Well, did Adam get to Lapland to meet Santa Claus? I'd love to see a picture of Adam on Santa's lap. I'm sure it would be something special. Hope he and Sauli are enjoying their time together with Sauli's family and friends. It must be a totally different kind of holiday for Adam since he doesn't celebrate Christmas.We all want Adam to come home soon to begin the promos for the new single. I also wonder if Adam will appear on the Grammy awards show in February since I have seen tv promos for the show already. It would be a great place for him to perform the new single, don't you think? Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and now we have a week to recuperate before the big New Year's celebration. Then it's on to 2012 which hopefully will be a better year for all of us in every respect.

BTIKM seems befitting of what happened between Adam and Sauli. It's as if the incident played itself out, in the song especially the chorus. So in this sense the song will relate to many, young and old in a relationship not necessary confined to lovers only. Just like WWFM which took on a life all its own; interpreted in various scenarios. And that Adam pristine ultra 'self' note grabs the attention intended. No way it won't make it right to the summit this time.

I'm sure that this trip to Finland has given Adam a new appreciation for how Sauli felt when he left his own family and friends to live in L.A. with Adam. It's a big sacrifice to make. The language and customs are so different. Sauli has handled it so well.

When you are tired beyond tired, beyond tired, is that dead tired or just dead? Next year, no cosy gathering at Grandma's house with the table filled with homemade goodies, house decorated in every room. Next year it's gather family up, forget gifts and drive 20 minutes to cruise ship port and spend 3 days being waited on hand and foot (spa), excellent food, cabin steward, round the clock entertainment if you wish or just relax on balcony in deck chair and appreciate the beauty of God's creation...land and sea! Sounds good to me!

DRG, it's nice if people see that also from that perspective. I've seen so many comments over time on fan sites where the message is (subtly stated or spelled out) that Sauli has it so great living in LA in Adam's house. And it provably is great, but especially here in the US people think more about money, possessions and fame than for example us Finns in general do. I've lived here for many years and have experienced that quite big difference in general attitudes.

I'm not saying that all Americans are materialists, or that even being one would be bad. But there are many other considerations, such as having so many people you love living so far away, being always in a little "weaker" position when communicating since English is a foreign language to you, there are so many subtle and not so subtle cultural differences etc. I'mnot saying that Sauli's life here must be hard. But based on what he has said during the fall and my own experiences, I'm sure it's not totally easy and walking on roses either. Just glad that people can see that size of it, too.

As almost always I agree with what you just said about BTIKM. The lirycs touch me the very first time, bur now the meaning grows every time I listen to it. I can picture Adam sayind thouse words from the bottom os his heart to Sauli. I wonder what would he said during his concerts before singing that song...prepare for some tears...
As I said in another thread,there are many kinds of love but the love that thouse two share is the hardest BUT also THE BEST!! IMO.
