Did we find out whether that photo from the other thread is real or fake? Because I see that photo on twitter and people are tweeting about it like it's real. So i'm guessing real.

Sometimes I just can't put my finger on why Adam touches me so deeply. This video gets close to expressing it.

OFF TOPIC: I am officially a new fan of Adam Lambert. I have heard about him the past few years but never really cared about pop music in general but on youtube, I stumbled across his live version of "IF I CAN'T HAVE YOU" and I nearly cried. That was such a powerful rendition of the original.

Can someone recommend me one of his original songs that sound like that?

I LOVE this vid so much ... and YES! I can hear ADAM singing THIS song ... if he ever does decide to cover it ... call the 'Glambulance' ... this version gives me misty eyes ... BUT ... ADAM singing this ... don't think I can handle it ... OMGSH ... hope ADAM sees this video ... PERFECT!!

Well, I loved this video even though it is a little odd. But, I lost my husband 4 years ago and I find my Adam "obsession" has been some what of a comfort to me and has added some fun back into my life.

I really do have it under control and my gown children have canceled the "intervention".

@Anon. 3:12PM ... there is also a video of an Italian male singer .. Myky Petrillo .. on Ytube ... I checked it out & I don't think he put it in the same perspective as Evanescence ... more like a lost love (separation/divorce) and the pain & heartache while getting over the 'one that didn't work out' ... e.g. ADAM & Brad ... not DEAD ... does it mention DEAD in the lyrics ... if it did ... I missed it. Nonetheless ... I can still hear ADAM singing this in his own version somewhat like Can't Let You Go ... only in falsetto ... JMO

welcome, little cookie, there are so many ... as i started thinking what i could suggest i almost gave up cuz i love all his stuff, but it occurred to me that maybe a couple of his oldies might be real good for you to listen to. so i'd suggest "The Prayer." also, there's a song from Brigadoon that just melts me. And "Change is Gonna Come." You can find em all on U-Tube. Oh, and I assume you've seen all his American Idol stuff. If you haven't, you've gotta.

welcome to this site. we're normally all very nice and in total agreement with our obsession of Adam...
Can't let you go is one of my favourite Idol performances of Adam. If you haven't check out all his Idol songs as One, A change is gonna come, Tracks of my tears, Mad world were all great. As were the faster paced ones..
Also as mentioned Broken open, Soaked (especially live), Come to me, bend to me from Brigadoon, Is anybody listening from The 10 Commandments. I just love you, and so many others. Whatever you find on youtube will lead you to another gem. But don't forget to watch some of his interviews too. A good one to start with would be Michael Slezaks Idolatry interview which is in 5 parts, but there are 100's of others, a small hint, many of the European and Australian interviews are better...and lastly don't forget to buy his cd and live tour dvd!!!

Apart from Soaked, Time For Miracles and Sleepwalker (from Adam's album) and One (which he sang on American Idol) - all DIVINE - I actually prefer Adam's faster paced songs to his other ballads but to each his/her own. ALL Adam's songs have a very special place in my heart. :)

The lyrics to this song are very sad and poignant.

Adam would sing this song beautifully.

I'm just not sure what the sadness is all about.

I also lost my husband a few years ago, so have the time and energy for being a true Adam fan. I also am not sure why this video, while beautiful, was so sad. I believe that Adam is in a good place in his life at the moment. Pretty sure Sauli went home due to obligations and Adam is busy. I think they have a love that will endure for them both.

@ 3:28, I also lost my husband 4 years ago, but my kids think I should have an intervention because of my Adamaddiction!lol Adam was a huge gift after such a loss, but he reminds us to live life, in spite of pain or loss and he ignited a spark that glows brightly and brings a renewed appreciation of the good things in life that we now have and what's to come. The Immortal was written by Ben Moody when he was 15 years old and dedicated to his dead grandfather. It about a spirit that haunts you to the point that you wish it would go away and leave you alone.

I love the singing here and the words written by a young Ben Moody are awesome. I think the disconnect for some of us Adam fans is that Adam stands for sunshine, light, and everything beautiful and good. It's written all over his beautiful face.

I wish much future happiness and joy to all who have lost what has meant so much to them: glam kitty, spouses who have passed and all loved ones. Thank God we have Adam as our obsession to fill the void for whatever reason.
