper poles" Cyrus doesn't. Sorry, Adam, but I just can't feel the love for this girl. Whether he wins this award or not, he is taking the WORLD by storm and that's what counts.

Even though Adam should be the winner, I'm afraid GaGa will win. He has put his heart and soul in his music and with that said he is the winner in my eyes!
I really don't care about MMVA, cuz for me ADAM is already a winner...no one can be compared with...so what is the point for finding out who will win. Most of the awards are very "political" these days, i don't trust any of them anymore !!! If i have the chance to watch is only because i want to see their performnaces. (Not everyone has time to vote, so it does not reflect anything) !!
Adam looks amazing on the Red Carpet. Love his classic suit. The camera loves him, and he knows how to emote, doesn't he?
I think Adam looks nervous tonight. This is new to him and I feel he feels honored to be nominated. He will win in our hearts however GaGa seems to be on a winning streak. Mark my work Adams day will come. He is so amazing and it is hard not to reconize his total persona.
I'm watching on Fuse tv right now, waiting for Adam. Hope he wins, but he has come so far in such a short time,he's already a winner. OMG Adam is on now! The world just stopped turning!! sang WWFM so perfectly much like cd,looking stunning dressed in an elegant black suit,beautifully designed white shirt and carmel colored boots. Couldn't tell if they were his fave animal print ones.Performance was flawless, many young fans in front screaming and singing along, knowing the words.Waiting to see if Adam wins fave int. video. Yes Funbunn40 - just saw it live too. Straightforward performance-wise which I think was great - taking a chance to just show just the amazing vocal - which it was!! And man, he is so GORG!! He looks so great.
Sensing, as I watch, that this voting is like so many other scenarios - tons of tweens voting, doesn't seem like Adam can win - but great exposure, that's all that counts.
Well, guess what: MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!!!!!! He so deserves this honor and I am so thrilled for him I feel just a little prophetic (who knew!) and extremely happy to have just learned that Adam won this award!!!! So exciting for him and so sweet of him to thank his fans. Just one of the multitude of reasons why he is so special! Congrats Adam!

Well ... Lady GaGa was GIVEN the GLAAD award .. which ADAM should have won ... IMO ... and now ADAM has WON a more prestigious award VOTED on by his ADORING FANS WORLDWIDE ... not 'presented' to him by a single sect (GLAAD .. LGBT). To me this award shows the LOVE, RESPECT & ADMIRATION for a TRUE ARTIST because of his TALENT!! NOT a poster boy for a cause ... and IMO ... is much more REWARDING!
