OT but read a very positive great review from Houston Chronicle (?) and then all the positive comments that followed, one very moving comment from a mother of a 14 yr. old son with autism and other problems. She was concerned about taking him for fear of how he would respond. She waited to go inside until Adam was to go on. She said he performed for 75 min. (?) and that her son was up dancing and enjoying the show just like all the other kids that were there. It brought tears to my eyes. A mother responded to her by saying that her son was also autistic, watches Adam on videos all the time and calls him "His man"! There is something truly special and remarkable about Adam Lambert and we are the lucky ones - those that see this quality in him. Adamluv

They should really have more lights (maybe portable ones?) when Adam and the rest of the guys are out signing... imo

Quite a touching story there, Adamluv ♥

Very heartwarming story, Adamluv.

ZZ I know why I'm sobbing, just watched 7 Pounds with Will Smith on Netflix. Never saw it before, and it hit me like a ton of bricks.

hey peeps, i just thought i'd check to see how ticket sales are going in the uk....
DRUM ROLL PEOPLE.....
Manchester and Birmingham are SOLD OUT...
they only went on sale less than 3 hours ago...

how amazing, and woo hoo Brit fans haven't let me down...part of London is sold out but you can still get tickets. and still for Glasgow....

Congratulations magnificent Adam....

Chezza-sherbert/brit fan :D xx

sounds great for the UK, but looking at the seating for them, they're really tiny, Birmingham is only 600 seats. Maybe they will have to change to a bigger venue like Australia.

@Adamluv & fans - Although I'll say just about anything on here about me and my fandom :), I try not to say too much about my family, nuclear or extended... but I just wanna jump in on this thread and say a little something I've been wanting to post for a long while now - which is simply that I have a family member, not in my immediate nuclear family but close to me, who is an autistic teenager - this family member loves Adam Lambert's FYE cd and always responds to it!! So I consider my autistic family member a full-fledged and active member of the extended "Glamily" :)!! We share our love for and responsiveness to Adam Lambert, and it's a fulfilling common bond.

Thanks for talking about that...I also have a young, but in this case immediate, family member who is "on the autism spectrum, non-specified." which is one classification in the broad range of autism, and "high functioning"...and is a fan of Adam as well...and will be going to the next concert here, the Puyallup...She is quite excited and has her outfit all picked out...and is a little bit in love with our boy...just like the rest of us!!!! Its a wonder she hasn't worn out her much-played CD that I gave to her...

Speaking of ticket sales...

2 tix to sold out Tunica show, Section B, Row J, Seats 11 & 12, $50/OBO each (face value, plus TM fees).

2 tix to NOLA, Section 7, Row K, Seats 1 & 2, $50/OBO each (face value, plus TM fees).

1 ticket to NOLA, Section 3, row B, seat 2, which is a 4th row seat close to the center, $150/OBO (paid StubHub $250). This would make a great upgrade for someone going solo, solo...

Only two of these tickets are actually mine (I upgraded). The others are for friends.

DM me at AdamisGodXXX on Twitter or email me at adamisgodxxx@aol.com for more information. Thanks!

These films just say it all - such loving chaos pours out to this special person who touches us in a way that can probably never be fully explained. He's got to be getting so tired and the tedium of repetition is just mind numbing - like he said, feels like a hamster on a wheel sometimes. But, he never forgets that each performance and each crowd is unique and their moment is precious and real. I hope he makes some changes for the world tour - clothes and songs and order, etc - just for his own sanity!!

We are all loving Adam here and supporting his concerts but please request IF I HAD YOU on all the radio stations online and in your area. He was up to #10 on POP Songs and he has fallen to #15.

@ adamisGodXXX,
just want to say that as a lurker on MJ's, really enjoy reading your comments. Have yet to work out how to post myself, and always seem to be playing catchup with the threads, but enjoy reading them.

@AdamisGodXXX / 8:30AM - I want to second what HK fan said - I lurk on MJ's too, and enjoy your commnents as well... cool group over there!

@glitzylady/8:28AM - thank YOU for sharing as well. I would love to hear how your little fan makes out at her GNT concert, if you are comfortable with posting about that. I'm so very happy that your girl is "high functioning", yippee; it would be lovely if I could say the same for my close family member, I can not, but this relative has brought so much unconditional love and depth to our family, I choose not to wish away what this unique being is and focus my energies instead on what perhaps can still be.

OT.My neice has a high functioning autistic son and another with Asbergers Syndrome[another form of autism]. They are our family's angels and bring us so much. Every time I go back to Chicago we go on a family field trip. Crowds can be intimidating, but they are fortunate to have a great support system and were diagnosed young enough to gain valuable time to help them. It can seem so isolating, but it's very prevalent in many families and the Autism Society offers support. Thanks for sharing, MGF and anon 7:59PM. It touches many of us, more than most realize, and I can't wait to tell my neice about your 14yr. old son. The littlest things can bring much joy. Adam has such a pure , kind heart that I think is instinctively felt by other sensitive souls. funbunn40
