Incredible! He is part of a stellar list of established singers. And it's no nice to see on the Singapore F1 Website that they're mentioning Adam Lambert, no reference to AI anywhere. So, so refreshing to see that he is now considered, outside the USA, as a true superstar. Now, come on USA, can you please start prefacing every article on Adam with his name only (the whole world knows who he is and his past two years achievements -- no need to associate his name with anything else than 'singer/superstar/world phenomenon', etc.

I don't see on VH1 any adjective associated to the names Daughtry or Carrie Underwood when I see articles about them. It's time that the media recognize Adam Lambert as the true singer and performer that he is. I'm going to post this on AO as well because I feel strongly about this.

This event is huge, there will be entertainers from all over the world. Millions of people coming to enjoy the shopping parties, every form of art you can imagine, including singers and bands.Adam and his glamily better hold hands or they might get lost in the crowd. Better have all cell phones in working order LOL I wonder if he will get to do his whole show or just a portion.

AGREED!!! Also somewhat insulting to Cyrstal B. as she is the reigning Runner Up. If anyone on this planet doesn't recognize the name Adam Lambert without AI attached, let us know. We will enlighten you. Personally, I think AI milking the associaation for all it's worth. Nigel made a statment recently hoping to find a Adam Lambert in SF again. Good luck with that!

Violetg -- There must be other acts between Daughtry and Adam because the website shows Daughtry playing at 6:00 PM and Adam at 11:20 PM. That would be a good thing. Also, I personally would rather see a singer like Adam perform later in the evening, when it's dark, especially with the lasers and his awesome costumes. (not much ambiance at 6:00 PM when it's still daylight).

just for info, 6pm in Singapore I think is starting to get dark,(so the lasers would show up) its near the equator, even in HK its dark by 6.15 in winter, 7.15 in the summer.

anon 6:55, there's a Studio Festi perf at the area beneath the stage fr 8.45pm, but other than tt there is no perf while the F1 qualifying race is on. Do they usually bring lasers for outdoor venues? I really hope to see them! =)

I don't think she means US dollars. But concerts are more expensive in Asia than the US I think. I've just got my (standing) ticket for Adams HK concert and it was HK$890, which I think is around 80UK pounds,(95 Euros) not sure what that is in US$'s. And I haven't seen any mention yet if there's a supporting act. My friend is coming with me who really liked Adam on AI but hasn't heard much of him since, so I brought her his CD the other day so she can learn the songs.

I don't often waste time wishing I was a richin' but this would be one time! Hot, Glam Formula One cars and Hot, Glam Adam in beautiful Singapore - it would be sensation, sensual overload! Hope there is good vid coverage!!
