Adam & Sauli look so happy and relaxed in the pics from BM. So glad they could go and enjoy themselves. Sauli said it was the best week ever. In the other pic (the group pic, posted in Sauli's blog) they look so cute with Adam's arm around Sauli. I wonder if Adam still has the goatee or was it just a disguise for BM? lol

Great picture! Boots and gloves haha. Here in Canada, we reserve these for cold weather!

I put up my old fav pic of Adam on the beach bike, googles, hair flying at BM in 2008 (or o7) and smiled each time I passed it this weekend. Seeing him happy is what being a fan is all about (I guess). Sometimes I wonder when I read some blogs. Hair on face, hair not on face....who CARES???? Just keep the music/performances/messages coming - we love it ALL!!

And the glam-goatee has returned! Looks like Adam and Sauli had a great time at Burning Man. And know that the whole "Where's Adam Lambert?" mystery has been solved, we have a new mystery on our hands: "When is the new single and second album gonna be released?".

9:12 I have been doing my share with WWFM and even threw in some GNL WWFM views. GaGa's fan did this when her most watched video was almost taken over by another video, I helped them out too.

Looks like Adam went incognito with the beard at BM. Like no one would recognize him. But in that open and artistic atmosphere, he became one of the crowd. Knew we would get an update from Sauli as he is contracted to blogging on a regular basis. Interesting pictures. What's with the red Santa Suit? LOL

SK is rubbing it in the face of the hormonal fangirlies who wish they had the golden ticket.:) AL looks foxiii

Sauli wrote that it was his best week EVER.

The reason they are wearing more clothes in one pic, is that it is night, and temps drop to the 50s. Cannot really see what Adam is wearing in other pic, cuz he is wearing those high boots that go up to his knees. I think it is recomended that people wear boots, may be for snakes or some other nasty critter that bites. In the one pic it seems they are on top of a car, where Sauli said was the best place to dance. Adam has been trying for Sauli to experience every good thing that Adam has done, this was a very special event that I am sure he had been counting on for Sauli. My guess was that they would fly, and not drive. I couldn't see Adam taking his beautiful car out in all that sand, LOL I hope it turned out to be a wonderful time for both of them, still not my cup of tea, but to each his own. May be they went on that fast before they went, so that their stomachs would shrink, cus I don't think they would be over eating out there.:)

Yup, according to saul's blog- They flew in a 4 man plane! i don't think I could last a week out there, maybe a couple of days tops!!

@LP Regarding your last sentence @12:09 - if you knew anything about Burning Man, it would be that there were 50,000 tickets sold and that the food consigners are picked by Burning Man for their uniqueness and quality...that includes taste. No one starved; they probably dined on cuisines never before tried.

I am surprised that they both didn't grow beards. Thought there was only drinking water Sauli said no showers all week. Why would any one know who they were? Millions of people have not heard of Adam and Sauli.
@1:53 Thats a lot of people to feed. I am sure they brought along some food themselves. I didn't think they would go hungry, people also shared stuff. Yes I knew that food cosigners were allowed just outside the compound.

With so many people at BM wearing all types of costumes and head gear, it might be difficult to recognize Adam or Sauli. But if you happened to notice a good-looking couple, and knew about AL and SK, you probably guessed right. I don't believe anyone went there seeking celebs. No one even knew if Adam was there until these recent pics and Sauli's blog along with Adam's one tweet. If he went there with Sauli to revitalize his spirit, good for him. Now that he's back he has to refocus his attention and energy on the album and that first single. I would hope that after the release of his second album, Adam will gain a wider audience of listeners and followers along with the success he so deserves.

I dont believe that the people that attend BM would give a damn about any celebrity that they see there. Great place for Adam! They all look cute!

I see that Sauli has adopted the fingerless gloves, nail polish and, of course, some eyeliner. Adam's sense of style seems to have rubbed off a bit. I think he's lookin' mighty fine along with his honey.

Burning Man is an experience that will totally enrich and change your life. I wonder how it's affected Adam and Saul's?
Loved Sauli's blog. He is such a beautiful guy.

The cap on ticket sales was necessary to limit attendance as required by the permit issued by the federal Bureau of Land Management. That permit allows for 50,000 people at any one time, organizers said, and more than 51,500 tickets were sold last year.

Burning Man has been gradually increasing attendance ever since the first event was held to celebrate radical self-expression, inclusion and communal well-being. It started on Baker Beach, but after the National Park Service police prohibited burning the structure in 1990, organizers moved to the Black Rock Desert. The cap on tickets has hundreds of people, some who already asked for time off of work, booked flights and rented RVs, logging onto sites like Craigslist, eBay and StubHub in search of tickets.

People on eBay have bid more than $1,500 for a single ticket - more than four times the highest retail priced ticket at $360. StubHub is selling tickets from $1,270 to $250,000.

That profit-seeking spirit is quite the departure from the money-free economy that operates on the Burning Man playa, where the community thrives on gifting and communal welfare and the only allowed commercial transactions are for ice and coffee.

Some past Burning Man participants who were not able to secure tickets are now flagging sellers and buyers on Craigslist who are willing to make above-retail value offers.

This Burning Man event involves huge planning and coordination on so many fronts. The only drawback to many as I see it, is the wind-blown sand but it is also a great test of survival. I read a rather cute but seemingly true account of the origin of the Burning Man.It seems a student made a sketch of his Maths teacher in his journal and also wrote that he and some friends were going to burn it at recess time at school; but it didn't happen. :) Subsequently, a friend who kept the journal, made a wicker/cardboard man and brought it to a desert and burnt it at a sort of campfire gathering, many many years later. A rather humble and insignificant start for such a huge event. Also, it takes more than 1300 calculations to build the present complex Burning Man structure and symbolism. :)

I'm glad Sauli was keeping God in mind and his pants on at BM. It's an old phrase in Finland that parents used to say to the youth when they were going out to dance on a saturday night.

Yeah - " Keeping God in mind and pants on " is just a funny old Finnish phrase. I saw in twitter that someone made out of it a conclusion that Sauli is very religious.

I don't know if he is or not, but that phrase doesn't adduce it.

I don't think Sauli is a very religious person, but it's nice he's sensible.
