I can't believe that they got to be THAT CLOSE to Adam and failed to ask a decent question. My God,I would have fired as many as I could IF I was not busy fainting.
What a wasted opportunity! He is so patient and charming though and beyond gorgeous. I would have not been able to take my eyes off of his beautiful eyes. LUCKY GIRLS!!!!!!!! I BET he smells good. Ummmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lmao at, 'use ur words'. I actually give kudos to these girls for being able to act calm and normal, and to actually speak. As much as is sucks, and I don't like having someone who has this much power over me, I really don't think I'd be able to sit there comfortably and 'normally' like that with Adam LOL. I wouldn't be able to think of a single word, my mind would be completely blank and I would be so tense hahahaha. I Know Adam himself would hate that Lol...and like I said, *I* hate it... but this man has me completely and utterly star struck. He is not real,or he is more than human... Sorry Adam :P LoL!!

I think they did quite well considering the circumstances. Dictionary reference: circumstances - Adam Lambert. If I were able to sit that close to him, his pants leg would be all wet from my drool and I'd ask pertinent questions like, "Uh, um, der, da, giggle, oh, duh, hmm." And I'd be so proud of myself for staying in the moment I might lick his cheek or just jump him.

It was ok, could be better, but considering these girls don't do this kind of thing, they did ok! at least composed being that close to Adam while doing the interview! Nobody does interview that close! I like the intro by Adam, BIG HELLO! that was the best part...lol

This is kind of off topic but ... I was watching Y&R soap today & LO! & Behold! there was Michael Slezak from EW ... he did that 11 part interview with ADAM right after Idol. I was shocked ... okay .. 'nuff said.

re: this interview ... not too bad ... at least they didn't ask for a MAKEOVER like everyone else did. Don't know if I could have been so cool in the moment sitting next to/touching ... ADAM!!

I think its very refreshing to see Adam be interviewed by these young ladies. Yes they weren't paid professionals and I'm glad to see a more natural interaction, almost silly and friendly - like I would expect Adam to be with his friends.

I thought they were extremely composed for a couple of obvious fans. Don't know that I could have done so well.

Adam apparently got new gauges along with new tattoo and nipple piercing.

Thought the girl on our right (Adam's left) was adorable. The other one didn't seem as comfortable. Overall, I thought it was cute. No big deal. Just fun. Gauges are not my favorite thing, but that's me. I'm old school, and they are all the rage with the kids.

OK, seriously...what do you think he would've done if one/both fo these girls had suddenly climbed onto his lap and licked his cheek? Just curious. Not that I would EVER do that, if I met him in person! ;P

I give them kudos for not passing out and being able to speak at all. He's is always so relaxed and in the moment.He just looks like he has fun no matter what he's doing. I'd look for any excuse to touch him! Lucky girls!! funbunn40

the girl on Adams left did really well, and seemed very natural, the one with the long blonde hair seemed to touchy feely, and it felt she was kinda invading his space too much, and didn't have anything to say. But then god knows what I would be like if I was in their shoes.

Lucky girls but sorry they were not prepared. Adam is fabulous in any situation and so adorable......and he uses my word "yummy"..loved that.
If anyone is still around after my post...the second Atlanta concert was announced for Sept 15. Anyone from 24/7 going? Cuz I am seriously considering this concert as 'my chance'.

The short haired girl interrupted everything (nerves I guess), long haired girl tried to give their names ... shg interrupted; Adam tried to answer several times .... shg interrupted. I'm sure it was just nerves (and a couple of drinkies) so I really had to laugh. Kudos to Adam for his patience. LOL

That was just....painful. Didn't realize they were fans at first and I thought that is the most ridiculous, unprofessional interview I've ever seen.

I can understand being flustered around him but they had a great opportunity to really talk to him and they blew it *sighs sadly*

Um actuall, I like Hanson... When I was about 13-15 they were my favourite band and I was totally crazy about them. I carried Taylor's picture around with me and had posters all over my room. Then I started to listen to metal so I put them to the side. They're really nice guys and very talented. And they are from Tulsa.
But now I LOVE Adam and will support him 100%! He gets all my love now! He was such a poor baby in that interview and those girls seemed brain-dead. Maybe it was the stress. I probably would've shit myself if I was sitting so close to AL.

That was fun .... yah, they were not "professionals" but weren't we just complaining last night that the so called professionals asked the same questions over and over. At least they did not do that. They were like 3 silly friends just kibitzing about stuff as it came up and it was charming. He seemed totally prepared for the casual nature of the time, boyish, hat backwards, laughed a lot - really put them at ease by being so laid back and silly too. He is friggin' amazing with people - definitely needs his own talk show. He just has a way of reflecting the tone of the moment and catching the manner of the interviewer and still being just genuine, adorable ADAM!! There is a line in a Gaga song that makes me think of Adam all the time - "....someone as real as fabulous". Line from Paper Gangster

Was so funny to see you use it in your post. Are you the one who asked me about how Massachusetts was receiving AL because you had grown up in Webster, MA?? I said recently in another thread that I think Mass is jumping on board pretty quickly! Anyway, thanks for the laugh.

and oh, regarding this interview, I hope I don't offend anyone (I like it so much here at 24/7, don't want to offend anyone intentionally) but, although I totally understand the criticisms here, totally get it, I have to say that the demographic that these girls represent is uber important to AL's ultimate success (stating the obvious I know). It wouldn't surprise me if these girls were hand-picked for this interview by someone on the scene from Adam's team (maybe it was a contest/winner sort of thing, I don't know obviously) because the fact of the matter is, seems to me, just my POV, is that the older-than-tweens but under 25/30 crowd, especially females, is a key demographic for AL... that doesn't need to mean any disrespect towards older fans!!!! but I think it's a reality. These giggly, hiply dressed etc. girls can potentially reel in a lot of new fans that, seems to me, AL could use to continue his success on the Top 40 and pop music scene, which AL seems to desire. He needs their buying power and demographic and all that their demographic represents business-wise, and that doesn't need to mean anything negative towards any other dimension of his fanbase (including, for example, fanboys, who might feel a certain cense of ownership towards AL). AL seems to want to be all-inclusive, yay, and this demographic one is an important one radio-wise I think. I know everybody's critiques of this interview here were totally lighthearted, and I AGREE with most of them actually :), but I'm sort of happy to see it, for what it potentially represents for AL's ultimate long term mainstream success... happy like I was when my 14 year old neice said she is finaly totally in to the FYE cd that I bought her, and is in the process of turning all her friends onto it as well. And anyway, yes, like some of you said, I don't know that I, with a few more years on me, could have been any more composed than these two young ladies :)!!! And, one more thing, all of this is not to say that I wouldn't love to see/hear/read another in depth interview like, for example, that which Lyndsey Parker did for that "front porch" interview!!!!! In fact, I'm craving one... and who knows, maybe an interview like that is just over the horizon...

@MassGlamFam... You make several good points and have to agree. Giggly as they may be, these girls represent an important part of Adam's target audience, I know I wouldn't have done a better job at their age.

P.S. @anon 11:14 a.m. You obviously havent been to a show yet. Yes, there are cougars (40 and above), but somewhere along the line Adam's audience shifted to large numbers of 30's and under.

I admire Adam for being so fresh and genuine in all circumstances! With all the fame and success, he's still a very nice person inside out! You can feel that all he wants is to share his MUSIC and spread LOVE and JOY! That's why I looooove you, Adam!

I hate that Adam has to tolerate this kind of BS!!I was unfortuante enough to sit beside these two "fans" (and that is a term I am using loosely) at the concert and they were so wasted they didn't even know where they were. It is a shame that the radio station didn't recognize that they were in no shape to be interviewing him and let some other more deserving fans have the opportunity. Someone could have just told these two drugged out idiots they had interviewed him already and they wouldn't have even known the difference. I would not want to miss a thing Adam did or said and they have no clue they even had the privilige to be in his presence. They could not even formulate one articulate question. Poor Adam, he tried to make it work by asking them to ask a question and they still failed! He is incredibly patient! and BTW, KY is not full of hillbillies...at least we don't show up for concerts naked wasted!
