Adam Lambert did make me want" to listen to music again." He had me at the first note on American Idol, season 8. He is one very talented, self-confident, charismatic, gorgeous performer. Here is someone who is excited about life and his music and thanks his loyal fans constantly for their dedication to him. I didn't get the chance to see Adam on his GNT, but I am so looking forward to the DVD and watching it over and over again. Adam Lambert is on the journey of a lifetime and I, as one of his fans, am so happy to be along for the ride as he travels into rock god superstardom.
Well, I HAVE received my GNT DVD/CD and haven't stopped watching the video and re-living his amazing performances. I also have the CD in my car and have been thoroughly enjoying that too. As he said in a recent interview, the CD from GNT Live gives listeners a whole different perspective than his album because he does more 'wailing' and cuts loose more -- and that's a good thing! Love it!
My husband can't understand my MUSIC AGAIN passion. Since I bought my first ever computor at the end of Season 8 Idol (in order to stalk Adam) I hardly ever watch tv anymore. Just can't sit in tv room and watch all the (what I call BODY PARTS shows....murder murder murder).
Instead I'm catching up on decades of music that slipped by me while being a Mom.....I am now a semi expert on Guns n Roses, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin. Iggy PoP. 30 Seconds to Mars ( not crazy about them, but grandson knows Jared Leto so I give them a listen), Motley Crue, The Moody Blues.......on and on. It's fun!
The only time I "share tv" with my guy is when we watch rousing political satire programs.
Thank you Adam..You Make Me Want To Listen To Music Again......mostly YOUR music....JAK
I watched a movie on tv last weekend that had Jared Leto in it. Have to say it was the best movie I've seen for ages. It was called The Lord of War. I hope Adam will get good movie roles too. It don't have to be a romance movie.
You know in my wild imaginings (and they can get pretty wild) I don't see Adam in films. He appears to be the type who needs the instant gratification (control your thoughts girls) of audience approval. The more the audience gives the more he gives.
I do see more videos (please please) in his future and would love feature length films, but still see him on stages in my mind......actually he spends a lot of time in my mind I should charge him rent!...................JAK
OMG - I just got my GN Live dvd...just about slipped in a puddle of my own drool, just from the exictement of holding the unopened dvd in my hands!! Have not watched it yet....can't WAIT!
I,too, agree with a previous comment about Adam being a live, stage performer rather than a film actor. He feeds off the response from the audience and luxuriates in it. I would love to see him in a Broadway production. I realize he did theater for a great part of the last ten years, but maybe down the road he will come to Broadway in a new muscial production written especially with him in mind or perhaps starring in a revival of a musical from the past. I am sure he would fill the theater every night and there would be that instant gratification from the audience. Oh, well, I can dream can't I ???
How do you know Adam doesn't want to be in a movie? He lives in Hollywood. Making music and touring doesn't require that. If he wanted to perform on Broadway he would have moved to New York.
JAK......That's your dream isn't it,,Adam in a great musical play? I'll meet you in N.Y. if it happens! Imagine that booming voice filling the theater, WOW Roses being thrown at his feet!
If Adam makes a movie I´ll sit in the first row with my pops!! And I´ll go and see the movie again and again! I can´t get enough of his cute face!!! Sanni

No one said he didn't want to be in a movie, in fact we heard him say he would someday. He also said he was never brave enough to try N.Y.
We know most of his interviews word for word.
We are loving Adamaniacs. RW

Adam has said he'd like to be in a movie some day but right now, he is concentrating on his singing career.
Adam is indeed the actor in the Time For Miracles clip - he's simply wonderful! :+)
