I guess we knew this was coming didn't we? But come on...a wax figure? We may not always like the style of his clothes or the cut of his hair, but Adam Lambert is never boring or uninteresting.

I think JR has gay ocd. Nice they showed the picture of Adam and Queen and the Elvis picture. Hey, they didn't say anything about his hair though. lol

Actually, Joan was almost harmless with these comments if we compare them with her comments about Adam on Grammy's!!!
I am so glad, they have picture of Adam performing with Queen and didn't forget about OUT100!
Wax figure? Didn't get it.I just thought about Madam Tusso wax figures museum.LOL. As far as they made wax statue of Bieb and GaGa, I think Adam deserves to be in this museum also:) What do you think about this?

@anon 9:15PM I love these shoes from the first second I saw them. Yes, I heard Joan's laugh in the same moment when I saw Adam on the Red or Pink:) carpet.
But these shoes are amazing. Be honest, I have almost the same suede shoes, but they are red.

The creepers are more conspicuous than the tan..

I grateful they didn't say anything awful, just poking a bit of fun...at someone who has "made it" as a now well known celebrity.

beautiful picture of Adam with Queen and the OUT100 picture. The rest was just fluff to me.

When I first saw the blue shoes, I thought "Oh no Adam has done it again" But then again only Adam could get away with it. He loves to wear something that is different. I don't think the shoes are supposed to be worn with a suit. When she mentioned, that at first she thought he was a wax figure, that is a huge compliment. Not sure if Bieber and GaGa are in Madam Tussaudes, There is probably another museum for artists and entertainers.I have been to Madam Tussaudes in London UK, and I think the US has one too, not sure where, my guess would be Hollywood But it would have to include presidents etc, etc, unless it's just for stars in the entertainment business.

@ HAL, Thanks for the video of Adam's top performances on Idol. Always love going back to them. I felt the same way as LP when I first saw Adam on the Red Carpet. Have to agree that the blue creepers was just to much for that exquisite blue suit and Alexander McQueen shirt.lack shoes would have been just right. It was beautifully cut and tailored, but shoes were too casual and took away from the suit, but with Adam, more is more. He looks astoundingly handsome and perfect on the Majors and Minors clip. So glad he kept that look for mentoring. So handsome and non-intimidating for the kids. He connects so well with them. I think he did look a little mannequin like in that photo,unfortunately. The hair just does nothing to enhance that gorgeous face. Hope he gets over it and bored with it soon. The electric blue streaks were sexy and stunning. The shoes would be fun with jeans and look very comfy.

I hope they don't revive the teddy boy look or the hairstyle ever again. Adam might go for it.

I loved the shoes, hope to see them again. Like the hair too, and I think a lot of the younger fans like the hair (disclaimer - not saying that I'm younger.....),too.

I haven't actually watched the EMA's yet, apart from Adams part, but MTVasia have it on again tonight so might watch it.
It makes me laugh that Joan has a programme slagging off peoples clothes when she often looks pretty ropey herself!!

I assumed that when they mentioned that Adam was doing an homage to Elvis (or at least to the Andy Warhol picture of Elvis) in a picture in OUT magazine, then they would realize that Adam was still doing a reference to Elvis by wearing blue suede shoes to the EMAs. In a tweet right after the EMAs, Adam even said "Hey, lay off of my blue suede shoes!" Remember, Adam has a sense of humor!

@HK fan - you haven't seen the EMA video yet? OMG you have to! Good luck finding a video that hasn't been removed yet - it was really epic!!

I hesitated to even watch since J.R. is a total turn-off for me, no matter what comes out of her mouth. As for the "wax figure" comment,don't they see that every time they look at Joan Rivers? I shudder just looking at her.
As for Adam, he's the best. Who cares what they say on this show?

Adam knew those shoes would attract attention and I think he also knew they didn't exactly go with the suit. But that's Adam. We Glamberts "get" him, but others still don't. Glad to see him covered on this silly show only because it means he matters in the media. He'll take his hits and still be himself. JR is a has-been who's still trying to keep herself going. I enjoyed her back in her heyday. She did good stand-up. Adam will not always dress to please the fashion police, that's for sure! But when he DOES, WOW!

As for the shoes, I heard one European source call them "plateau" shoes and they are apparently high fashion right now. Personally, I like the shoes but I don't think they match the outfit. Overkill on the blue theme.

The whole cast that reviews clothes on the E! Fashion Police could be critiqued for their looks on any given day....but I think they were trying to go easy and did show Adam's performance outfit even if they didn't say anything about it. Adam seemed in a playful mood before the concert and after the concert.

Joan Rivers shouldn't be comparing ADAM to a waxed figure ... one more face lift & her 'navel' will be in the center of her forehead & smiling will be a thing of the past for her ... she'll never smile again!! Sorry ... but as you can see ... JR is not one of my favorite people. Her only claim to fame is snarky remarks about those celebs in the biz who are MORE famous than she!! I don't watch Fashion Police even when ADAM is featured!! Sorry .. JMO

Billboard pegged him as the 4th best dressed person at the EMAs, but knew the blue shoes would get him a mention on FP. They did pick a picture that had no animation. The thing is I appreciate Joan and her remarks, it's who she is. Also George is always fair to people, as Kelly is, with the exception of Christina. But Guillina wtf her last name is always had something negative to say about Adam, and some other people also. She does not like Adam. Why she is even on that show is a mystery, she had no personal fashion sense. She ass kisses the stars that she thinks are big at the moment. I thought the take on Adam's and George's Out 100 very classy of Joan/Melissa.

I love those creeper shoes. As a matter a fact I'm gonna order a pair for myself now. Maybe they are right the shoes didn't compliment his blue suit but Adam has long legs and with a nice pair jean it's a killer. I love his hair too. It's so current and edgy. It is called Fade hair do.

Kelly Osbourne likes Adam and gets him. Joan just does what she does to get a laugh, but Julianna Rancic is snarky and never has anything good to say about Adam. She looks hard to me and seems very superficial, but must have something going for her. I just don't see it. Yet, she is entitled to her opinion. I didn't care for her before her remarks about Adam. At least they mentioned him, but could have done without Adam being a Queen reference.

When you're in the limelight, you will be scrutinized. It comes with the territory. I didn't like the blue shoes with that beautiful suit he had on. I thought they were too casual. I hated the Andy Warhol type photo in the red pants and severe makeup. But, it gets him in the noticed. It's when they DON'T talk about you in Hollywood that you have to worry. The more he is talked about, the more people know who he is. There is some truth to the saying, "There's no such thing as bad publicity.

@Tess, you're too hard on Missed Joan Rivers. You should be kinder to the really ancient celebs who can still stand. And as for her many face lifts, her navel is now her new cleft chin. Next lift will put it in center of her forehead much like the cyclops of mythology. We will then be able to call her the "all seeing eye."

The only props I can give her is her ability to wear 5 inch heels. I gave them up when I became eligible for Medicare.

I love Adam's GlamBlue shoes. Also his blue Alexander McQueen shirt. The man knows how to dress to draw attention. Isn't that the name of the game?

Joan is a person that I love to hate. George sure is looking fine since his Grammy critique. I didn't even know that was him. Glad to see him in the OUT100 too.

So the blue suede shoes are called "creepers". Mmmmmmm, probably well-named .... haha!! They're OK for casual wear but they didn't go well with the suit.

Geez - these unattractive people should look at their own fashion choices - pretty bad.
