OT - reading EW magazine for Dec. 23/30th and on page 92 under heading of Our Favorite Commercials of the Year is listed Google Chrome, "It Gets better". Mentions Dan Savage, creator of this project, and the hugh impact it has had " . . . . . features celebrities lady Gaga and Adam Lambert rallying in support of gay youths ........". Since so many well known celebrities appeared in these videos, thought it super cool that they mentioned Adam!!!!!! Love seeing/hearing his name when not expected! ... Adamluv

This is really a good predictor of when the song gets ads on the radio. These spins are going to soar and I can't wait to get sick of it on the radio HaHa I never get sick of Adam's voice and I love BTIKM.Go purchase it on itunes if you haven't already or gift it.

I've tried to like this song. I even bought it so that I could support Adam and could listen to it more often and have it grow on me. It hasn't. I HOPE the rest of the album has more to offer. I'm JUST not impressed with this as the choice for a single. I wonder whose decision it was to use this as the debut single for the new CD. It's dropped to 102 in the Itunes single download sales.

3:10 give it some time, 54 airplays is practically nothing. Ha Ha it took me awhile to like it too!! Don't forget to give it some views on vevo people. They haven't been adding the views for alot of Adam's videos.

Don't have any idea why I supose to be happy for Adam as far as BTIKM didn't make ever top 100 after 7 days on Itunes. But it is holiday season. This is "Time For Miracles"!

I loved this song the 1st time I heard it. It's so intense and beautiful it "gripped" me from 1st listen. I hope it's hugely supported right around the world. Adam and this song deserve all the success possible.

Adam maked the choice because he's in charge of whole thing.

Adam problem is he's broadway singer and attach to he's emotions and most of he's song was theatrical like:wwfm and pop as well.
I heard from review that it's funk,mid-tempo.

It is actually #38 on itunes pop chart and the 101 is all songs. It is not on the radio yet, so a lot of people who don't follow Adam do not know about the song. Once it hits the radio it will shoot up the chart.I love the song and think it will do really well on both HAC and top 40 stations!

Where do you find the pop chart stats. All I saw was the top 200 singles for all songs being sold at the ITunes site. Yesterday Adam was at 63; today at 102.

ot, I was reading some of the stories in USA TODAY, the source of this thread, and very sad to find out George Michael has been very ill. He has been in hospital for pneumonia and even needed a tracheostomy. He has been discharged but still very weak and ill. My prayers to him.

I think we have to agree that BTIKM didn't make the hit. I don't have any idea about promotion for the songs. But I don't think JB or GaGa or Adele need the promotions. BTIKM was on top 20 only for few hours. This is very sad but maybe Adam made a mistake. He is a human. Except little detail. Nobody knows if any songs from new album will make top 20 or top 100. May be whole idea of new album was a mistake:(

I remember it was the same with WWFM, started quite unpromisingly; it was after Adam performed it bathed in green laser light on AI, it shot up leaping more than ten slots and till today, it's still remembered. So we have to wait for Adam to do likewise for BTIKM and with the RCA Impacting, it will shoot up like WWFM. :)

I can't believe some of the negativity here. The song hasn't really had its promotion yet. Adam hasn't been singing it publicly yet. He hasn't had interviews yet. The video is not out yet. It will rise in the charts. Will it be the biggest song on the new CD? Maybe not. We don't know yet. The song has a great melody, and strong hook and Adam's voice to bring it to life. I liked it right away. No sense in being negative at this point. True, Gaga and Bieber don't have these concerns. Their songs will be #1 no matter what. Good for them. When songs are relased right at Christmas time, it's hard to push through all the holiday music. Jan. and Feb. will be different. I am always amazed at some of the crappy songs by other singers that do make #1. Go figure.

8.45 I second you comments. Plus it is early yet to make such predictions as the single not doing well. With no promotion and being released at Christmas time I would say it has done really well and will certainly be a hit.

@Lam-my I think WWFM became a big hit before AI green lasers performance.
Who knows, may Adam will get chance to peform on AI this year. And it will help BTIKM to get more airplays.

Oh ye of little faith!.... I have been pushed into 21st century...I am usually a pessimist...as you may recall I didn't care much for the BTIKM "thumps" the first time I heard it...now I don't even notice them. I had my first lesson with my Christmas ipod today, guess what my first all on my own download was? Yep! And I love it!

I'm driving myself crazy running possible video scenarios thru my head...and you know I have a vivid imagination!!!!!! Can't wait!

Hi9:00, yes it was quite a hit but when I checked the charts quite often, it always remained out of the Top 10. It was exactly after his A1 performance, then it leaped into the Top 10 and subsequently became platinum. Don't know if without that green laser performance it might have not shot up that quickly and could have been 'lost' like so many songs of FYE album...my favourite being FYE song; very very sad, still can't quite get over it. So I think BTIKM will definitely have a better chance of going platinum though may take a bit more time. There is this demo song called Dreamer, rumoured to be on his new album, so beautiful but don't know exactly if it'll be featured. :)

Take a deep breath and get ready. This song is going to do well. Just wait until he's been on a couple of TV programs like Ellen or Leno. It is such a good song everyone is going to love it. It immediately became my new Adam favorite!

Live performance changes everything. Just wait.
