RCAEd from Adamofficial has confirmed that the EP pre-sales from Adamoffial ALONE has topped 7,000 units! It will be reported for the week ending 12/13.

"The EP pre-sales carried out here on AO (already topping 7,000 units!) will be reported for the Soundscan week ending on 12/13, and thus will be ADDED to the sales numbers attained on iTunes and other digi retailers that week.

Each song from the EP will likewise also be eligible for iTunes' Singles chart beginning on 12/6."

For Adam Lambert fans keeping track of new single "Sleepwalker" and its performance in Canada, there is finally something here for you to be thankful about this Thanksgiving -- the song had made its way officially onto the Hot AC chart.

In the latest Mediabase numbers, the song is up ten full spots this week to #49, and has 85 total spins -- giving it a weekly increase of 17. If the song does want to keep climbing, one of its biggest obstacles is probably going to be overcoming a relatively small audience size. In order to improve that, there's really only one solution -- more people have to pick it up across the board. With more spins coming, though, this act seems almost inevitable moving forward.

"Sleepwalker" officially becomes the fourth single to make it to this point in Canada -- however, it has still yet to debut on the Canadian Hot 100 upon checking out the latest numbers Thursday.

Last night’s premiere of E! True Hollywood Story: Adam Lambert wasn’t exactly bursting with new information about the American Idol season 8 runner-up/glittery, octave-scaling entertainer. But it did have its share of entertaining moments. My personal top 10:

10. Neil Lambert recounting that growing up, his now-famous older brother’s giant costume box meant Halloween “could happen any time of year.”
9. Footage of Adam in his Zodiac Show days, dressed in feathery regalia and sporting bright blue hair, belting “A Change Is Gonna Come.” I suspect anyone who saw that performance live and in-person wasn’t terribly surprised when Adam nailed the civil rights anthem again on the Idol stage.
8. The visual splendor of the turquoise, red, yellow, and black blouse worn during confessional interviews by Adam’s pal Scarlett Cherry. (Note how the colors were picked up by Cherry’s turquoise necklace and violet-red locks.) Fab!
7. Adam giving us too much information, but using humor to make it totally inoffensive: “I lost my virginity at 21, and it was to a man — not a woman. And it wasn’t very good.” [Laughs.] “Sometimes it takes a little while to learn how to do that correctly.” [Bigger laugh.]
6. Grade-school Adam’s Century 21 ad: Blink and you missed him!
5. Adam explaining how his bandmate Monte Pittman convinced Madonna to spend some time with the young Idol graduate. “He used the fact that I was on the cover of Rolling Stone as kind of incentive for her to meet me.”

2. Adam’s dad joking that his big-voiced son, who cried “23 hours a day,” was “one of the more evil infants.” Hey, it’s all about building lung capacity!
1. High school drama club advisor Doug Smith showing a floral prop Adam made for a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. “Lots of glitter. Adam loves glitter.”

Sunday night’s broadcast of the 2010 American Music Awards (AMAs) was the lowest-rated broadcast in the awards ceremony’s history, The Hollywood Reporter said Monday.

The broadcast, which featured live performances from Rihanna, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and the combined members of the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block, among others, drew 11.6 million viewers and a 4.3 preliminary rating among adults 18 to 49.

It was the lowest-rated broadcast in AMA history, and a decline of 22 percent from last year’s viewer numbers.

ABC, which aired the AMAs, said the show’s ratings were up 12 percent among teenagers and up 19 percent among children age 2 to 11.

Teenage pop sensation Justin Bieber was the biggest winner in Sunday’s ceremony, taking home awards for breakthrough artist, favorite pop/rock artist, favorite album of the year for “My World 2.0,” and artist of the year. He was the youngest performer ever to win artist of the year at the AMAs.

Other winners included Taylor Swift for country female artist, Rihanna for soul/R&B artist, and Shakira for Latin music artist.
