Ok, this picture is very glam rock, but the music should be also. Mad World and Purple Haze don't really match with this.

Adam is "GLAM ARTIST" cuz he does other genres why stop at Glam Rock! That's why we love him... never dull/boring! BECAUSE HE CAN‼ ha!ha!

to anon 12:00 - what do you mean? don't you know Adam is an eclectic singer and likes all kinds of genres? hello!!! It's only a picture - and in fact only one of many. Besides this is only a vision, sound can be different. If you don't like Mad World or Purple Haze, that's fine ( they're not my favourite either) but Adam is free to sing whatever he likes, and it doesn't have to "match" anything. How boring that would be if he thought about "matching" all the time!

Never thought October could be so appealing. Agree with above post, what's with these fancy fashion houses that they haven't grabbed Adam to represent their clothing? Maybe when he's in Paris, someone will get a clue. Tall dark and beautiful--hellva combination. And he can sang.

Wow, Adam's fans are sensitive. I'm not defending 12:00, but that's just an opinion that person has a right to express without being attacked!! It's not at all nice, and it's not what Adam would do. He preaches love, and so many of you demonstate intolerance.

Anon @1:33, not all Adam fans are intolerant of different opinions. I'm a huge fan, but I don't always agree with every single thing Adam does or says. I just want him to be the huge star he deserves to be.

Adam is so beyond typical sexy beauty. Besides, the face, hair, body, voice, charisma - he's funny and intelligent. He's basically off the hook gifted in every way. Oh yes, I forgot kind, sensitive, thoughtful, gentleman, courageous......

By the way, Queen was never a Glam rock band, they just adopted the style. To be a glam rocker you will have to play rock or at least danceable pop music. Having makeup on is not enough. If someone claims they are a heavy metal band and don't play heavy metal music they will be ridiculed.

Or it was Freddie Mercury who adopted the Glam style, not the rest of the band. Their early music was called progressive rock I think, very artistic. Glam rock is more simple and for having fun.

.from the late 60s to early 70s lots of Progessive Rock from bands...Led Zeppelin..Black Sabbath..Deep Purple.Pink Fairies...Hawkwind....Hendrix etc.....then followed David Bowie..Roxy Music..Queen which then became GLAM ROCK
I would say that it was David Bowie that turned Rock to Glam Rock with his Fantastic Concerts and Costumes...it was a FUN TIME...everyone was HAPPY...which is what Music is all about making you feel good....well it is in my book:)

this whole discussion on "what glam rock is" is boring me. Adam never said he would perform only glam rock. I don't like Mad World or Purple Haze myself so much but he could sing a phone book and I'd still listen to him. When he says his "style" is glam I don't think he means music but rather visually. I don't think it's possible to categorize him and thank the universe for that.
