This week on the "American Idol" airplay chart (powered by Mediabase and USA Today), Adam Lambert is holding a great deal of power -- as a matter of fact, he holds two of the songs currently in the top five. "Whataya Want From Me" is still holding at #2 on the chart, and this week "If I Had You" jumped two spots to number five.

So what are we looking at here in terms of spins? The newest single off of Adam's "For Your Entertainment" brought in 4,083 spins -- which includes a #23 position in the Top 40 chart and #30 on Hot AC. If he keeps up this current pace, Adam will likely finish next week with "If I Had You" at #4. He could pass "Whataya Want From Me" by the end of the month.

1 1 Carrie Underwood, Undo It (6937)

2 2 Adam Lambert, Whataya Want From Me (4960) (#7 AC)

3 6 Fantasia, Bittersweet (4587) (#14 Urban, #3 Urban AC)

4 4 Daughtry, Life After You (4181) (#6 AC)

5 7 Adam Lambert, If I Had You (4083) (#30 Hot AC, #23 Top 40)

6 3 Kelly Clarkson, Already Gone (3928)

7 5 Kris Allen, Live Like We're Dying (3909) (#8 AC, #29 Christian AC)

8 8 Daughtry, September (3368) (#32 AC, #9 Hot AC)

10 10 Carrie Underwood, Before He Cheats (2234)

Another star has been added to the short Idol List--Adam Lambert. When one thinks of the many who have graced the Idol Stage over the years, it's interesting to note that the same few artists are viable--Kelly C, Carrie U. Daugherty, Adam L. a short list indeed! but a good one!!!!
