I wonder what the article was about? I remember Bowie from those far away and long ago days in Neverland. It will please Adam to be paired with Bowie in any way!......JAK

Adam sure will be lovin this picture near his all time Favorite Bowie. I hope someday his dream of doing a duet with him will come true.

I don't think that will ever happen, Bowie was smart enough to know when to quit. But I hope Adam can meet him someday!

@JAK
my first thought was 'paint in black' refers to the clothes, but Bowie isn't wearing black, then the nail polish, but then the weird guy on the bottom left doesn't really have any one (unless its just very chipped).

The world lost a great innovator of our time. Watch this video of Steve Jobs speech at Stanford University about life:

Lessons to learn from a great genius of our time!

So sad, another talent lost in the world! We all benefit from Steve in some ways! :(

Claude Kelly was on XFactor tonight to help with group singing. He impressed me, he seems like a hard working serious guy.

HK fan, maybe it's the eyeliner and Marilyn Manson has his bottom lip lined in black and some have on black nail polish and some are dressed in black.

Adam and Bowie on the same page! Adam will love it!

I hope Adam gets to see this magazine. He will flip out being on the same page with Bowie. I hope someone tweets this to him.

It is indeed very sad to hear of the passing of Steve Jobs. An ironic twist is that today on site that houses HP(my brother works there), Apple just bought that land and will be building a huge round building as Apple's headquarters instead of the many buildings they occupy a few miles away. Anyway, long story, short, is a disgruntled employee at a cement company a few miles away shot and killed 2 co-workers, then got into his car and drove 5 miles to the soon to be new Apple headquarters, and attempted to carjack a woman's car. He shot her in the leg and is at large. My Dad lives 2 blocks from there. Police are going door to door looking for the gunman.

OT here is Sauli's latest blog translated that I found from:

Adam Lambert Fan club

Sauli Koskinen's new blog translated via Live Journal & mindchnger & moominbert.
Sauli in Hollywood! Full Week! 10-6-11.
Good evening Finland!! Another week has passed and I have to seriously think what all I've been up to. Hmmm... The week was filled with all sorts of things, so this blog is going to be a bit of a mess. So, to begin: Last week I visited Venice Beach with some friends. I've been there a couple of times before and it's definitely one of the must-see places for anyone visiting LA.
Venice is famous for its canals, beaches and the circus-like Ocean Front Walk, where there are a lot of performers, fortune-tellers and street vendors. It's possible to occasionally feel like a normal person amid all the freaks. Some of the people you see are so out there!! Many tv shows, such as Baywatch and Californication, have been shot on Venice, so anyone who watches those shows has seen this place on tv. People get around on rollerskates, bikes and skateboards, and it's also popular with surfers. I would never want to live on Venice though, because it's quite restless and also not the safest place to live. It's nice to visit, but equally nice to leave. I can't say I'm the sanest one out there, but I'm quite a long way still from going around on rollerskates drumming and singing nonsense songs... Sheesh!!

The week also included three housewarming parties, two local and one Finnish. So I have to admit I've been partying, and hard! :) I love that I've found so many new friends here. There seem to be a lot of Finns living here and we hang together quite a bit. On the weekend, we partied in the Finnish style and only listened to Finnish music. You have to party like a Finn every once in a while if you're going to stay here and keep your sanity... :) hah! Local housewarming parties aren't too different from Finnish ones, apart from the language.

At these housewarming parties, I did some research into the price of rentals and I was surprised at how cheaply it's possible to live here. A nice-sized, well-maintained single bedroom apartment is about $1200 and a studio apartment is about $700. Of course it depends on the location, but you can find an apartment in this range in a nice area. As an added bonus, nearly all buildings have their own pool and gym. What's not to like about living here instead of cold Finland... hint hint, hurry up! :)

Last week, I went and got my ears pierced. I went straight for gauges that you can see through to the other side. Little holes are so old-fashioned, big metal gauges are the thing, hahah! It hurt quite a lot, but I gritted my teeth and got through it. I also found out that if/when I ever want to take these off, the hole will shrink back down to normal. Of course they'll stretch if I go up several sizes, but I'm not planning on elephant ears. I just wanted to add something new to my look. Hah!!

All the animals are gone from the yard, including the spiders! It feels wrong to be able to be outside without all the furry friends. I kind of feel like poor lonely Snow White without all the friends, but maybe the monkey in the picture is better off this way. :) yay!

@ Daydreamin, Hope your Dad will be safe and they catch that gunman! So many crazy people out in the world. Still feel so badly for the Norway tragedy. All so senseless. Thanks for the Sauli blog! Glad he's not going to get bigger guages. I just don't see the point, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.Just think if your tastes change or get tired of the look, it's permanent. My uncle Fred used to be the City Engineer or Mgr of the city of Venice many years ago and used to play golf with the actor, Glen Ford. Haven't thought of that in many years and he didn't fit the picture of Venice Beach! You always find the good stuff for us! funbunn40

What a thrill for Adam to be on the same cover as Bowie! I do hope he will somehow be able to realize his dream of meeting him. I guess he's been in poor health and not seen in public much. I'm not a fan of Marilyn Manson, but there's someone for everyone.. Anticipation is really building for his new CD! so sorry to hear of Adele's throat problems. She's my 2nd fave next to Adam. On Ellen today she had ayoung woman naned Emily that did Adele's cover of Someone Like You that was fantastic. Ellen signed her to her record label. She won a contest that the snarky Perez Hilton had of singers covering Adele's songs. I could see her singing with Adam. She goes to Berkley and her accomp. Charles does also. He's good too and was bullyied as a child. There have been over a million hits of them on YTube. funbunn40

Safety first, @daydreamin, hope your father is safe, are you staying in touch with him? I Would definitely feel nervous as hell. Been hearing bits of news here & there but not paying too much attention, thanks for putting the bits together.
Second of all , congrats to Adam being on the same Page as Bowie! I wonder if Adam knows this marylin Manson guy, Rose Mc Gowan did date the guy! & Adam knows Rose.
& last! Why the hell is Sauli looking for an apartment for? Ok, why is Sauli doing rental research?!!!! None of my biz, I know, but I just had to ask!! Maybe it's for a friend.

I got Monte's album yesterday and one of his deepest appreciations went to Suz526. I thought that was thoughtful of him to mention her. I have played the C/d several times and like it more each time. Today I will download it from itunes.
