I love to hear him talk as much as I love to hear him sing. Great show. Would have loved to hear him sing a little more and maybe actually sing one of the songs from his CD which hasn't been released as a single. Loved it!

Recorded it and have already re-watched it 3-4 times. Love when I can fast-forward thru the commercials. Thought E! did a good job of presenting Adam and his story, even tho it was of course too short. Loved what everyone said about Adam -esp. Barry Weiss of RCA and Rob Cavallo. Must go watch it again --- now!

I just watched much anticipated THS with our BB. I have to say i was impressed, great job E now we need another hour for the last 6 months of epic glamation tour(didn't cover much on that)That's o.k. I was happy and did not watch AMA even though I could of (1 hour before and 1 hour after , but I didn't YAHOOOO>!

I watched E! Hollywood Story pretty much twice..once by myself and once with my husband and we both loved it, and I do agree with comments above that it could have been MUCH longer!!! I thought they did a great job and loved all of the pictures of him and the interviews with his former teachers and his family and friends..He has such a great circle of love surrounding him, its no wonder he turned out so well and is such a loving soul himself..Looking forward to the next installment in the story of Adam Lambert...He makes me proud to be a fan..

Adam was great as usual, Adam looks just like his dad when he was younger but Adam def. got mom's beatiful eyes............indigo.

Great show, but they didn't once mention his top videos. Kind of surprising. And I thought there were no charges to the alleged scuffle with the paps? I wish they had focused more on talent and less on the gay issue, but I still loved it, recorded it, must go watch it again now.

Wow - agree with all of the above comments! Yes, Carmit is extremely beautiful...SHE almost looks like a glittery alien, with those big luminous eyes.

I thought they did a good job of recapping all that has happened up to this point (or to the point at which they had to wrap up production)...warts and all! They couldn't very well leave out the AMA's, the scuffle with the pap, etc. Those things, as depressing as they are, are a part of this crazy journey he's been on!

But finally somebody mentioned Donors Choose and how devoted all his fans are! They showed him giving Tommy a lick on the lips during one of the shows (I thought that was pretty progressive). LOVED the interviews w/his past teachers and the voice coach who teared up when he sang Mad World. Awwww - we're right there with you! :)

Yes - Adam's parents are amazing...they truly molded his character. And, I think it shows Adam's intellect that he never went to college yet is such an articulate and intellegent person.

Thanks 24/7 for getting this up so fast for those unable to see it on tv. I was hoping all on this site would not miss it and you really came thru' for them!! I saw it and also recorded it on my daughters dvr so family can watch tomorrow. E did a great job. Loved seeing the early videos of Adam and the family and hearing Eber, Leila and Neil's recollections. What a beautiful baby and young man and Neil as well, such an exceptional, loving family. Adam was honest and thoughtful. I sensed a vulnerbility and some sadness when relating his lonely adolescence, a serious interview for him and very touching. I think it will give strength and comfort to those living it now. I think there is a much bigger plan for him than even he realizes. He has the power and sensitivity to change so much negative energy with his honesty and loving spirit. He truly is destined for greatness. He is very muched loved by people that know him well and they seemed to realize early on that his being different was a gift to be nurtured and supported. You can see the awe and pride of those that helped shape him. He has loyal friends and co-workers that see that deeper,generous side of him. Like those above, I wished it were longer, as there is so much to Adam well worth a mini-series! So much to share, especially his music. I wish I could see every childhood and grown cruiseship and theatre performance. Like Fan4fun's special name for Adam,"Diamond Boy," he is so mult-faceted with many layers for his 28 years. He radiates love and I have been infused with his beautiful energy and am also proud to be his fan... funbunn40

E did an excellent job of cramming so much information about Adam in the hour show. I think we got a very cohesive picture of a person destined to be a star. It was better than I had expected. I saw news bars along bottom of E where Bieber won about everything at AMA's. Wonder how all those Other artists feel about being locked out by a young kid, who is more a fad than anything else when they work so hard to be where they are.

Glad Adam not nominated this year. Would be a bitter pill to be beaten out of everything by Justin Bieber.

I agree with you. I believe that Adam's destiny is not only to sing and entertain, but to open the conversation about diversity, acceptance and loving each other for who we are. He has inspired me at age 58 in more ways that he will ever know. Our teachers come at all ages.

And I also saw a sadness and vulnerability in his eyes at a few times during the interview. Although he lives with love in his heart, not everyone does. He is an inspiration to many. funbunn40 you said it so perfectly, so I will stop now and just say "ditto". :)

OK, I scampered off to catch up on some of the other threads, but came back to say: 24/7 - thank you SO MUCH for posting this show!! Thank you so much for posting. I watched the U-stream as the show was airing and have watched all these YT clips twice. If it wasn't 4:20AM here, I would watch it all again. E! did a fabulous job. I love the show and I especially love, love, love Adam Lambert.

That was really a good show! It was fun to see what they filmed at the San Diego concert, since I was there. I also enjoyed seeing Adam's friends close up and to see what they look like. Had never seen Lee Cherry before, since he's always the one taking the pictures! Scarlett, Carmit, and Alisan I've seen pictures of, but never closeups. Wow, Scarlett was with Adam in Hair -- she's been a good friend for a long time! Loved Neil's parts -- both Neil's and Eber's snarky, lovable personalities came through, as did Leila's warmth and love. I guess the most moving was Adam's voice teacher -- how wonderful for her to have him as a student and vice versa.

All in all, I was kind of expecting a sensational take on Adam's life, but they seemed to do an honest recap of his growing up and his experiences. Being a huge fan, I didn't learn anything new, but I thoroughly enjoyed it all. I think non-fans or casual fans seeing this will get the "real" story, and I'm grateful to E! for this!

OMG I thought that E! encapsulated so many of the missing pieces that I have always wondered about even after devouring EVERYTHING I could find on the internet. He does have amazingly supportive parents, not to mention Neil.

It breaks my heart whenever I hear of Adam's loneliness and confusion as a young man. It is heartwarming to see the emergence of a cacoon into a beautiful butterfly in such a full circle story. Either !E really did their homework, or once again, Adam had his hand in shaping this beautiful story. I enjoyed seeing his friends and band mates such as Brooke up close. I would love to see everything else that didn't make it into the final cut. Thanks 24/7 for hearing our pleas to get this to us so quickly.

Thanks Adamfix and 11:18. We get him and see more than the talent. Adam opens my eyes and pokes me to really think about issues that didn't personally affect me, but occasionally passed through my thoughts. I'm very aware that one person can make a difference and change the course of a person's life. Several were there for Adam. I hope by watching this program it will poke people to lift up and not tear down. You never know what rare gems we can encounter. I really believe he has the power to impact the world in a very positive way. Even tho' he's focused on the music and not looking for any other recognition or mission in life, I think it will inadvertantly find him. In the meantime I'm going back to Amsterdam WLL and thank the universe for Fever, Tommy, Brooke and fans that inspire him to inspire us and all of the hilarious and thought provoking ideas that are on 24/7! Time goes by Fast when you're watching Adam - it was riviting television. I too would love to see all they cut. His metamorphosis into an adult was great to watch. Think of all the kids out there who feel like they don't fit in watching this and seeing what can happen if you believe in yourself and want to make positive choices.

I was soooooo happy to see this posted. I really liked hearing Danielle.She seems beautiful inside and out. Adam's mom is just BEAUTIFUL and he definitely has her eyes and his Dad's sense of humor and Neil. They all seem so real. I liked seeing Brooke talk too. Seriously this special could have been 3 hrs and it would never be boring. I really like to listen to Adam. He seems so natural and at ease. Very Zen on one side and a WILD CHILD on the other. ok just saw part 3. Adam's vocal teacher's true emotional response brought tear to my eyes.

The show was done really well. It went by so fast. I loved getting to know Adam as a child and then a teenager and then the young adult we all love so much today. His friends and family and teachers were great. They really made the show special. Hopefully they will make Part 2 in the next few years starting with the success of his GlamNation Tour. That would be super.

Finally got to watch the entire show. 24/7 thanks so much for making this available at once. This is a must see specially for those who worry a lot about Adam's career. Hearing the Chairman of RCA himself confirm that the creative community in the music industry was excited to work with Adam says a lot, which is why FYE has great materials in it. And precisely why we have his successful GNT. To hear Rob Cavallo say that we are witnessing the birth of a new kind of star it certainly music to my ears. The E THS is the best recognition of Adam's genuine talent to date. It is an excelent reminder to everyone that Adam is like no other singer out there who will just sit or stand to render a song. Adam is deeply involved in the smallest detail of the production of his performances. I've always been saying that Adam is the consummate performer but after watching this i don't know how to best describe him anymore. There is just no limit to his talents. Definitely he isn't one to be told what to do because he will tell people what he wants done instead. He has honed his craft so well that he practically knows every single aspect of creating a show that's why we have his GNT. Now i'm so excited with his next project.

To his family, friends, vocal coach and all the other significant people in his life who has helped Adam in one way or another be where he is right now, thank you so much for your unconditional love and support. I will always be a very proud Glambert no matter what ;-)

Wow, it is a very fine layout, I particular like the young Adam footage, so adorable. From now I will watch mad world from a different angle, it all about how he feels, very touching. A legend in the making, hope E would film a GNC episode later. After this, I hope more people will understand where Adam originally come from and won't judge him from their respective point of view. It is all positive and love.

This whole "controversy" that speaks about Adam Lambert means nothing if we compare with the shame that exists today, with hunger, killing, war, trafficking. All that Adam Lambert does is because he is a complete artist in every sense. When you're on stage, Adam is an actor like any other, and therefore interprets the lyrics with mastery. It takes the fans to their feet when he sings "Fever" and the tears when he sings "Soaked" and "Aftermath." Congratulations Adam! you're the best!

I particularly was interested in the way Simon Cowell turned to stone and just sat there while Kris won Idol. Since he is so private, we will never know what was going through his mind. Lots of buzz today about Idol, and how it is ruining the music business, and only a few break out stars, Carrie Daughtery, Adam. Lots of changes coming. Watched the late showing of THS and caught more nuances. I still feel E did a good job in showing a star being born, which was the focus of the piece, at least in my viewership. A lot was in the one hour show, and least was his voice. But that is available lots of other places as we know. Not sure what to say about AMAs--didn't watch, but read a few blurbs this a.m. Oh well!
