Kelly K sat down with Adam Lambert before his performance at the Brown Theatre this past weekend. They chatted about pre-show workouts, make up tricks and even gave Ben Davis a makeover...

It's always great to see and hear Adam, regardless of the context, but it would have been nice had she asked him something - anything - about the music, the tour, etc.

Another great interview. ^_^ Love him more everytime

IKR? I am so glad he is getting all the media attention, but jeez I get tired of make-up, make-over questions and nonsense. Don't these interviewers have anything original to discuss with a magical, musical genius sitting down with them? I am no professional and I could come up with much more interesting topics for Adam effing Lambert! Gimme the mic people!

Any Adam interviews are always great even if the questions are so redundant...but he must find it annoying to be asked the same questions, example make up questions or other old questions over and over and over again! Either way, I love Adam interviews... PERIOD!!!

THAT ring doesnt fit on my finger... BAHAHAHA!!!

Anonymous said...

Not being too forward Adam...what size is your finger then??? so next time we can get you the right size...haha Ok, you don't have to answer this question...TMI :)

I wish they would let the fans interview him lol. We would ask better questions.

Two things: 1.) I believe nearly all the people who interview him are actual fans of Adam and his music, and 2.) Adam has been an open book. We know about his childhood, his high school years, his sexuality and partner preferences, his musical background, what he likes to do in his free time, etcetera. Just what are these new questions???? Please post some of them here at 24/7.

Adam is such a good sport. He really seems to enjoy drawing!! He's so artistic. Why do I think he would do some interesting art work? What a guy.

By now, I really couldn’t care less about the redundant questions. What could she have asked him for us to not know already? Very few things, I guess. And he might not have answered to those questions :)
Just turn down the sound and watch the interaction… well, in all his interviews. I think I must have seen them all on You Tube (I went back to the Idol days since I first heard about the man only in february or march this year! BUT this year I was among the first to see him … in action, no matter what was it about.. I stayed up all night several times to see his live appearances on TV. And I do find myself to be completely and irrevocably nuts, but I enjoy it and not consider treatment :) )
Watch the intensity of his look and the interviewers’ reactions. He shows genuine interest in the person in front of him, no matter who that is. And yes, some are totally boring, to put it mildly. See how some of them really try to stay ..professional but many more just cannot help themselves :-)
By the way, the best interviews I’ve seen/heard are from Australia and UK. Very smart, playful and relaxed interviewers there. And it looked like he enjoyed them a lot.

"...I love a release..." um, yah, well, many here happy to help you out with that BB... maybe work up that sweat and get those endorphins going by activities so much more interesting than a boring old stationary bike BB...

ps. oh come on, half of you were thinking the same thing... since this interview was pretty much devoid of anything about his CD, music or tour, we might as well have fun with it like AL himself did!

Always charming, warm, gracious, articulate and up for anything. So precious and looking real cute as well! Signed, Adamluv

Yeah I thought this was a pretty good and chill interview.

OK, I'm at work, so can't watch this interview until I get home tonight, but read all your comments (and based on those, can't wait to hear the interview!).

Isnt' that part of the territory, when you're a celebrity - being asked the same questions over and over and over...? It's part of the job. Adam, however, is always so fresh and charming even though he has already answered them 700 times.

I had a totally random question I wanted to ask him...it just struck me, this morning, while listening to his cd for the millionth time, that he has the most amazing lung capacity. To be able to hold some of those notes for as long as he does, at the volume level and pitch he does?? Wow. So - I know there are some sports where people with amazing lung capacity can really excel - like cycling (Lance Armstrong), or swimming. I know Adam's been riding a stationary bike lately, but I wonder if he's ever tried any long distance bike rides or swims? He could probably kick ass. I know he's not that into sports, but wow - the potential! Y'know, in his free time. Ha, ha!

and I suppose also, regarding the repetitive questions, not everyone who may be accessing this interview is an uber fan like we are... like the viewer question who wanted to know about AL's celebrity crush - well, maybe that girl is just now getting onboard the AL express (hard to believe I know, but it is possible I suppose, LOL) and AL is such a savvy businessman, he knows this, and it's part of his job to reel her in, and if answering her question affably and energetically does that, then I'm sure he's happy to oblige (and he's just nice it seems :)). There is obviously the potential, with each and every interview in each and every city, for many in the listening audience to be newbies - so maybe to them some of the answers that we've come to know by heart are new. Eventually all will drink the koolaid, right, resistance is futile :).

First of all, I thought interviewer was lame. She didn't have any good questions except what we sent in. But Adam sweet as usual.
Second of all, can't believe he doesn't have a contract with MAC makeup...
Thirdly, I think he and Matt Bomer of White Collar series would be a killer duo...He and Adam have killer eyes, hair, smile and Matt is in LA...PLEASE check him out...

I thought the same thing today as I watched White Collar, that he and Adam would look great together. Both Hotties!
I want to thank funbun, julia, glitzlady and adamfix for welcoming me to this site. I don't get to be here as much as I would like, but i need to get my Adam fix whenever the body is willing.

The more I listen to sweet Adam, the more I love him. What can I say, yeeehhh, quite repetitive questions, but sweet Adam is so naturally smart and well articulate, always have a different way to give the same answer adding something new or funny. More good words for my ears and vocabulary. So, let them go, the stupid and misinformed interviewers. While sweet Adam answers by heart the same question he may take his time «planing» new surprises for us in a next show.

Adam was tired and must be so bored of the same
old questions! Does anyone EVER want to talk about the MUSIC! And give him a cute guy to conduct the interview because it's about time.

@anon. 3:23 pm ... Hi! I had a whole post re: Matt Bomer but something happened & it got WIPED OUT. It seems that according to answers.com ... Matt is in a meaningful relationship where there are children are concerned with one of the bigwigs of the USA TV channel ... Simon Halls ... so I guess our hopes for he & ADAM are very remote ... but I AGREE with you ... Matt is GORGEOUS too. Check out that article ... it's really a blog with a bunch of comments from the GAY community! Very interesting ....

Sorry ... but it would have really been nice to HEAR what they were saying WITHOUT that horrible noise in the background. Very distracting from the interview ... plus yet another make over?? Do they think ADAM is a cosmetologist? I want to hear about the music ... not the make up ... who got this girl to do this interview? Oh ... Pleeze!!
More music ... less make up tips next time!

This Lyndsey Parker 2-part interview is one of the best Adam interviews I've ever watched. Adam talked a lot about his music.

OH, that was just about adorable - he just makes me smile until my face hurts. Love these interviews and to pick them apart as good or bad seems ..... trivial. HE is what they are about and HE is always perfection!!

Saying "Hi" to Phyllis, good to see you here again! And thanks for your kind words...

...And about the comments re the redundant same-ol'-same-ol' questions: I think those who said that the questions are boring for us long-time Adam fans but may be interesting for those just getting to know him, makes a lot of sense.... Although the questions about make-up tips ARE pretty lame....You never hear anyone asking Beyonce those questions....Many of US could definitely sit in for Adam and give the same answers because we know them by heart :-) , but Adam DOES have that ability to make anything seem amazing and totally new. As some others said, just listening to his voice, watching his face, and watching the face of the interviewer becoming totally smitten with him, if they weren't before the interview, is worth it no matter what is said! And as someone else said, he is so open its hard to come up with new questions (good point...), at least ones he could answer without giving up every last ounce of privacy that he has left!!! I have a few I can think of, but they are probably better left to the imagination....and I think he has probably answered some of THOSE already somewhere....

can anyone tell me the name of the singer that Adam loves to listen to now. Last name sounded like Morris or Mars, not sure. He said he had amazing voice not heard too much these days for male singers and Kelly said yes "like you".

Bruno Mars - Enter him on ITunes and listen to snippets. Sounds good but NOTHING compared to Adam. Also he mentions Miike Snow. Nice voice but again, Adam blows them both away with one note. I keep going back to the sound bite from Iowa and his impromtu play with Ray of Light by Madonna. Wish she would release that song for him to perform - it would be stupendous!!

Just re-watched this interview because there wasn't much from last night's show...this is actually a really good interview! Stuff that stands out to me the most are:

- thighs are looking good
- there's nothing wrong about taking pride in your appearance... then the sweet lips reaction
- how humble he is!...dishwasher is a thrill:)
- that ring doesn't fit in my finger...hahaha

- he's bad at favorites...good answer Adam

well, I don't think they really know Adam yet so they are not sure what to ask
