Just watched Idol and I've decided they should retire ALL THE SONGS ADAM SANG on Idol....just heard Tracks of My Tears. Want to see my tears ? I like the scruffy young man (don't watch often enough to remember names) who sang it.........BUT.........no one should sing that but Adam or Smokey.......just wipe those songs off the choice list. No one will ever do them as well IMO......................JAK

I liked Jacob tonight. What a moment to have a winner be gay (if he is), well, Adam has paved the way. JD showed some personality as well.

Yes, Paul "redoing" Track of my Tears tonight on Idol felt all wrong. Like how dare he? Ha ha, we are so obsessed. As if Adam owned all these songs. It feels like he does, though, doesn't he? We can't help saying" Oh, Adam sang that song!Adam had this dance move! Adam wore this jacket!" Sigh.

I like Paul, though. And Casey, James and Lauren. Naima is exotic, but not a great singer.Pia has a wonderful voice, but she bores me. She'd better step up to the plate next week or I'll stop voting for her. I need excitement on my Adam's platform and she's not delivering, lol.

Paul sung "Tracks of my Tears"! Please, Paul! It was big risk! Don't do it after Adam! It was rediculous!
@pg This is not Adam's song. But when Adam performed this song everybody had tears. When Paul deff failed. Did you feel anything during Paul's performance?
And after this Stegano TRY!!!to sing "Hello" And it was even WORST than Paul performance!!! "Hello" was one of the best David Cook performances! I have it on my ipod live and love to listen it againg and againg!
Next was this great country singer boy (sorry, forgot his name) who doesn't have to sing anything else except country music! It was terrible!
And at the end of the show, we saw very talented, amazing James Durbin. It was a lot of chains, skull and crossed bones on the jacket and famous scream which deff didn't fit to this event theme. But who cares! Baby boy has to have chances like everybody else. And "HE IS NOT ADAM LAMBERT"!!!! Just wondering what kind of tattoo James will get for his next show!!!!
But Jacob broke my heart today!Jacob was KING of the night!!!! When Ryan said "Now we can close the show for tonight" after Jacob's performance, it was funny, but it was true.

It's funny because when you think about Adam's journey to stardom, I remember from the AIs8 tour concert in Dallas, I went to it, Adam was the only one who had mega security when he came on to perform. Was it because of the religious nuts & threats, or was it because he was truly a STAR?!!! MWAH!! K

GGD GAL: I received an email last Friday stating that my DVD is also in the mail, but nothing so far. Glitzylady was having the same problem. Very frustrating!

HH I love those video's of the Upright Cabaret-especially "What's Goin On?" I wish the audio was better for these performances. It sounds like Adam is lisping!

Still no Glam Nation Live DVD for me either..but I couldn't wait any longer so went to Best Buy after work and bought 2 (future gifts...)..the last two left on the rack, which is a good sign! I didn't want to deplete the supply (gotta keep Adam visible!!) tho so asked someone in that dept if they had more..she said they had a new shipment being unloaded so there would be more tomorrow...Kudos to Best Buy!! ...and I'm still miffed at my local Target for stocking zero....hoping they get some in ASAP!

And saw the "Tracks of MY Tears" poll. Um...not even a contest. But there were a few votes for Paul..Different strokes I guess....

@glitzlady, I went to my local walmart & as soon as I saw Adam, I just grabbed 2 & ran like the wind! There were 4 in the slot, so there could've been more elsewhere but I just grabbed Adam like there was no tomorrow!
The dept manager, who knows me & knows I'm a big fan, she told the cashier to hurry & check my purchase out before I started drooling, yep that's right, I drooled right out that store with my 2 Adam GNT cds!! They're excellent!!!
The only thing I didn't like about the inside pattern were the lil blocks of ?(lil pics of all the members & scenes from the tour would've been nice) but maybe Adam picked that pattern out himself. I could've used more pics of Adam too! MWAH!! K

I WANT to see another breakout artist. They warn these kids.......don't do Whitney, don't do Celine etc.etc.. Then along came Leona Lewis on XFactor & out Whitneyd! Whitney. That's what I want to see.

Saw Paul Mcdonald performance of Tracks of My Tears, it was okay but adam owned the song. I agree with anon 2:06 don't dare to sing adam's AI8 performances if you cannot outdo him.

I voted on the Paul vs. Adam poll. I don´t know, but I couldn´t listen through the whole Paul performance. He was out of tune and had an irritating nasal tone. No connection with the lyrics, really not my cup of tea at all. And Adam!! Adam, Adam, Adam! What can I say? A lump in my throat, tears in my eye, a chill down my spine! And that Paul dude had never heard his version of the song. Really? He hadn´t watched AI before? Hard to believe.

AL should do Adam Lambert FYE night for the contestants, rating would shoot up the roof and this is better than doing songs that sang by Adam for every other week. Show the world something new and edgy but not just all these old songs that nobody knows. Will be interesting.

One article said Paul didn't know that Adam had sang Tracks of my Tears. The producers should have steered him away from that song. It ruined it. That one one of my favorite Adam performances. I liked Jacob and Scotty last night. James does nothing for me. I want to see him sit and do a ballad then I can better judge. There were complaints from some about Adam screaming. Well James has screamed every week so far and it hurts. Adam knows how and when to do it. The judges are acting like he is already the winner and so is James which is such a turnoff. Sorry for my ranting. Just had to vent this out.

Trying to be as objective as possible (as an Adam fan) and exerting every effort to give AI10 the chance to get me to like even just one of the contestants, I regret to say that not only do all the contestants disappoint me in varying degrees, worse, I cannot help but ask where have all the judges gone???!!?? First, they say that James has the same if not better vocals than Adam. And what do I see, he not only miserably fails to be as versatile as Adam but am I the only one who can see that he is copying Adam? Second, while indeed the contestants this year on the average are better singer sthan last year's, it seems however that each one of this year's contestants is one dimensional, one genre, inside the box type of singers. Third, the judges are so sweet and nice. Either they were told to give the contestants as much slack as possible or they are tone deaf and ar not really good judge of artistic ability and performance. I could go on and on but why be that negative?

Who said that James has better vocals than Adam? Have they really compared them?

I love all that Adam sings and have everything saved (before during and after Upright Cabaret and AI)and have my own private little concerts but I wish he would do an all Motown album and I know it would never happen but I would love to hear Adam sing "Desperado" the Linda Ronsdadt vesion.

There was a tweet on one of the AI websites.from I think her name is Bobbie McVee who co wrote teenage dream for Katy Perry. She said she was getting kinky in the studio with Adam, but the important thing she said was he can sing his face off and everyone will bow down to him. We all know that and when his second album comes out hopefully even more people will realize the iconic talent Adam is!

So far, the directions he's going for are so exciting!! The anticipation is raising my pressure! Some will never make it to the album though, so who knows.

The American Idol Top 11 rewind poll doesn't work for me either, even after deleting everything. It thanks me and says it's already counted my vote.

I'd be a better judge on AI this year than what we're hearing. BRING BACK SIMON to restore some credibility to this show. And JD's voice better than Adam's .... tone deaf or perhaps they've been told to say that because it most certainly isn't true!!
